1. GENERAL INFORMATION
The device must be operated by:

2. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Photocatalytic air purifier «AMBILIFE» is an electrical appliance, so general
electrical safety regulations should be followed when operating.
2.1. Persons who have familiarized with this manual are allowed to operate the
device. Children should be monitored to prevent playing with the device.
2.2. Do not install the product near heat sources (heating appliances, central heating
batteries, etc.). This can lead to deformation of the device’s body and a change in its

Photocatalytic air purifier «Ambilife» (hereinafter to be referred to as “the Device”)
is produced by the Limited Liability Company “Scientific-Medical Firm «Ambilife «Lipetsk,
Russian Federation.
The method of disinfection and purification of air is based on the photocatalysis princi-
ple, which belongs to the field of the nanotechnology, has been developed by the
Institute of Catalysis of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences
(Novosibirsk city). The essence of this method consists in the destruction of pathogenic
microorganisms and photo-catalytic oxidation of the organic gaseous air pollutants on
the photo-catalytic surface under the effect of the ultraviolet irradiation of the soft band
«A» (with the wavelength of 320 to 400 nm). Band «A» irradiation does not represent the
source of ozone emission.
The technology of decontamination and purification of air, which is based on the
photocatalysis principle, can be explained as follows: the air under the action of the fan
comes to the dust filter, where it is cleaned from the dust, after that the air is delivered to
the photo-catalytic filter, which represents porous carrier with a photo-catalyst applied to
it, irradiated by the UV radiation source.
At the first stage of air purification the catalyst contained in the photo-catalytic filter
under the UV irradiation forms active radicals, which ensure neutralization of all harmful
substances that represent organic gaseous compounds. The same radicals at the
second stage of air purification produce hydrogen peroxide molecules, which are known
to everyone for their high antiseptic action.
Hydroxide radicals (OH) and hydrogen peroxide (H202) are characterized by the
strong oxidizing properties and by interacting with bacteria and viruses they deactivate
them. This feature allows to ensure high molecular protection level against the patho-
genic microorganisms. Molecular level, at which our photo-catalytic filter purifies the air,
is at present considered as the highest level of the modern science.
Bactericidal photo-catalysis effect differs from the direct UV radiation on the micro-
organisms, because it ensures neutralization of microorganisms, which are resistant to
UV radiation, such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis, mold spores or fungi.

7. PREPARATION AND WORK
Connect the device to the power source (stick the plug of the device’s power cord
into the socket). To transfer the device to «wait mode,» transfer the «0/1» switch (power

8. POSSIBLE SORES AND METHODS OF THEIR
Immediately turn off the power supply of the device if:

9. TECHNICAL
Attention! Before the maintenance of the device, it is necessary to remove the power
cord fork from the socket.
You can remove the accumulated dust on the lid by rubbing it with a soft cloth soaked
with water or a solution that does not contain surface-active substances (PAV).
Never:
Rinse the air lter with water or any other solution.
REPLACING FILTERS.
The frequency of air lter replacement is approximately one year. This period depends
on the intensity (duration) of the device’s operation and the degree of air pollution. The
life of the lter is shortened when the device is used in kitchens and other rooms where
oil and soot vapors are present in the air.

The buttons on the remote control correspond to the buttons on the dashboard:

Turn off the appliance and disconnect the power cord plug from the 220B network
outlet.
Place the device on an even solid horizontal surface.
With a little effort pulling on the edges, remove the top cover.
By clicking on the latches in the direction indicated by the arrows (Figure 5, p. 9),
remove the lter frame.
Remove the used air lter from the grooves of the holder. Put a new air lter in the
grooves of the holder, observing the direction of the airow indicated on it by the arrow
(the arrow is pointing downwards). Put in place the used new prelter. Put the lter frame
in place and close the lid.

10. BREAKING AND TRANSPORTATION
The devices should be stored at relative humidity of no higher than 80% in enclosed
areas.
The devices are transported in covered vehicles of all kinds.
If the device was in a cold room or transported at a negative temperature, before
turning on it, it is necessary to withstand the device at room temperature for at least two
hours for the condensate to disappear.
P.RECYCLING.
Recycling of the device is carried out as class A waste or solid household waste.
GUARANTEE LIABILITIES
The guarantee life of the device is 24 months (two years).
The warranty shelf life is more than a month from the date of manufacture of the
device. At the end of the warranty period, the warranty life begins to be used, regardless
of whether the device is used or not.
The warranty period is calculated from the moment the device is purchased. In order
to calculate the warranty period correctly, the manual of operation must have a mark on
the genus.
Guarantee period for new components installed on the product during warranty or
paid repair, or purchased separately from the product, are three months from the date
of issuance to the buyer of the product at the end of the repair, or the sale of the last of
these Components.
