American Dynamics AD2081 User manual

FEATURES
The AD2081 is used to expand a single RS-232
port on a matrix switching system to four
ports. Each of the four ports then has an
alphanumeric designation such as 1a, 1b, 1c
and 1d.
The Port Expander is compatible with the full
range of American Dynamics Matrix
Switcher/Controller Systems and Keyboards as
well as accessory products such as the Alarm
Interface Unit.
The AD2081 series is installation friendly,
utilizing RJ-45 connectors for all device
connections. It can be mounted virtually
anywhere with the high-strength Velcro pads.
Power on status and RS-232 activity is
indicated with easy to see LEDs.
