IMPORTANT SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions carefully and retain them for future use.
If this product is passed to a third party, then these instructions
must be included.
WARNING When using electric products, basic precautions should
always be followed, including the following:

• Read all the instructions before using the product.
• Do not use this product near water — for example, near a bathtub,
washbowl, kitchen sink, in a wet basement, or near a swimming pool,
or the like.
• This product, either alone or in combination with an amplifier
and headphones or speakers, may be capable of producing
sound levels that could cause permanent hearing loss. Do not
operate for a long period of time at a high volume level or at a level that
is uncomfortable. If you experience any hearing loss or ringing in the
ears, you should consult an audiologist.
• Do not use near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers,
stoves, or other products (including amplifiers) that produce heat.

• The product should be connected to a power supply (not provided) only
of the type described in the operating instructions and as marked on the
product (output voltage of 9 V ===, 300 mA).
• Care should be taken so that objects do not fall and liquids are not
spilled into the enclosure through openings.
• Radios and TVs placed nearby may experience reception interference.
Operate this product at a suitable distance from radios and TVs.
• Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
• Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required
when the product has been damaged in any way, liquid has been spilled
or objects have fallen into the product, the product has been exposed to
rain or moisture, does not operate normally or has been dropped.

• This product is intended for modifying sound and volume of a guitar,
electric or bass.
• This product is intended for private use only. It is not intended for
commercial use.
• This product is intended to be used in dry indoor areas only.
• No liability will be accepted for damages resulting from improper use or
non-compliance with these instructions.

Before First Use
• Check the product for transport damages.
• Remove all the packing materials.
• Check that the power supply voltage and current rating corresponds
with the power adaptor’s (not provided).
DANGER Risk of suffocation! Keep any packaging materials away
from children – these materials are a potential source of danger, e.g.
suffocation.

Connecting to Power Supply
Adapter 9 V (not provided):
1. Connect the adapter to the power socket
2. Connect the adapter to a suitable outlet.
Switching on/off
1. Connect the product to instrument and amplifier before switching it on.
2. Set the volume controls of the connected instrument/amplifier to the
desired level.
3. Set the volume controls LEVEL of the product to “0”.
4. Press the On/Off switch to switch the product on/off.
5. The indicator light switches on/off accordingly.

6. Slowly raise the volume to the desired level.
7. Set the knobs to the desired levels.
Adjusting sound
Knob Adjustment by turning
TONE knob Sets an altering effect in the frequency of the signal.
GAIN knob Sets level of distortion in the signal.
LEVEL knob Sets volume level of the signal.
