IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
• NOTE: This appliance needs to be burnt for 10 minutes
before rst use, to eliminate material odour.
• Please read these instructions carefully before using your
butane oven.
• The operator must understand all safety requirements as
detailed in this manual before using the unit.
• The operator is responsible for the safety of all third parties
while the butane oven is in use.
• The manufacturer’s warranty may be voided by incorrect
use of this product.
• If you have any queries regarding these instructions, contact
your local dealer for clarication before you use your oven.
• Always remove unit from all packaging materials prior to
use.
• The unit must be thoroughly checked before use. Check
that the seals between the appliance and the gas cartridge
are in place and in good condition before connecting the
gas cartridge. DO NOT use this appliance if it has damaged
or worn seals. Tweezers can be used to pull the damaged/
worn seal out and replace it with a new seal or call 086 100

• The unit must only be used on a at horizontal, stable, non-
slip and non-combustible surface..
• Ensure that all butane ttings are correctly and rmly tted.
Do this check every time before use.
• DO NOT store ammable materials near the oven.
• DO NOT place or use aerosol sprays near the oven.
• Use only the gas type specied on the nameplate of the unit.
• DO NOT leave the stove unattended when it is alight.
• Onlookers should keep a safe distance away from the
butane oven when it is in use.
• Keep children and animals well away while the butane oven
is in use.
• Parts of the butane oven will get extremely hot and could
cause serious burns - test every surface before touching it.
• Be very careful when operating the cooker. The operator
should pay constant attention to the food being cooked and
should remain at the appliance at all times when it is alight.
• Ensure that the butane oven is turned OFF after use and
while the butane oven is unattended.
• When turning off the butane oven, turn the control knob to
the ‘O’ position.
• Neither the Manufacturer nor their Agents can accept any
liability for the unsuitability of, or any damage to, any food
cooked on this appliance.

• The oven must be used in a well ventilated location.
• DO NOT use in a wind, breeze or draught.
• Avoid boil overs and spills. Do not overll your cooking
vessels.
• DO NOT use pots or dish with a diameter greater than
250mm.
• DO NOT use or place the stove near other heat sources
such as heaters, electrical appliances or ammable
materials.
• DO NOT touch the burner head, drip tray, pot holder etc.
immediately after or during use.
• Do not smoke while operating the appliance.
• Do not carry or move the cooker while in use.
• Keep this appliance away from combustible materials
during operation. Keep minimum clearances of:
Rear 250mm, Sides 250mm, Top 1200mm.
• DO NOT use the oven if you suspect that the unit is faulty.
• DO NOT use this appliance if it is leaking, damaged or does
not operate properly.
• Ensure the butane cartridge is removed from the oven
before storage.
• Carbon monoxide hazard:
This appliance can produce carbon monoxide which has no
odour. Using it in an enclosed space (e.g. caravan, tent, car,
mobile home) may result in death.
• This appliance is to be used for cooking only. DO NOT use
the appliance as a heater, drying apparatus or to start a
wood re.
• DO NOT use multiple stoves to heat a single vessel.
• DO NOT heat multiple vessels on this single unit.
• DO NOT attempt any repairs yourself. This appliance must
only be serviced by an authorised professional.
• Any modication to the butane oven may cause injury or
property damage.
• Any modication to the oven will invalidate the guarantee on
this appliance.
• Butane canister not included.
• The burner supplied with your cooker is considered to be a
consumable spare. Frequency of use, environmental factors
and failing to follow the cleaning and care instructions in this
manual may cause your cooker burner to corrode. This is
not considered a manufacturing fault, but rather normal wear
and tear and is not covered under our warranty. Should you
need to replace your burners please contact our customer
care department.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Turn the control knob to the OFF
position. Make sure that the
cartridge lever is in the UNLOCK
position. If the gas knob is in the
ON position, the cartridge cannot
be put into position.
2. Open the cartridge cover and insert
the gas cartridge. Make sure that
the cartridge slot ts into the
cartridge lever guide on the valve.
(Caution: Use only approved
butane gas cartridge EN417)
3. When you are ready to the use the
oven, push the cartridge lever down
to the FUEL-LOCK position. If a
hissing sound or gas smell occurs,
check that the cartridge is tted
correctly. Repeat step 2 to stop the
gas leak. If lever is hard to push
down, do not force it. Check that
the cartridge is tted correctly
and the control is in the OFF
position.

IGNITION:
1. Open the oven door.
2. Set the oven timer to 10 minutes.
3. Press and hold the ame safety
button.
4. Turn the control knob towards the
IGNITION position until a click is
heard from the piezo ignitor.
5. If ignition fails, turn the control knob
back to the OFF position and repeat
step 4.
6. Continue to hold the ame safety
button for 15 seconds after the
burner is alight. If you release the
ame safety button too early, the
safety mechanism will shut off the
ame.
HEAT CONTROL:
1. The control knob can be positioned
on ‘Maximum’, Minimum, etc. Adjust
it to the suitable position to control
the temperature in the oven.
1. When you have nished cooking, turn the control knob to
the OFF position. Conrm that the ame is completely
extinguished.
2. Raise the cartridge lever to the UNLOCK position, and take out
the gas cartridge.
3. The oven timer will automatically shut off the burner when it
returns to the ZERO/OFF position.
EXTINGUISHING
2. When turning the control knob from ‘Maximum’ to ‘Minimum’,
turn slowly towards ‘Minimum’.
3. Set the oven timer to the desired cooking time.

