The product is guaranteed to be free from defects in workmanship and parts for a period
of 12 months from the date of purchase. Defects that occur within this warranty period, under
normal use and care, will be repaired, replaced or refunded at our discretion. The benets
conferred by this warranty are in addition to all rights and remedies in respect of the product
that the consumer has under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and similar state and
territory laws.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation
for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.You are also entitled to have the goods

Check your reception coverage in your area by
visiting http://myswitch.digitalready.gov.au/
and entering your address. This antenna is
suitable for areas with Good Coverage. If your
address does not have Good Coverage, you
may not be able to pick up all digital channels
with this antenna and a rooftop antenna may
be necessary.

2.1 Setting up your Indoor Antenna
Use the following guide to ensure that the best reception signal can be achieved.
Variables unrelated to product performance can aect reception. These include obstacles and
terrain between the transmitter and your antenna, radiated energy from electronic components
and building materials such as concrete or aluminium panelling. Consider these factors during
installation. For best results, test the antenna in multiple locations until you nd a position that
provides the best reception.
2.1.1 Angle
Position the back of the Antenna to be facing the strongest transmission
tower. (Indicated on http://myswitch.digitalready.gov.au by the green line)
2.1.2 Location
Placing the Antenna near a window will also increase the signal strength
2.1.3 Amplication
Adjust the amplication dial until a strong signal is achieved. Some
areas won’t require amplication, meaning the adaptor is not
required. Try dierent angles, locations and amplication levels until
a strong signal is achieved for all channels.
2.1.4 Connecting
Connecting the antenna to a TV
1. Connect the antenna cable to the amplier
2. Connect the amplier to the antenna input on your TV
3. Connect the power adaptor to the DC6V socket on amplier
4. Plug the power adaptor into a mains power point and switch the power point on
5. Tune channels as per your TV instruction manual
6. Adjust the amplication dial on the amplier until you achieve the clearest signal
Connecting the antenna to a set top box
1. Connect the antenna cable to the amplier
2. Connect the amplier to the antenna input on your set top box
3. Connect the power adaptor to the DC6V socket on amplier
4. Plug the power adaptor into a mains power point and switch the power point on
5. Tune channels as per your set top box instruction manual
6. Adjust the amplication dial on the amplier until you achieve the clearest signal
TIP: Areas with strong signals may not require the amplier. If you are not receiving a signal,
try unplugging the amplier
2.2 Mounting the Antenna
1. Pick a suitable location where your antenna will be installed, then mark out two dots with a
grey lead pencil 50mm apart. Ensure you have left enough space to plug the antenna into
your TV or set top box. Also ensure your cable is long enough to reach your TV or set top box
2. Drill two holes through the wall 50mm apart. Ensure there is no wiring or pipes in or behind
the wall
3. Insert the screw plugs into the drilled holes then using the Phillips-head screw driver,
screw the provided screws into the screw plugs leaving a 5mm gap between the head of the
screw and the wall
4. If you are using the hook and loop adhesive, please note these are for use when adhering the
antenna to a desk or TV. These are not wall safe. If adhering to TV ensure the antenna is placed
at the rear and not on the screen
WARNING: Ensure there are no cables, wiring or pipes in the wall you are screwing into
NOTE: Please check your antennas service before installation of the mounting bracket to ensure best
service results

Question Solution
Do I have to use the amplier? The power adaptor can improve the signal in
some cases. If you are already receiving a good
signal you do not need to use the amplier.
What can I do to improve my reception? You need to nd the best signal for the
antenna. This can often be achieved by moving
the antenna to face dierent directions or
dierent locations. Also try to adjust the
dipoles and amplier strength.
Follow the guide in section 2.1 Setting up
your Indoor Antenna on page 8 to
maximise the signal received by the antenna.
Why are some channels not appearing on
my TV or set top box?
After connecting the antenna, make sure you
scan for new channels in your TV or set top
box’s channel menu, otherwise they may not
appear when you try to change channels.
Can I use this antenna outdoors? This antenna is designed for indoor use only.
• Move the antenna around to nd the best place for reception in your room
• Never mount the antenna until you have tested the antenna in that location
• Some locations are not suitable for indoor antennas. If you are still having diculty producing
an adequate signal after all steps in this manual have been attempted, a rooftop antenna may
be required
• In regions with very strong reception signals, too much amplication can result in a poor picture.
Plug the antenna directly into your TV/set top box without the amplier to improve the reception

to the Supplier for repair.
Please be aware that if your product is capable of retaining user-generated data (such asles
stored on a computer hard drive, telephone numbers stored on a mobile telephone, songs
stored on a portable media player, games saved on a games console or les stored on a USB
memory stick) during the process of repair, some or all of your stored data may be lost.
We recommend you save this data elsewhere prior to sending the product for repair.
You should also be aware that rather than repairing goods, we may replace them with
refurbished goods of the same type or use refurbished parts in the repair process.
Please be assured though, refurbished parts or replacements are only used where they
meet ALDI’s stringent quality specications.
