Bulges:Dependingonuse,bulgesmayappearnearendofbatterylife.Thisdoesnotaffect
safety.
Replacing Battery:Thebatteryisaconsumableitem.Itneedstobereplacedifoperatingtime
shortensnoticeably.Purchaseanewbattery.
Cleaning:Cleansoiledterminalsbetweenbatteryandphonewithaclean,drycottonswab.

1. Plugthechargerintothechargingportofyourphone.
2. PlugtheACadapterintoanelectricaloutlet.
3. Aftercharging,unplugtheACadapterfromtheoutletandremovethechargerfromthephone.
Charge Using a PC Connection
BeforeusingaPCconnectiontochargeyourphone,ensurethatthecomputeristurnedon.
Dependingonthetypeofconnection,yourphone’sbatterymaynotcharge.

3. Aftercharging,removetheUSBcablefromboththephoneandthecomputer.
SIM Card
TheSIMcardisanICcardcontainingphonenumberandothercustomerinformation.Yourphone’s
SIMcardispreinstalledandshouldonlybeaccessedifdirectedbyacustomerservice
representative.
Handling a SIM Card
KeepthefollowinginmindwhenhandlingaSIMcard.

numbers(MEIDandICCID).Thesenumberscanbefoundonthephone'spackaging.
FormoreinformationaboutyourBoostaccount,seeBoostAccountInformationandHelp.
Create Your Account and Pick Your Plan
SetupyourBoostaccount.
1. Fromyourcomputer,visitBoostmobile.comandclickActivate.
2. ChooseanactivationoptionandclickNext.
3. Whenprompted,entertheserialnumber(MEID)printedonthestickerlocatedonthebackof
yourphoneinthebatterycompartment.Thisnumbercanalsobefoundonthebottompanelof
thephone’spackage.
4. Followtheremaininginstructionstochooseyourplanandselectapaymentmethod.
5. Followtheactivationinstructionsbelowandyou’llbeabletostartusingyourphone.
Note:Youcanalsoactivatebyphonebycalling1-888-BOOST-4U (1-888-266-7848)fromany
otherphone.
Activate Your Phone
AftersettingupyouraccountonBoostmobile.com,simplyturnyourdeviceon.Yourdeviceis
designedtoactivateautomatically.IfyouareswappingfromanotherBoostdevicetoanewone,be
suretoturnofftheolddevicebeforeswappingtheserialnumber(MEID).OncetheMEIDswapis
complete,turnonthenewdeviceandtheprogramminginformationwillbepushedtoyourdevice
automatically.
Complete the Setup Screens
Thesetupscreenshelpyousetupcertainfeaturesandpreferencesonyourphone.Onceyour
phonehasbeenturnedon,youwillseeaWelcomemessage.Youcanthencompletethesetup
process.
