GENERAL OPERATION:
All controls are located on the back of the Tech-Scan32 Plus ECU (see diagram –BACK VIEW).
The Tech-Scan32 Plus ECU scanning augmentative communicator is a self-contained 6 level communication device, which permits the user to
record and playback 192 distinct messages, each of 3.0 seconds in length (or 7.5 seconds for extended time). The Tech/Scan 32 Plus ECU
allows you to control 32 independent AC remote outlets as well as 8 different Infrared control signals. The Tech-Scan32 Plus ECU is simple to
operate. By turning the unit on, adjusting the volume, selecting the desired level and scan mode and pushing the message square or external
switch, the communicator is activated.
NOTE: The top 8 cell locations from left to right on LEVEL 1 are used for the 32 remote AC outlets. In 1 cell location 8 different AC
remotes can be programmed to that location to turn ON only. There are 4 pairs to be programmed, that equals 32 AC remotes. Level 2
is for the Infrared controls. Each cell can control a different Infrared command. Levels 3 to 6 are all for communication.
