Cleaning and Laundering
• For general cleaning and superficial dirt,
use a disposable wipe with a solution of
warm water and neutral detergent. Do not
use abrasive or phenolic-based cleaners.
• To disinfect in situ, use a 0.1% sodium
hypochlorite solution (1,000 ppm
chlorine). Removable, contaminated
covers should be laundered at 65°C for
not less than 10 minutes or at 95°C for
not less than 3 minutes.
• Frequent or prolonged exposure to higher
concentration disinfectant solutions may
prematurely age the fabric of the cover.
• Do not mangle or iron.
• Spin and tumble-dry at not more than
60°C.
• Thoroughly rinse and dry the cover before
re-use or storage.
• Store in a cool dry area.
Storage & Care
• Store the mattress flat – do not fold
• Do not place heavy objects on the
mattress surface when not in use
• Do not allow sharp objects to penetrate
the cover coating
• Keep the mattress clean
• Regularly inspect the interior and exterior
of the mattress
• Do not store in damp conditions
• To aid storage and handling this Sensaflex
3000 mattress may be compact
rolled. Whilst this does not affect the
performance and lifespan of the mattress,
the mattress should be unrolled within 21
days of receipt.
• When removing packaging use great care
to ensure the cover is not damaged.
• This mattress can be used four hours after
unrolling. However, it may take longer
before the mattress is fully restored to its
original shape.
• Please ensure that once unrolled the
cover seams sit correctly to the edges of
the foam mattress and that the zip is fully
closed before use. Some seam slippage
may occur in the rolling process but can
easily be re aligned over the mattress
core.
• Some degree of creasing may occur to
the mattress cover, this is a normal result
of the rolling process and cannot be
avoided.
The packaging of this mattress is sealed
prior to despatch and the mattress itself will
be clean prior to closure. If the mattress has
become exposed or damaged during transit,
