GENERAL INFORMATION
Thismanualprovides Information necessarytooperatetheSchucoModelS6000
50PSICompressor.This unit isdesignedforefficient,continuoushighpressure
performance.TheModelS6000Compressorprovideshighpressure,whichclinical
studieshaveIndicatedarerequiredforoptimalparticlesize(2micronsorless)during
nebulizationtreatments.
The unit operatesquietlyandeffectivelyduetotheuniquedesign ofthe WOBLpiston.
This unit operatesusingstandard120VACcurrent,ItIseasytoclean,verylow
maintenance,compact, light-weight, andportable.The unit Isdesignedforusewith:
-Compatible with hand-heldnebulizersystems.
-Heatednebulizers.
-Dualactionhumidifier/nebulizers.
-Pediatric mist tents.
-Child/adult misttents.
-High output pneumaticnebulizers.
-Deluxenebulizers with oxygendiluters.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
INITIAL SETUPAND INSTALLATION
1.Selecta suitablelocationforthe unit neara120VAC, 15Ampere, poweroutlet.
2. Grasphandleontopofcabinetandpositionthe unit so that operatingcontrolsare
Accessible totheuserandbackof unit isatleast6 inchesawayfromwall.
3. IVIakecertain that thepowerswitchlocatedinthecenterofthecontrolpanelisinthe
OFF position(Figure1)andplugpowercord into groundedpower outlet orgrounded
adapter.
4. Ifdesired,attachtheL BrackettotheCompressedAirOutletasshowninFigure1 to
enabletheuseofa humidifierbottle.TheL Bracketislocatedinsidetheremovable
protectivecoverofthecompressor.
5. Becertain that allconnectionsto outlet (i.e.tubing,nebulizers,etc.)aresnugandnot
leakingaerosol.
6.Whenusedinconjunction with misttents,etc.,placethe unit outsideofthe tent and
positionthe unit ata levelbelowthedischargeendofthedeliverytubing.
OPERATION
1. Press thePowerOn/OffswitchtoONposition (figure 1).
2. Connecttheequipmentyouintendtouse with theSchucoIVIodelS6000compressor
andthenadjustthepressure that the unit isdeliveringbyadjustingtheregulator (figure 1)
as follows:
a. Pullregulatorknobouttounlocktheregulatorpressureadjustmentknob.
b.Turnthedialofregulatortothedesired pressure,
-clockwise toincreasepressure
-counter-clockwise todecreasepressure
c. Push theknobtowardsthe unit tolocktheregulatorpressureadjustmentknob.
d. Observethepressuregauge- repeatstepsa throughc abovetoadjustupordown
todesired output pressure.

ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
REMOVINGANDCLEANING/REPLACINGTHEFILTERS
Pull theairintake filter outfromthe front ofthe unit (figure^Xaridreplace with newone
whendirty.Donotwashit.ReplacementAirFilter Par(#S66-012^(Pack of5)
CLEANINGTHECOMPRESSOR HOUSING Q&OOO -
The compressorhousingmaybecleaned(afterthe unit isunplugged)bywipingthe
unit down with a dampclothorcleaningwipecontaininghouseholdcleaneror
disinfectant.Donotsprayordripanyliquidsdirectlyontothecompressor.

warrant thatthecompressor unit and itsparts will befree from defects in workmanship and materials fora period of
one(I) year from thedateof original retail pmchase. This warranty does notextendtofailures resultuig from
accident,misuse,abnse,alteration,use of miauthorized service,parts or cleaningsolutions, or failure tocomplywith
User's Manual.
If tlie warranted equipment should fail during the warranty period, Allied, at their option, will repair or replaceparts
at issue, provided tlie claun is bona fide. It shall be tlie responsibility of tlie pmchaser to pack and return the
equipmentin a mamier to avoidsliippingdamage.Thesliipmentmustbe prepaid tous. This warranty coversthe cost
of labor incurred in tlie removal or replacementof tlie warranted component parts at Allied only. TIIEREARENO
