GENERAL INFORMATION AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using an electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should be observed, including
the following.
PLEASE READ AND SAVE ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE SONIC
TOOTHBRUSH.
1. Always unplug the charging base after the recharging cycle is complete or if the
unit will be left unattended for long periods of time.
2. DO NOT use while bathing.
3. DO NOT allow the charging base to become wet or damp.
4. DO NOT place or store the charging base in or where it can fall or be pulled into
water or any other liquid.
5. DO NOT reach for the charging base if it has fallen into water or any other liquid.
Unplug immediately.
6. Close supervision is necessary when this product is used by, on, or near children or
invalids.
7. Use this product only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use
attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
8. Never operate this product if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working
properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or if it is dropped in water. Call the
customer service number provided.
9. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
10. DO NOT use this product if you feel drowsy.
11. DO NOT use this product outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are
being used or where oxygen is being administered.
12. NO object(s) should ever be inserted or dropped into any opening on this product.
IMPORTANT MEDICAL SAFEGUARDS
1. Contact your dentist before using the Sonic Toothbrush if you have had oral or
periodontal surgery.
2. Contact your dentist if excessive bleeding occurs or if bleeding continues after the
first week of using the Sonic Toothbrush.
3. If you have questions concerning usage with a pacemaker, Please consult your
physician prior to use.
4. This unit is designed for cleaning teeth and gums only. DO NOT use it for any other
purposes.

ELECTRIC POWER
If electric circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your appliances may not operate
properly. The appliances should be operated on a separate electrical circuit from other
operating appliances.
SAFETY WARNING
Although your appliance is easy to operate, for your safety, the warnings below must be
followed:
1. Do not place the appliance near a heat source.
2. Use the appliance on a stable surface.
3. Do not unplug by pulling on the supply cord.
4. The appliance must be unplugged:
A. Before any cleaning or maintenance.
B. If it appears to be faulty.
3 PRONG PLUG
This Item is supplied with a 3 prong grounding plug.
1. This plug must be used with the proper outlet.
2. NEVER use 3 prong plugs with outlets or extension cords that only have 2 slots for
the plug. Do not remove the ground pin to force a fit. This will defeat the purpose of a 3
prong plug and could lead to an electrical shock

USER INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place the Sonic Toothbrush base on a level and dry surface. Plug the power cord into
a polarized 120V AC wall outlet.
2. Place the handle into the base. The LED charging indicator light will light up on the
handle to indicate the handle is charging. Please note the LED indicator light will stay
on so long as the handle is sitting in the charging base and it is plugged in.
3. It will take approximately 16 hours for a full charge the first time. You may unplug
the charger at that time if you prefer. The charger may stay plugged in but we
recommend that you unplug it if you will be away for an extended period of time, i.e.
vacation.
4. You should fully discharge the handle at least every 6 months in order to maintain
the maximum capacity of the rechargeable batteries. You can achieve this by
unplugging the base and letting the handle run down with normal use.
5. Insert the brush head onto the shaft of the handle. There will be a small space
(1mm) between the brush head and the handle. This allows for a free motion of the
brush head during brushing.
6. Apply toothpaste to the brush head before switching it on.
7. Select the desired speed, (High) H, (Medium) M, (Low) L, by repeatedly pushing the
power button. The speed indicator light will light up with each push and will switch
from H, M, L and then OFF.
8. Move the brush head gently along your teeth and gum line and allow the brush head
to stay on the surface of each tooth for a few seconds with a slight circular motion
for the best cleaning and gum massaging effect.
9. This unit comes with a built in timer that will pulse 3 times at the end of 30 seconds.
This allows you to concentrate on each quadrant of your mouth for 30 seconds with a
total brushing time of 2 minutes. DO NOT forget to reach all areas of your teeth
including the inner and chewing surfaces and behind your back teeth.
10. After 2 minutes the handle will automatically turn off. After use, rinse the brush head
under a tap and wipe the handle dry.
NOTE: When you first use your Sonic Toothbrush you may experience slight bleeding.
This should stop after a few days when your gums get used to the toothbrush. If the
bleeding persists, please consult your dentist or hygienist.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Disconnect the charging base cord from the outlet.
2. DO NOT immerse the base, power cord or plug in water or any other liquids.
3. Brush Heads: After each use, rinse the brush head for several seconds under running
water. You may soak the brush head in denture cleanser every 2 to 4 weeks to keep
it hygienically clean.
4. Charging Base and Handle: Periodically clean the exterior of the handle and charging
base with a soft slightly damp towel or paper towel. Dry thoroughly before plugging
back into the outlet and placing the handle back on the charger.
5. DO NOT wrap the power cord around the charging base.
6. This unit has no serviceable parts, therefore NO altering or servicing should be
performed by any unauthorized representative.
WALL MOUNTING (optional)
This unit can be mounted to the wall if you prefer. It is best to attach it to a stud if
possible. Mounting hardware is not included.

