1 INTRODUCTION
1.1 Explanation of Safety Warnings
Danger indicates a hazard with a high level of risk which, if not avoided, will result in death or serious
injury.
Warning indicates a hazard with a medium level of risk which, if not avoided, could result in death or
serious injury.
Caution indicates a hazard with a low level of risk which, if not avoided, could result in minor or
moderate injury.
Indicates information considered important, but not hazard-related.
1.2 Using these Safety Instructions
Read and understand these Safety Instructions before using the Amabrush. The product shall only be
used by persons who have fully read and understood the contents of these Safety Instructions. Ensure
that each person who uses the Amabrush has read these Safety Instructions and follows them. Follow
all the instructions. This will avoid fire, explosions, electric shocks or other hazards that may result in
damage to property and/or severe or fatal injuries. Failure to do so can result in serious injury or death.
Keep all safety information and these Safety Instructions for future reference and pass them on to
subsequent users of the Amabrush. The manufacturer is not liable for cases of material damage or
personal injury caused by incorrect handling or non-compliance with the Safety Instructions. In such
cases, the warranty will be voided.

2DESCRIPTION OF THE AMABRUSH
2.1 Intended Use
The Amabrush is intended to be used to brush teeth of humans 14 years of age or older. The product is
for household use only; it shall not be used for commercial purposes. The Amabrush shall not be used to
brush objects other than human teeth. This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their
safety.
The Amabrush shall be used with original accessories and original components only. If used with
software, the Amabrush shall only be used with the original Amabrush App.
2.2
The Amabrush1Starter Set Basic consists of the following original components:

Read and understand the User Manual and these Safety Instructions before using this product. Failure
to do so can result in serious injury or death.
3.1 How to Use the Amabrush 1.0 Safely
3.1.1 Safety information for vulnerable people
●Consult your dental professional before you use the Amabrush.

●Contact your dental professional if prolonged discomfort is experienced during use.
●The Amabrush complies with the safety standards for electromagnetic devices. Contact your
physician prior to use if you have a pacemaker or other implanted device.
●Consult your physician if you have other medical concerns.
●This Amabrush is not to be used or cleaned by children 13 years of age or younger.
●This Amabrush is not to be used or cleaned by persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the Amabrush in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved.
●Children shall not play with the Amabrush.
●Never leave children unattended with the packaging material. The packaging material
represents a danger of suffocation. Children frequently underestimate the dangers. Always
keep children away from the packaging material.
●Be vigilant at all times, and always be careful what you are doing. Do not use electrical
equipment if you are lacking in concentration or awareness, or are under the influence of
drugs, alcohol or medication. Even a moment of inattentiveness can lead to serious
accidents and injuries when using electrical equipment.
3.1.2 Safety information related to the intended use
●Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in these Safety Instructions and the
User Manual or as recommended by your dental professional.
●Use the Amabrush within the specified performance limits as described in these Safety
Instructions and the User Manual.
●Do not use attachments or products other than those provided or recommended by
Amabrush GmbH.
●The Amabrush is for household use only.
3.1.3 Safety information related to the use of the product in residential areas
●The Amabrush has been tested and is compliant with safety standards for electromechanical
devices. If handled properly and according to the Safety Instructions and the User Manual,
the Amabrush is safe to use.
3.1.4 Safety information related to the risk of electrocution
●Risk of electrocution! Do not use the Amabrush while bathing.
●Do not place or store the Wireless Charging Station where it can fall or be pulled into water
or other liquid.
●Do not reach for the Wireless Charging Station if it has fallen into water or other liquid. If
the Wireless Charging Station or Power Plug falls into water or other liquid, unplug it
immediately.
●Never use a damaged Wireless Charging Station and/or damaged Power Plug or cord of the
Power Plug. If one of these or both items are damaged, please visit www.amabrush.com for
a replacement of the Wireless Charging Station.

