the temperature of supply air Ts (supply)
the symbol of heater (option)
the symbol and temp. of GHE Tg
(icon) current fan speed
(icon) info mode (icon) config mode
All basic parameters of heat exchanger’s panel are shown on the screen. Apart from that there are information and alarm prompts
show In this mode. It is described in another part. Some symbols and values are presented only if particular option is on. It
concerns the symbol of heater, GHE and temperature.
Main screen has got 3 active buttons. Pressing them we activate the following functions:
– manual set of rotation §2 (in english ver. icon name is "rot" – shortphrase of rotation)
– displaying the shortened information about current configurations sets, §3
– switching to controller’s configuration mode, §4
2. Manual setting the fan speed
Pressing the symbol allows to manual change of rotation’s value, but different then it appears from the schedule. In the
bottom part of the screen (next to i
ii
isymbol) two extra symbols (-) and (+) appear which allow to change the rotations. There are four
options to be choosen:
a. STOP, fans can be stopped.
b. STANDBY, fans work in minimum rotation (speed = 1). This mode has got the factory settings, so after power off
situation or reset the controller still works with those factory settings.
c. 1÷ 5the maximum rotation's value depends on "ventilators/motors configurations" AC or EC
d. Areturn to automatic mode (according to schedule)
If the value is set "manually", there is an extra symbol (*) next to value displayed on the screen
Manual rotation setting is active till the user switches the mode according to the schedule or till the power off and the controller's
reboot. It doesn't concern the "STANDBY" mode which is permanent.

3. Information about settings
Pressing the symbol displays the table with Basic information about the controller settings
The next pressing the symbol (i
ii
i) causes displaying the recorded temperatures from the last week.
The next pressing the symbol (i
ii
i) turns off the information table or it occurs automatically after ~30 seconds
4. The controller configurations
The icon allows to switch to the configuration mode. The main menu screen is changed for a table with icons showing the
particular functions.
The edition of particular parameter starts while one is pressing the proper icon. In the middle of the screen the table with the
parameters appears, they can be changed. During the edition in the bottom part of the table there is a short description displayed
(yellow font) for the every parameter. To change the parameter there are following functions:
"escape" – the same function as the Esc computer button
"the minus value" – decreasing the value of the edited parameter
"the plus value" – increasing the value of the edited parameter
"approve" – beginning the edition and approval of changes
ATTENTION: some of the icons can be inactive (the grey color). It depends on the type of the software or another controller's
configurations, for ex. if the AC fan is chosen, the rotation speed and difference pressure icons are automatically blocked. These
icons are used with EC type fans.
CLOCK – setting the current time and data. After choosing the clock icon, the table with current time and data appear.
Edition can be started after pressing the "approval" button icon. The day of week is flashing. The change can be made
with the (-) and (+) buttons. The approval of the change should be made with "approval" button, which simultaneously
activates the edition of the next parameter – the time. The change and approval is set in the same way. After
approving the changes, the screen displays all main menu icons.

GHE – the configuration of the Ground Heat Exchanger. The edition is the same as for clock case.
•config : OFF - total turning valve GHE off. The air always taken from the external inlet
•config : ON - the valve is always turned on for taking the air from GHE regardless of temperatures
•config : AUTO – the valve is controlled basing on the temperatures measurementsTo and Tg and Comfort settings
•config : AUTO R – the same as above with the additional option of GHE regeneration
•comfort : HEATING – selecting warmer power source with the air (usually autumn, winter)
•comfort : COOLING – selecting cooler power (usually spring, summer)
•comfort : TEMP To – automatic work depends on outside temperature
BYPASS – the configuration of bypass. Edition is the same as other functions before.
•config : OFF - total turning the bypass valve off. The air always comes through the exchanger
•config : ON - the valve is always on. The air always bypasses the exchanger.
•config : AUTO – the valve is controlled basing on the temperatures measurements. Te, To, Tg
•Tout > …°C - to turn the bypass on, the power temperature Has to be above that value – it is the air temperature of
the external inlet sensor or GHE sensor, depending on the previous setting mode. The range of the setting is [5÷20°C]
•Textr >…°C – as above, the extract air from the room must be bigger than that value. The range is [15÷30°C]
DIGITAL INPUT (CFG) – controller has an input, market on the relay board as WE5. To this input we can connect Any
floating switch such as a relay output of fire protection system, alarm, etc… This option lets you determine how controller should
respond to the appearance of the signal in input. Mode's changes, as in the previous edition. You can choose one out of seven (the
last one is reserved for the water heater HW protection).
•mode 1 – Inactive. Controller does not respond to this input signal.
•mode 2 – High Vent, fans = MAX. The option can be used for short-term switch to maximum speed for the intensive
ventilation of rooms such as kitchen, bathroom... To control in this mode you should use monostable switch such as
bell switch type. Pressing the switch will cause that controller sets fans to maximum speed for 30 minutes. After this
time the controller will return to normal operation. If you press the switch again during this operation it will cause the
break of the procedure and earlier return to normal mode.
•mode 3 – Fire protection, fan SUPL=STOP fan EXH=MAX. This mode is intended to cooperate with the fire
protection instalation. When the signal is on WE5 the controller turns off supply air fan and exhaust fan switches to the
maximum speed until the signal from a fire protect. system does not change state.
•mode 4 – Stand by, fans = MIN. Configuration that can work with home alarm (security) systems. Arming the alarm
system during the absence of occupants, make controller go into the minimum air exchange.
SCHEDULE – this option allows to programme various ventilator' speeds, suitably for the individuals' needs. In this way for
the every hours of any other day there are various speeds' values. After selecting the "schedule" icon, the controller changes the
main menu screen for the table consisting of graphic presentation of particular configuration. The current value in accordance with
the data and time is highlighted in green. Edition is the same as for the clock. During the edition the values are changed for the
yellow colour.
FAN SPEED – [they are a active only for EC fans] Function allows to ascribe particular speeds to particular gears of
ventilation. Given values [%] match the value of output voltage. The range of permissible values is 10% ÷ 100%. Nevertheless, one
has to remember that 0-10% value is considered as a STOP. So that the general range is bigger than that. During selecting
particular speeds, the controller automatically controls in the way that setting the gear with the bigger number has got bigger
percentage than previous one. The edition is the same as above.
•mode 5 – PRESOSTAT If the recuperator is equipped with a pressure switch which measures the pressure drop
across the filters, the contacts can be connected to this input. This will provide a maximum information about usage
degree of filters.
•mode 6 – SPEED++ humidistat It can be connected to WE5. After exceeding a certain value of humidity, the
controller will increase fan speed by one degree. If the humidistat continues giving a signal after about 20 minutes the
controller automatically will increase fan speed for the next step. This will remain until the signal disappears from
humidistat or if will remain max speed.
•mode 7 – Thermostat protection against heater damage