WARNING
• Never put butane cartridge, aerosol cartridges or any type of
fuel container inside the oven compartment.
• Never put items such as briquettes or heat beads in the oven
compartment.
• Do not use for any purpose other thank cooking food.
• During use parts may become very hot. Keep young children
away.
• Switch cartridge lever to UNLOCK position when appliance is
not in use.
• Do not store cartridge in cartridge compartment during
transportation or storage.
• Fit the nozzle cap back onto the cartridge to protect the nozzle
and accidental gas leakage if nozzle is bumped or depressed.
• Avoid boil over and spillage.
• When hot only handle the appliance by the control surface
intended to be touched.
• Allow to cool before moving or handling.
• Do not use as a space heater.
• Remove all packaging before use. Do not operate oven in carry
bag. (Where included).
• CAUTION: Never obstruct the air openings or vents on this
appliance.
PRESSURE SENSITIVE SAFETY DEVICE
If the oven is used in a hot area such as outdoors in direct sun-
light or incorrectly (not in accordance with these instructions),
the internal pressure of the cartridge will increase. If the
pressure reaches a dangerous level the built-in mechanical
safety device will activate stopping the ow of gas and
extinguishing the ame. If the built-in safety device activates,
determine and correct the cause before reusing the oven until
the problem is resolved.
The oven features a second safety device to shut off the ow of
gas and extinguish the ame. If the second safety device is
activated, the oven cannot be relit until the oven has been
cooled.

PRECAUTIONS
GAS CARTRIDGE:
1. This appliance shall only be used with a butane cartridge certied to
EN417.
IT MAY BE HAZARDOUS TO ATTEMPT TO FIT OTHER TYPES OF
GAS CARTRIDGES.
2. The cartridge should be placed away from ammable products or direct
sunlight. Never keep cartridge in places where the temperature is over
50ºC.
3. Do not subject the cartridge to impact or rough handling.
4. Cartridges must be stored outdoors in a well ventilated location out of
reach of children.
5. Do not puncture or incinerate empty cartridge.
6. Avoid carrying cartridge in the boot of a car or any unventilated
enclosure.
7. Gas cartridge shall be changed in a well ventilated location,
preferably outside, away from people and any source of ignition such as
naked ames, electric heaters/equipment.
8. To check if gas cartridge contains gas, disconnect from the oven, then
hold upright and shake from side to side. If you can feel or hear liquid
moving, it contains gas.
OVEN:
1. Check the seals between the appliance and the gas cartridge are in
place and in good condition before connecting the gas cartridge.
2. Do not use this appliance if it has a damaged or worn seal.
3. Do not use the appliance if it is leaking, damaged or does not operate
properly.
4. If there is a leak on your appliance (smell of gas) and you cannot stop
the gas ow, remove the appliance to a well ventilated location away
from any ignition source. Only check for leaks outdoors using soapy
water solution. Do not try to detect leaks using a ame.
5. This appliance must only be serviced by an authorised person.
6. Do not modify this appliance.
USE:
1. Do not use for any purpose other than cooking. Incorrect use may result
in overheating, incomplete combustion and/or a risk of re or explosion.
2. In the event of a gas leak (smell of gas) immediately turn the control
to the off position and move the cartridge lever to the unlock position to
isolate the gas supply.
3. Do not move the appliance during operation.
4. The maximum cooking tray size is 28.5cm x 28.5cm

PLACEMENT:
1. Do not use the oven in very windy conditions.
2. Do not place or use this appliance on any hot surface.
3. Do not use the oven under overhanging shelves etc.

4. Do not use close to combustible
materials such as curtains. No
combustible materials should be
within 40cm from any side of or 120cm
above the oven.
5. Use oven in the shade or in a cool place. Avoid using in direct
sunlight.
6. Only operate this appliance on a at horizontal surface to ensure
the aeration opening below the oven is clear and unobstructed.
7. ONLY USE IN WELL VENTILATED AREAS:
CARBON MONOXIDE HAZARD - USING THE APPLIANCE IN
AN ENCLOSED SPACE MAY CAUSE DEATH. DO NOT USE IN
CARAVANS, TENTS, MARINE CRAFTS, CARS, MOBILE
HOMES OR SIMILAR LOCATIONS.
ABNORMAL OPERATION
ABNORMAL OPERATION CAN BE IDENTIFIED BY:
• Frequently activation of pressure safety device.
• Jamming of cartridge lock lever.
• Irregular burner ame which is yellow or unstable.
• Black sooting of cooking utensils.
• Refer to the trouble shooting section of this manual
for possible solutions.
• If the oven does not operate properly DO NOT use
the appliance.

MAINTENANCE
PRECAUTIONS:
1. Make sure that the gas cartridge is released before cleaning.
2. Never remove safety device or gas components.
CLEANING:
1. Body: Wipe off with a clean cloth. When necessary, use
cleanser and then nish with a dry cloth.
2. Drip tray and oven shelf: After washing, wipe with a dry cloth.
3. Burner: Clean the burner, burner ports, spark electrode and
brass themocouple with a hard brush.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
BURN BACK (FIRE IN THE BURNER TUBE OR CHAMBER)
In the event of a burn-back, where the ame burns back to the
jet, immediately turn the gas supply off at the control valve on
the panel. After ensuring the ame is extinguished, wait for 1
minute and re-light the appliance in the normal manner. Should
the appliance again burn back, close the control valve and call a
service technician.
Do not use the appliance again until the service technician has
declared that it is safe to do so.
