Setup

Your speaker is partially charged when it arrives so you can

use it right away. For the best reception, keep your speaker

within 30 feet of the device it’s paired to.

Pairing your speaker with a device

1. Turn ON your speaker. A tone sounds, the LED blinks

quickly, and your speaker enters pairing mode.

Note: If you do not hear a tone and the LED doesn’t blink

quickly, press and hold the function button for 1 to 3

seconds to put your speaker in pairing mode. A tone sounds

and the LED blinks quickly.

2. Turn ON your Bluetooth device (like a phone or tablet).

3. On your device, locate your Bluetooth settings and turn on

Bluetooth.

4. In Bluetooth Settings, scan for devices if necessary, then

select Amazon_BT3 from your device’s list. The LED stops

blinking and lights blue. Your device and speaker are paired

and your speaker is ready to use.

Pairing another device or reconnecting to a paired device

1. Disconnect from the previous device by pressing and

holding the function button for 1 to 3 seconds. A tone

sounds, the LED blinks quickly, and your speaker enters

pairing mode.

2. Repeat the pairing steps for your next device.

Note: You can pair multiple devices but you can only have one

device actively paired at a time.

Play music

• Start playing music on your paired device. Music plays

through your speaker.

• On your speaker, press +or —to increase or decrease the

volume.

• Press the function button to pause playback. Press

again to resume playback.

Note: A tone sounds when the maximum volume setting is reached.

Use as a speakerphone

You can listen through your speaker and speak through your

speaker’s microphone during phone calls. Position your

speaker about 2 feet away and speak normally.

If you make a call while paired:

The audio and microphone automatically default to your

speaker.

• Use your phone to make the call.

• Press the call-divert button to end the call.

If you receive a call while paired:

Your phone rings through your speaker.

To listen and speak through your speaker,

• Press the call-divert button to answer the call.

• Press the call-divert button to end the call.

• When the phone is ringing through your speaker, press and

hold the call-divert button to reject the call.

To listen and speak through your phone (depending on your phone),

• Use your phone to answer the call.

• Use your phone’s settings to switch to your phone during

a call.

• Press and hold the call-divert button on your speaker

for 2 seconds to switch to your phone during a call.

Connect with an audio cable

1. Connect a 3.5 mm audio cable (not included) from your

speaker’s AUX jack to your audio device (like an MP3

player).

2. Press and hold the function button to disconnect from

Bluetooth.

Note: When connected to AUX, use the controls on the device

instead of your speaker.

Charge your speaker

When your speaker is turned on and the battery is low, your

speaker’s LED ashes red. If not charged, your speaker shuts

off.

If your plug and adapter come unassembled, slide the plug

into the adapter until it’s locked in place.

To charge your speaker, connect the power adapter to the

charging port on your speaker and a power outlet.

• If your speaker is ON, the LED alternately blinks blue and

red when charging. When fully charged and connected to a

Bluetooth device, the LED lights purple.

• If your speaker is OFF, the LED blinks red while charging.

When fully charged, the LED stops blinking and lights red.

Troubleshooting

My speaker won’t pair.

• Move your speaker and Bluetooth device closer together.

• Your speaker turns off automatically if it is not paired in 5

minutes. Turn your speaker off, then back on to re-enter

pairing mode. A tone sounds and the LED blinks quickly.

If your speaker does not enter pairing mode, press and

hold the function button for 1 to 3 seconds to put your

speaker in pairing mode.

The sound is too quiet or loud.

• Adjust the volume on your device. It should be at about

50%.

• Adjust your speaker volume.

The microphone isn’t picking up my voice.

• Make sure that your phone is paired to your speaker.

• Make sure that the microphone is facing you. The LED

should be closest to you.

I hear static through my speaker.

• Move your speaker closer to your paired device. The

maximum distance is 30 feet.

• Turn down the volume.

My speaker buttons aren’t controlling my device.

• Some functions may be restricted depending on the device

paired to your speaker.

• If the device is connected to the AUX jack, you must use

the controls on the device.

• Make sure the device is within 30 feet of your speaker.

• Make sure your device supports Bluetooth 4.0.

Paramétrage

pouvez donc l’utiliser de suite. Pour obtenir une réception

optimale, maintenez votre haut-parleur à une distance maximale

de 9 mètres (30 pieds) de l’appareil auquel il est appairé.

Comment appairer votre haut-parleur et un appareil

1. Mettez votre haut-parleur sur MARCHE (ON). Un signal

sonore se fait entendre, la DEL clignote rapidement, et votre

haut-parleur entre dans le mode d’appairage.

Note : Si vous n’entendez pas de signal sonore et la DEL ne

clignote pas rapidement, appuyez et maintenez le bouton de

fonction pendant 1 à 3 secondes pour mettre votre haut-

parleur en mode d’appairage. Un signal sonore est émis et la

DEL clignote rapidement.

2. Mettez votre appareil sur MARCHE (tel un téléphone ou une

tablette).

3. Sur votre appareil, dans les paramétrages du Bluetooth,

activez le Bluetooth.

4. Dans les paramétrages Bluetooth, recherchez

les appareils si nécessaire, puis sélectionnez

Amazon_BT3 de la liste de votre appareil.

La DEL arrête de clignoter et s’allume en bleu. Votre appareil

et le haut-parleur sont alors appairés et le haut-parleur est

prêt à être utilisé.

Appairer un autre appareil ou reconnecter à un appareil

précédemment appairé

1. Déconnectez l’appareil précédent en appuyant et

maintenant le bouton de fonction pendant 1 à 3

secondes. Un signal sonore se fait entendre, la DEL clignote

rapidement, et votre haut-parleur entre dans le mode

d’appairage.

2. Répétez les étapes d’appairage pour votre appareil suivant.

Note: Vous pouvez appairer plusieurs appareils, mais une seule

Jouer de la musique

le micro de celui-ci pendant vos appels téléphoniques.

Positionnez-vous à environ 60 cm (2 pieds) de votre haut-

parleur et parlez normalement.

Si vous passez un appel téléphonique en étant appairé:

L’audio et le micro de votre haut-parleur sont

automatiquement sélectionnés par défaut.