Special Instructions
The Sonic Toothbrush is equipped with a long-lasting rechargeable Nickel-Cadmium
battery. To help protect our environment, it should be removed at the end of the unit’s
life for safe disposal.
THE BATTERY CANNOT BE REPLACED. To remove the battery before discarding the unit:
1. Open the battery cover at the bottom of the handle using a Phillips screwdriver to
remove the screw. Remove the end cap.
2. Remove the Ni-Cd battery. You may need to gently shake the handle to dislodge it.
3. Dispose of the battery in compliance with your local regulations for environmental
protection and recycling of raw materials.
STORING
Store the unit in a dry location. Do not place any heavy items on top of unit during
storage as this may result in possible damage of Sonic Toothbrush.

Cuando se utilizan aparatos eléctricos, siempre deberá seguir las precauciones básicas de
seguridad.
POR FAVOR, LEA Y GUARDE TODAS LAS INSTRUCCIONES ANTES DE USAR EL CEPILLO
DE DIENTES SÓNICO.
1. Siempre desconecte la base del cargador después de que el ciclo de carga se haya
completado o si la unidad estará desatendida por largos periodos de tiempo.
2. NO lo use mientras se baña.
3. NO permita que la base del cargador se moje o humedezca.
4. NO coloque o guarde la base del cargador en o donde pudiera caerse o ser tirado
en el agua o en cualquier otro líquido
5. NO trate de sacar la base del cargador si éste ha caído en agua o en cualquier otro
líquido. Desconéctelo inmediatamente.
6. Es necesario supervisar directamente este producto cuando se utilice junto a, con o
cerca de niños o personas inválidas.
7. Use este producto únicamente para lo que ha sido diseñado según lo descrito en
este manual. No utilice aditamentos que no hayan sido recomendados por el
fabricante.
8. Nunca opere este producto si tiene un cable de alimentación eléctrica o enchufe

2. NUNCA use enchufes de tres (3) clavijas en cables de extensión o tomas de corriente
eléctrica que tengan únicamente dos (2) ranuras para hacer la conexión. No elimine la
clavija de toma de tierra para forzar el ajuste. Esto anularía el propósito del enchufe de
tres (3) clavijas y podría llegar a provocar una descarga eléctrica.

