IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. To protect against electrical hazards, do not immerse cord, plug, or
unit in water or other liquid.
2. Close supervision is necessary when used by or near children.
3. Unplug unit when not in use.
4. Do not operate if cord is damaged; inspect cord regularly.
5. Do not use unit for applications other than its intended use.
6. Never use AC current to power this unit.
7. Use this appliance with your engine on to avoid draining your
battery (never leave engine running in an enclosed or poorly
ventilated place).
8. Unplug unit when nished.
BEFORE USING
Make sure the latches of the top are locked and secured to the canister
and insert hose end without the cu into the intake opening.

NOTE:
Ensure that the mounting ring is completely secure and in position
by pushing down rmly around the ring in several places. Be sure the
reusable cloth lter completely covers the foam lter. Also check to
ensure that all edges of the reusable cloth lter are secure under the
mounting ring.

ASSEMBLY
WARNING
Always disconnect the plug from the car outlet before removing the
tank cover.
Install both foam lter and reusable cloth lter to pick up dust and dry
material only. If the foam lter has been used to pick up liquids, the foam
lter must be cleaned and dried before installing for dry pick-up.

Your AutoXS Wet/Dry Car Vacuum may be emptied of liquid waste by
removing the power head. To empty, stop the motor and remove the
plug from the car receptacle. Remove the power head and deposit the
liquid waste contents in a suitable drain. After the tank is empty, return
the cover to its original position.

AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF
The cleaner is equipped with an automatic shut-o that operates when
picking up liquids. As the level of the liquid rises, an internal oat rises
until it seats itself against a seal at the intake of the motor, shutting o
suction. When this happens, the motor will develop a higher than normal
pitch noise. Before continuing use, empty the liquid waste from the tank
as outlined in the previous paragraph.
NOTE:
If accidentally tipped over, the vacuum could close suction. If this occurs,
place vac in upright position and turn switch OFF. This will allow the
oat to return to its normal position, and you will be able to continue
operation.
WET PICK-UP OPERATION
This cleaner requires only a minimum conversion when going from dry to
wet pick-up. Remove the cloth lter. The foam lter must be positioned
over the lid cage while vacuuming liquids. Do not use the reusable cloth
lter for wet pick-up. When picking up several tanks full of liquid, the foam
lter will become saturated and misting may appear in the exhaust air. At
this time, you should dry the foam lter or change to a dry foam lter to
eliminate the misting and possible dripping of liquid around the lid. After
completing a wet pick-up job, raise the hose to drain any excess liquid into
the tank before shutting o. The interior of the tank should be periodically
cleaned.

CLEANING REUSABLE CLOTH FILTER
To remove the cloth lter for cleaning, remove mounting ring and lter
from the lid cage. To clean reusable cloth lter, shake o excess dirt and
dust or (depending on the condition of lter) rinse with water. Allow the
lter to dry completely and re-install.
DO NOT MACHINE WASH OR DRY.
CLEANING FOAM FILTER
The foam lter should be cleaned periodically as described in the following
steps:
1. Always disconnect the plug from the car receptacle before removing
the power head. Place power head in an upside down position.
Remove foam lter by taking o the mounting ring then sliding the
lter up and o the lid cage.
2. Shake excess dust o foam lter with a rapid up and down movement.
3. Hold foam under running water for a minute or two, rinsing from
the inside. A water wash is not always required, depending on the
condition of the foam lter.
4. Gently wring out excess water, blot foam with a clean towel, and allow
drying. The foam lter is now ready to re-install.
NOTE:
Wet pick-up accessories should be washed periodically, especially after
picking up wet, sticky liquids. This can be done using a warm solution of
soap and water.
STORAGE
Before storing your vacuum the tank should be emptied and cleaned.
The power cord can be wound around the housing of the unit for
convenience. The unit and lters should be completely dry.
WARNING! KEEP FILTER CLEAN
Eciency of the vacuum is largely dependent on the lter. A clogged
lter can cause overheating and possibly damage the cleaner. Check the
lter periodically and replace as required.

