Pre-scanning imprinter (fi-485PRFR) The imprinter option enables users to print information on
PA03296-D207 original documents for document management purposes.
Post-scanning imprinter (fi-486PRRE) While the fi-486PRFR prints information on the front of
PA03296-D201 documents prior to scanning, the fi-486PRRE prints information
of the back of the original documents after they have been
scanned. Although both the fi-486PRFR and the fi-486PRRE
may be attached to the same scanner unit, both imprinters
cannot be used simultaneously.

VRS®4 Professional Production Included
VRS 4 Professional Production is included with every
fi-4860C2. VRS provides many advanced Imaging
functions that greatly increase overall efficiency in a
Production scanning environment.
Fast VRS Scanning Speed
74 ppm/148 ipm @200 dpi, Letter, Landscape in B/W,
Greyscale and Colour is achieved with VRS.
Excellent Paper Handling
13.9 to 34 lb paper is supported through the automatic
feeder.
Ultra-sonic Multi-Feed Detection
Ultra-sonic multi-feed detection is the most advanced
method for detecting multi-feeds. It works reliably even
when scanning pages of different sizes, thicknesses
and colours.
Auto Switching Background
Allows the software or scanner to switch between a
white and black background. A black background
is required for accurate auto-crop and auto deskew.
A white background is required to perform optical
system checks and re-calibrations which contribute to
consistent image quality.
Imprinter Option
The imprinter option prints a string of alphanumeric
text onto the back side of the page after scanning.
This text can include a page counter, date and time,
file number or any other alphanumeric information.