MODO DE EMPLEO
1. Coloque la base del cepillo de dientes sónico sobre una superficie nivelada y seca.
Enchufe el cable de alimentación eléctrica en una toma de corriente eléctrica de
pared polarizada de 120 V AC.
2. Coloque el mango del cepillo sobre la base del cargador. El indicador luminoso de
carga LED se iluminará en el mango para indicar que el mango se está cargando. Por
favor, tome en cuenta que el indicador luminoso LED permanecerá encendido
mientras el mango se encuentre situado en la base del cargador y éste se encuentre
enchufado.
3. Completar la carga la primera vez tomará aproximadamente 16 horas. Si lo prefiere,
puede desenchufar el cargador en ese momento. El cargador puede permanecer
enchufado pero le recomendamos que lo desenchufe si va a estar fuera por un largo
periodo de tiempo, por ejemplo, si se va de vacaciones.
4. Deberá descargar por complete el mango, al menos cada 6 meses, con el fin de
mantener la capacidad máxima de las baterías recargables. Para lograr esto, puede
desconectar la base del cargador y permitir que el mango se vaya descargando con el
uso regular.
5. Inserte el cabezal del cepillo en el eje del mango. Habrá un espacio pequeño (1 mm)
entre el cabezal del cepillo y el mango. Esto permite que el cabezal del cepillo tenga
libertad de movimiento durante el cepillado.
6. Aplique la pasta de dientes sobre el cabezal del cepillo antes de encenderlo.
7. Seleccione la velocidad deseada, alta (H), media (M), baja (L), al presionar
repetidamente el botón de encendido. El indicador luminoso de velocidad se
encenderá cada vez que presione y cambiará de alta (H), a media (M), a baja (L) y
después a APAGADO.
8. Mueva el cabezal del cepillo gentilmente a lo largo de sus dientes y por la línea de las
encías, y permita que el cabezal del cepillo permanezca en la superficie de cada
diente por unos cuantos segundos con un movimiento ligeramente circular, para
lograr una mejor limpieza y un mejor efecto de masaje de encías.
9. Esta unidad viene con un temporizador (cronómetro) incluido, que pulsará tres (3)
veces al final de 30 segundos. Esto le permitirá concentrarse en cada cuadrante de su
boca por 30 segundos para un total de tiempo de cepillado de 2 minutos. NO olvide
cepillar todas las áreas de sus dientes incluyendo las superficies masticatorias y
detrás de sus dientes posteriores (molares).
10. Después de 2 minutos el mango se apagará automáticamente. Una vez que lo haya
usado, enjuague el cabezal del cepillo debajo de la llave del agua y seque el mango
con una toalla.
AVISO: Al usar por primera vez el cepillo de dientes sónico, es posible que ocurra un
ligero sangrado. Esto dejará de suceder después de unos días, cuando sus encías se
hayan acostumbrado al cepillo de dientes. Si el sangrado persiste, por favor consulte a su
dentista o higienista dental.

LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
1. Desconecte el cable de alimentación de la base del cargador de la toma de corriente
eléctrica.
2. NO sumerja la base del cargador, ni el cable de alimentación eléctrica, ni el enchufe,
en agua o en ningún otro líquido.
3. Cabezales de cepillado: después de cada uso, enjuague el cabezal del cepillo por
varios segundos bajo el agua corriente. Puede poner en remojo el cabezal del cepillo
en un limpiador de dentaduras cada 2 a 4 semanas para mantenerlo higiénicamente
limpio.
4. Base del cargador y el mango: periódicamente, limpie el exterior del mango y la base
del cargador con una toalla de papel o una toalla suave, ligeramente mojada.
Séquelos por completo antes de conectar nuevamente el cargador en la toma de
corriente eléctrica y colocar el mango de vuelta en el cargador.
5. NO envuelva el cable de alimentación eléctrica alrededor de la base del cargador.
6. Esta unidad no cuenta con partes que requieran mantenimiento, por lo tanto, NO se
deberá realizar ninguna labor de mantenimiento o alteración por parte de ningún
representante no autorizado.
MONTAJE EN LA PARED (opcional)
Si lo desea, esta unidad puede montarse en la pared. De ser posible, es mejor sujetar la
unidad a un travesaño de la pared. No se incluyen los componentes para el montaje.

El cepillo de dientes sónico está equipado con una batería recargable de larga duración de
níquel-cadmio. Con el fin de ayudar a proteger nuestro medio ambiente, deberá retirar la
batería al final de la vida útil de la unidad, para desecharla de forma segura.
LA BATERÍA NO PUEDE REMPLAZARSE. Para retirar la batería, antes de deshacerse de la
unidad:
1. Abra la tapa de la batería en el extremo del mango utilizando un destornilldor Phillips
para retirar los tornillos. Retire la tapa.
2. Retire la batería de níquel-cadmio. Es posible que requiera agitar gentilmente el mango
para liberarla.
3. Disponga de la batería de acuerdo con las normas de protección ambiental y reciclaje
de materias primas de su área.
Almacenamiento
Guarde la unidad en un lugar seco. No coloque objetos pesados sobre la unidad durante
su almacenamiento, ya que esto podría ocasionar daños al cepillo de dientes sónico.