●Only use the Power Plug provided by Amabrush. Do not replace the Power Supply cord.
3.1.5 Safety information related to the power plug
●Use only the supplied original Power Plug with the Amabrush . Other Power Plugs may
damage the Amabrush . Do not use the supplied Power Plug with other devices.
●Protect the Power Plug from use by third parties (particularly children). Keep the unused
Power Plug in a dry, elevated or locked location away from children.
●Never touch the Power Plug with wet hands.
3.1.6 Installation safety information
●Check the Amabrush for any damage before use. If there is any visible damage, a strong
odour, or excessive overheating of components, unplug all the connections immediately and
stop using the Amabrush.
●Use the Power Plug in a suitable, properly installed and easily accessible mains power socket.
Make sure the Power Plug can be disconnected from the mains at all times.
●Do not plug the Power Plug into an outlet with a voltage other than specified on the adapter.
●Do not force the Power Plug into an outlet.
●Keep the Power Plug away from heated surfaces.
●Protect the Power Plug from being strained, pinched or buckled and place it in a way to
prevent people from tripping over the cord of the Power Plug. Particularly ensure that
damage is avoided at the Power Plug and the point where the Power Plug exits from the
Wireless Charging Station.
3.1.7 Safety information regarding the installation and use
●Read and follow the instructions regarding the installation and use in the User Manual
provided at support.amabrush.com before using the Amabrush.
●We recommend using the Wireless Charging Station provided with your Amabrush.
However, your Amabrush can be charged with compatible Qi-chargers.
●After each use, the Amabrush should be disconnected from the mains, to prevent that the
Amabrush can lead to a risk for humans and animals..
●Do not drop the Amabrush or any of its parts.
●If you suffer from any dental disease, wear braces, have tooth jewellery, have one or more
tooth crowns or wear dental prostheses, consult your dental professional or physician
before using the Amabrush.
●When connecting the Toothpaste Pod with the Handpiece read the User Manual and its
installation instructions beforehand hand and follow them attentively. Beware of your
fingers when connecting the mentioned parts.

●Insert the Mouthpiece into your mouth carefully. Stop using the Mouthpiece if you feel pain
while inserting the Mouthpiece or running the Amabrush.
●The Mouthpiece and the Handpiece are connected via a magnet. Be careful when connecting
these parts as body parts might get jammed between them.
3.1.8 Maintenance and storage safety information
●See the Cleaning and Maintenance Instructions of the User Manual before cleaning the
Amabrush.
●We recommend rinsing the Mouthpiece, Handpiece and Toothpaste Pod with lukewarm water.
Disconnect the mentioned parts before cleaning them. Do not immerse the Handpiece in
water.
●Do not rinse the Wireless Charging Station. Use a damp cloth.
●Do not put the electronic connection of the Wireless Charging Station and the Power Plug in
touch with water.
●Do not use wipes or chemicals as these could damage the surface.
●If your Amabrush will not be used for an extended period of time, unplug the Wireless
Charging Station. Store the Amabrush in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
●Do not put any or all parts of the Amabrush into the dishwasher.
3.1.9 Service and repair safety information
●The Amabrush contains no user-serviceable parts. Refer to the Section Troubleshooting and
Customer Care in the User Manual if the Amabrush no longer works properly.
●Do not attempt to open, modify or repair the Amabrush . Do not drop, puncture, break or
expose it to high pressure.
●Alterations to the Amabrush and technical modifications are not permitted.
●If the Power Plug is damaged visit www.amabrush.com for a replacement.
3.1.10 Safe disposal
●Follow the instructions in the section DISPOSAL in these Safety Instructions for safe disposal
of the Amabrush.
4 DISPOSAL
4.1 Disposal of Electronic Equipment
The symbol on the Amabrush , the Original Accessories or packaging indicates that this
device must not be treated as unsorted municipal waste, but must be collected
separately! Dispose of the Amabrush and its Original Accessories via a collection point

for the recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment if you live within the EU and in other
European countries that operate separate collection systems for waste electrical and electronic
equipment. By disposing of the Amabrush and its Original Accessories in the proper manner, you help to
avoid possible hazards for the environment and public health that could otherwise be caused by
improper treatment of waste equipment. The recycling of materials contributes to the conservation of
natural resources. Therefore do not dispose of your old electrical and electronic equipment with the
unsorted municipal waste.
4.2 Disposal of Packaging Waste
The packaging is made of environmentally friendly materials, which may be disposed through your local
recycling facilities. By disposing of the packaging in the proper manner, you help to avoid possible
hazards for the environment and public health. The symbol on the carton packaging indicates that the
packaging is made of PAP.
4.3 Disposal of Batteries
The Amabrush contains a battery. Batteries may not be disposed of with the usual domestic waste. They
may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazard our waste regulations. For this reason, dispose
the Rechargeable Handpiece (the part that contains the battery) at a local collection point or the
recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment. Do not attempt to open the Handpiece and to
remove the battery yourself!
5 FCC Statement
1. This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two
conditions:
(1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and
(2) This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause
undesired operation.
2. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could
void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital
device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable
protection against harmful interference in a residential installation.
This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and
used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio
communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular
installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception,
which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to
correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:Reorient or relocate the

receiving antenna. Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. Connect the
