DVA-5205P or DHA-S680P Setup
Some factory settings of DVA-5205P or DHA-S680P may not be compatible wit your system
configuration. If you ave no Audio after installing DVA-5205P from any source like CD-
C anger please follow t e setup instructions "Custom Setup".
To go to t e DVA-5205P or DHA-S680P setup Menu, follow t e following procedure:
Play a video in t e DVA-5205P or DHA-
S680P and be sure t at you can
control it by t e remote controller
RUE-4168
Press STOP on t e RUE-4168.
A PRE-STOP will appear on t e
screen.
Press again STOP and a STOP will
appear on t e screen.
Press and old t e MENU / SET key
on t e remote control until t e main
setup menu will appear on t e screen.
Main Setup screen
You can click directly on t e screen
on t e rig t to go to t e menu point
description.
Language selection

In t e languages menu, you can Pre-
define your preferred languages for
Audio, Subtitle and Menu of any
inserted DVD.
T is function is not supported by all
DVD's.
Video output mode (4:3 / 16:9)
Select LETTERBOX w en connected
to a conventional 4:3 size monitor.
T ere may be black stripes visible at
t e top and bottom of t e screen.
Select PAN-SCAN w en connected to
a conventional 4:3 size monitor. T e
picture will fill t e entire TV screen.
However, due to t e mismatc in
aspect ratio, parts of t e movie at t e
extreme left and rig t sides will not be
visible.
Select 16:9 if t e DVA-5205P or DHA-
S680P is connected to a 16:9 Monitor
suc as IVA-C800R or TME-M750.
Parental Locking
You s ould not try to switc t e
country code of your DVA-5205P or
DHA-S680P. T is Country code is only
for t e function "Rating Level".

DVD-Audio down sampling
ON:
T e digital signals recorded on t e
Audio DVD disc wit 96 kHz/24bit, 48
kHz/24bit, 48kHz/20bit sampling are
converted into digital signals wit
48kHz/16bits sampling for output from
t e optical cable. Set to ON at time of
s ipment from factory.
OFF:
T e digital signals recorded on t e
DVD disc wit 96 kHz/24bit, 48
kHz/24bit, 48kHz/20bit sampling are
not converted into digital signals wit
48 kHz/16bits sampling. T ey are not
output from t e optical cable.
Audio out wit non-Dolby Digital Processor

AUTO:
T e digital output is switc ed
automatically according to t e type of
audio signals being
played. Be sure to select “AUTO”
w en you want to connect a digital
audio processor and play Dolby
Digital audio. “AUTO” is selected
upon s ipment from t e factory.
LPCM:
T e audio signals recorded on t e
disc are converted into 44,1 kHz/16 bit
linear PCM audio signals for output.
Select LPCM w en you want to
connect ot er processors t an PXA-
H510 or PXA-H900.
Led Indicator
ON:
T e LED indicators are lit, indicating
t e product’s operating status. “ON”
is selected upon s ipment from t e
factory.
OFF:
T e LED indicators are turned off.
W en “OFF” is set, t e indicators do
not lig t even w en t e power is on.
Custom Setup / Closed Caption
DVD includes so-called “closed
captions” w ic describe t e scene to
persons wit impaired earing. It is
possible to turn t e closed captions
ON and OFF.
ON:
Displays t e closed captions.
OFF:
Does not display t e closed captions.
Set to OFF at time of s ipment from
factory.
Custom Setup / AI-Net Setup
DVD:
Set to “DVD” w en connected to t e
CVA-1005R/ IVA-M700R/ IVA-C800R/
CDA-7990R/ CDA-7969R.
Operations can be performed using
t e CVA-1005R/ IVA-M700R/ IVA-
C800R’s main menu screen, or t e
CD-Tuner's keys. “DVD” is selected
upon s ipment from t e factory.
CD:
Set to “CD” w en connected to an Ai-
NET product ( ead unit) ot er t an
t e above (for ex.: CVA-1000R).
Operations can partly be performed
from t e ead unit.
Custom Setup / H.U. Control

ON:
Possible to operate from an full Ai-
NET compatible ead unit or an Ai-
NET compatible AV ead unit (CDA-
7990R/ CDA-7969R/ CVA-1005R/ IVA-
M700R/ IVA-C800R).
OFF:
Not possible to operate from an Ai-
NET compatible ead unit or an Ai-
NET compatible AV ead unit. Set to
OFF at time of s ipment from factory.
Switc between NTSC and PAL
If you see t is picture w en you insert
a DVD in t e DVA-5205P or DHA-
S680P you are inserting eit er a NTSC
DVD or t e DVD-Player is currently set
to NTSC. You can switc between
NTSC and PAL by olding t e power
button of t e Remote controller.
Of course you can not c ange t e
regional code of DVA-5205P or DHA-
S680P.
