ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
MOBILE ADMIN/TEACHER DESK
Your desk base arrives in multiple cartons, labeled as:
MDPED - One fully assembled drawer unit*
M-PANEL - One modesty panel (inc. screws)
MD-LEG - One leg assembly (inc. screws)
The Desk Top will also be its own carton. Please
flatten and retain this carton for final assembly.
*Dual Pedestal: Desk will have two MDPED
units and no MD-LEG.
Verify that you have all pieces including hardware:
10) 1/2” Pan-head philips head screws
4) M6 Truss-head screws
4) M6 Nyloc nuts
2) 3/8” Wood screws (not used)
1) 10mm Offset wrench
Step 1.
Determine if you want the drawers on the Left or
Right hand side. Remove the knock-out tabs on the
inward facing side.
*Dual Pedestal: remove knock-outs from both
MDPED units on inward facing sides.
Remove top two drawers from the pedestal
unit(s). Pull drawer out and lift the release latches.
Step 2.
Attach the Modesty Panel to the Leg unit using two
(2) M6 Truss Head screws.
*Dual Pedestal: Proceed to Step 3.
Step 3.
Attach this assembly to the MDPED Drawer Pedestal
using two (2) M6 screws and two (2) Nyloc nuts.
You will need to use the included wrench to hold
the Nyloc nuts inside the MDPED unit.

Step 4.
Use the 10mm Offset Wrench when tightening the
Modesty Panel Screws. The Nyloc nuts are easier to
locate and hold from above. The lower nut location is
partially obscured by the middle drawer glide.
The offset wrench makes it easier to hold the nuts
securely while tightening the screws.
Step 5.
Carefully lay the Desk Top face-down on the
flattened carton. With a helper, place the assembled
base topside-down, aligning holes with the
pre-threaded Inserts in the Desk Top.
Rotate the assembly until the holes are properly
aligned for your left or right drawer configuration.

*Dual Pedestal: The top aligns in either direction.
Use ten (10) 1/2” Pan-head screws to attach the base
assembly to the desk top. Ensure that all screws
thread smoothly into the Inserts before tightening.
Note: The mounting holes in the back of the pedestal
can only be accessed with the drawers removed.
Step 6.
With a helper, turn the completed desk right side up
and replace the drawers.
Disengage the caster locks when moving the desk.
Re-engage to secure the desk in place.
