
About the Algo 1205 Audio Interface
The 1205 Audio Interface provide a method for connecting a mu ic ource and live
microphone to the Algo 8301 Paging Adapter for multica t broadca t over the network to
IP peaker or IP enabled legacy paging y tem .
The rotary control knob ha three po ition (mu ic, microphone and off). The 8301 will
automatically detect the control knob po ition to tart multica t for either the microphone
or mu ic input a elected, or top multica t in the off tate.
The mu ic input u e a 3.5mm tereo input jack compatible with AppleTM iPodTM and other
ource . Left and right tereo channel are combined into a balanced mono ignal
compatible with public addre infra tructure. The mu ic volume i adju ted by both the
Audio Input Volume etting in the web interface of the 8301 and manual adju tment of the
ource level.
The microphone input u e an XLR connector compatible with dynamic microphone uch
a the Sennhei erTM E835 and imilar microphone that do not require phantom power.

Getting Started – uick Install & Test
This guide provides important safety information which should be read thoroughly
before permanently installing the product.
1. In tall the 8301 Paging Adapter & Scheduler by following it in tallation guide. Available
online from www.algo olution .com/8 301/ guide
2. Connect the 1205 Audio Interface to the 8301. See the diagram provided in the next
ection of thi heet.
3. Acce the 8301 web page by entering it IP addre into a brow er (Chrome, Firefox
etc) and log in. The IP addre can be found u ing the Algo Device Locator Tool or
momentarily pre ing the RESET button with head et connected.
4. Select ‘Algo 1205 Audio Interface’ or ‘Algo 1205 Audio Interface Switch with Supervi ion’
under the Additional Features > Input/Output tab and click ‘Save’.