INSTRUCCIONES IMPORTANTES DE
SEGURIDAD
1. Para protegerse contra los riesgos eléctricos, no sumerja el cable, el
enchufe ni la unidad en agua u otro líquido.
2. Se requiere una atenta supervisión cuando es usada por niños o
cerca de estos.
3. Desenchufe la unidad cuando no está en uso.
4. No la ponga en funcionamiento si el cable está dañado; inspeccione
el cable periódicamente.
5. No utilice la unidad para aplicaciones que dieran de su uso
indicado.
6. Nunca use corriente alterna (CA) para alimentar a esta unidad.
7. Utilice este aparato con el motor del automóvil en marcha para evitar
agotar la batería (nunca deje el motor en marcha en un lugar cerrado
o mal ventilado).
8. Desenchufe la unidad cuando haya terminado.
ANTES DE USAR

NOTA:
Asegúrese de que el aro de montaje está completamente seguro y
en posición empujando hacia abajo con rmeza alrededor del aro
en varios lugares. Asegúrese de que el ltro reutilizable de tela cubre
completamente al ltro de espuma. También revise para asegurarse de

El líquido de desecho se puede vaciar de su aspiradora AutoXS de
automóvil para líquidos y sólidos extrayendo el cabezal de potencia. Para
vaciarlo, detenga el motor y quite el enchufe de la toma de corriente
del automóvil. Extraiga el cabezal de potencia y deposite el líquido de
desecho en un desagüe adecuado. Después de que el tanque está vacío,
retorne la tapa a su posición original.
DESCONEXIÓN AUTOMÁTICA
La aspiradora está equipada con una desconexión automática que
funciona al recoger líquidos. A medida que el nivel del líquido se eleva, un
otador interno se va elevando hasta que se asienta contra una junta en
la admisión del motor, cerrando la succión. Cuando esto sucede, el motor
emitirá un ruido de tono más elevado que lo normal. Antes de proseguir
usándola, vacíe el líquido del tanque como se indicó en el párrafo
anterior.
NOTA:
Si la aspiradora se inclina o cae accidentalmente podría cerrarse la
succión. Si esto ocurre, coloque la aspiradora en posición vertical y gire
el interruptor a la posición OFF (Apagado). Esto permitirá que el otador
vuelva a su posición normal, y usted podrá continuar con la operación.
OPERACIÓN DE RECOGIDA DE LÍQUIDOS
Esta aspiradora sólo requiere un mínimo de conversión para pasar de la recogida
en seco a la recogida de líquidos. Extraiga el filtro de tela. El filtro de espuma debe
colocarse sobre la cubierta de la jaula mientras se aspiran líquidos. No utilice el
filtro reutilizable de tela para recoger líquidos. Al recoger varios tanques llenos
de líquido, el filtro de espuma se saturará y podrá aparecer neblina en el aire de
salida. En este momento, debe secar el filtro de espuma o cambiar a un filtro de
espuma seco para eliminar la neblina y el posible goteo del líquido alrededor de
la tapa. Después de terminar la recogida de los líquidos, levante la manguera para
drenar el exceso de líquido hacia el interior del tanque antes de apagar el equipo. El
interior del tanque debe limpiarse periódicamente.

LIMPIEZA DEL FILTRO REUTILIZABLE DE
TELA
Para quitar el ltro de tela para limpiarlo, extraiga el aro de montaje y el
ltro de la cubierta de la jaula. Para limpiar el ltro reutilizable de tela,
sacuda el exceso de suciedad y polvo o (dependiendo de la condición del
ltro) enjuáguelo con agua. Deje que el ltro se seque por completo y
vuelva a instalarlo.
NO LAVAR NI SECAR A MÁQUINA.
LIMPIEZA DEL FILTRO DE ESPUMA
El ltro de espuma se debe limpiar periódicamente como se describe en los
siguientes pasos:
1. Siempre desconecte el enchufe de la toma de corriente del automóvil antes
de retirar el cabezal de potencia. Coloque el cabezal de potencia en posición
invertida. Extraiga el ltro de espuma, quitando el aro de montaje y luego
deslice el ltro hacia arriba y afuera de la cubierta de la jaula.
2. Sacuda el exceso de polvo del ltro de espuma con un rápido movimiento
ascendente y descendente.
3. Mantenga el ltro de espuma bajo el agua del grifo durante un minuto o dos,
enjuagando desde el interior. No siempre se requiere lavarlo con agua, sino
que dependerá del estado en que se encuentre.
4. Escurrir con delicadeza el exceso de agua, secarlo con una toalla limpia y dejar
que se seque. El ltro de espuma está listo ahora para volverse a instalar.
NOTA:
Los accesorios para la recogida de líquidos se deben lavar periódicamente,
especialmente después de recoger líquidos pegajosos. Esto se puede hacer
usando una solución de agua caliente y jabón.
ALMACENAMIENTO
Antes de guardar la aspiradora se debe vaciar y limpiar el tanque. El
cable de alimentación se puede enrollar alrededor de la carcasa de
la unidad para mayor comodidad. La unidad y los ltros deben estar
completamente secos.
¡ADVERTENCIA! MANTENGA EL
FILTRO LIMPIO
La eciencia de la aspiradora depende en gran medida del ltro. Un ltro
obstruido puede causar sobrecalentamiento y posiblemente dañar la
máquina. Compruebe el ltro periódicamente y reemplácelo según sea
necesario.