AIR DISTRIB. – [they are a active only for EC fans] Difference between intake air and extract air creates high pressure or
underpressure in rooms. Generally installation supplying the air from the external inlet has got different resistances than power
installation of exchanger GHE. So that it is possible to correct the pressure for the external inlet and exchanger GHE in the
controller. To do some corrections in external input probe one should turn off the GHE at first. Later go to the "CORRECT.." option.
In window the high pressure sign ∆pout should be visible. It means that correction is related to external input. In the right column
there are particular rotation's deviation from the nominal value, measured in [%]. Positive values stands for work with high pressure
and negative ones the underpressure. The values of all corrections can be changed in range of -10% ÷ +25%. During the correction
controller automatically change the gears matching them to the current corrected value allowing to current pressure measurement.
Correction for GHE is made in same way. One has got to the GHE setting and set it for ON. Again, one need to go back to the
CORRECT… option Now in the window there is visible the following sign ∆pghe - standing for the GHE mode of correction. Edition
is the same as above.
MOTORS – type of the motors, which are mounted in recuperator. Option available:
•Type : AC - motors powered by 230VAC
•Type : EC - motors powered by 230VAC but controlled by 0÷10VDC signal
•Speed number : [1÷5] – number of speeds (gears) For EC fans it can be taken 5 value and for AC fans it depends on
their construction.
DEFROST – configuration procedures for protection against freezing of the heat exchanger.
•Mode: OFF – the procedure is totally off and system doesn't react for any signal. This solution can be use in case that
the recuperator is provided with internal defrosting system, for ex. supply air ventilator is powered by pressostat switch
or when the manufacturer of recuperator gives a guarantee that this doesn't frost.
•Tout < [-1°to -15°C] – Below that temperature the frost process can occur
•Preheater P/N [-3°to -7°C] – the temperature of operating the preheater as a frost protection. Relay connector
marked (A-B) can be used to direct switching of preheater. The maximum power that can be connected directly
cannot exeed 0.8kW. In case of bigger power you should use external relay. For such a operation one need to choose
Preheater P …. (active relay turn the heater on) In case of using the heater with thiristor / triack controller for. ex.
ENO.T one need to select the Preheater N …. (active relay turn the heater off)
For measurment of the air temperature behind the preheater we use GHE sensor (Tg).
BACKLIGHT – controller is provided with backlight display LCD. The intensity can be set by user.
•Config : CONST or AUTO – in AUTO option after turning the backlight off the short pressing screen / touch pad
causes its rebooting.
•Level: [0 ÷ 100%] – the value of backlight intensity
HEATER – the controller can drive heater using 0-10VDC signal with PI algorithm.
•Config : OFF or HE or HW – it can be selected what type of the heater (electric HE or water HW) has to operated by
controller. In case of water heater the frost protection procedure can open valve totally. To input WE5 one needs to
connect the thermostat's connectors protecting the heater.
>> Controller settings PI <<
•Kp – [1÷100%] its a gain factor of the proportional part
•Ti – [10÷990s] its a integration time
•TU: [15 ÷ 50°C] the temperature which should be maintained by heater Sensor Ts (supply air) should be installed
behind the heater

5. Alarm and information messages
The display has got a special field (next to data and time) where there is shown the information or alarm messages.
FILTERS INSPECT. – this message is displayed every 6 months. This information will be cancelled after pressing icon,
confirming message receipt.
CONNECT. ERROR – this is high level alarm message, informing us that the control panel (display TFT) can not be connected
to the relay module. Possible reason are:
- the communication wire can be damaged
- improper connection in the relay or TFT panel
- damage of relay panel's controller
SENSOR ERROR - the system signals the temperature sensor's damage. According which sensor is out of order the
sign
ERROR
should appear on the place where normally temperature data are displayed. If there are
more broken sensors, the other signs are to be displayed simultaneously.
PRESSOST. ERROR - if the controller is configured to co-work with pressostat in frost protection and system detects the signal
in spite of the fact that temperature is above 0°C (no possibility frosting) so that situation can occur when
pressostat is damage or exchanger is dirty. One is obligated to control the pressostat and condition of
exchanger.

6. Installing / dismantling the controller
a. TFT panel
•Ensure that the power is turned off !
•Cable for connecting the controller should be derived from the wall – preferably, it is mounted in a typical box as
electrical equipment (power sockets, switches .... etc.)
•Next, drill two holes in the wall for wall plugs, symmetrically to the can. These holes should be done horizontally with
ce of 89mm.
