CLEANING REUSABLE CLOTH FILTER
To remove the cloth lter for cleaning, remove mounting ring and lter
from the lid cage. To clean reusable cloth lter, shake o excess dirt and
dust or (depending on the condition of lter) rinse with water. Allow the
lter to dry completely and re-install.
DO NOT MACHINE WASH OR DRY.
CLEANING FOAM FILTER
The foam lter should be cleaned periodically as described in the following
steps:
1. Always disconnect the plug from the car receptacle before removing
the power head. Place power head in an upside down position.
Remove foam lter by taking o the mounting ring then sliding the
lter up and o the lid cage.
2. Shake excess dust o foam lter with a rapid up and down movement.
3. Hold foam under running water for a minute or two, rinsing from
the inside. A water wash is not always required, depending on the
condition of the foam lter.
4. Gently wring out excess water, blot foam with a clean towel, and allow
drying. The foam lter is now ready to re-install.
NOTE:
Wet pick-up accessories should be washed periodically, especially after
picking up wet, sticky liquids. This can be done using a warm solution of
soap and water.
STORAGE
Before storing your vacuum the tank should be emptied and cleaned.
The power cord can be wound around the housing of the unit for
convenience. The unit and lters should be completely dry.
WARNING! KEEP FILTER CLEAN
Eciency of the vacuum is largely dependent on the lter. A clogged
lter can cause overheating and possibly damage the cleaner. Check the
lter periodically and replace as required.
