Installation Prerequisite
Connect Directly to an Electric Lock
Fail Safe Lock
There is normally a current ßowing through the relay on the Fail Safe lock. When the relay is
activated, the current ßown is blocked, and the door lock will open. If the power supply is cut o"
due to a power failure or an external factor, the door will remain open.

Connect the two NC wires together to the + wire
on the lock. !
Connect the two COM (Brown/Red) wires to the
+ wire on the power source.!
Connect the - negative wire from the power
source to the - negative on the lock.!
Each wire supports up to 1A, connecting
together will allow for up to 2A current to ßow.
