American Dynamics Multivision Quest TMV910Q User manual

FEATURES
The Multivision Quest Triplex series offers advanced
features not typically found in standard multiplexers.
The triplex capability allows users to view live and
recorded video simultaneously on the same screen,
while also recording at the same time. Viewing options
are available for 2x zoom, picture in picture,
programmable sequential switching, and a variety of
multi-view screen layouts in any combination of live
and recorded video. Users can also use the active
window feature to select a window (live or playback) to
display video in real time. Video inputs can be
programmed as covert so that certain cameras are
recorded but not viewable on the monitors.
Three types of alarm events are supported: video loss,
alarm inputs via the rear panel, and motion detection.
Motion detection for each individual camera is
programmed via a detection grid and has two settings
for indoor/outdoor applications. Each alarm event can
be programmed to put the multiplexer into alarm
mode, which can result in on-screen alarm text, an
internal buzzer sounding, and a relay being triggered.
Motion detection, as well as triggered alarm inputs,
can be programmed to increase the camera record rate
based upon time of day. Alarm dwell time is user
selectable from 1 to 9,999 seconds. In addition, as these
events occur they are stored in a non-volatile event
history log. The most recent 255 events are kept in the
list. Video inputs can be programmed for priority
recording during normal and alarmed activity.
For installations where cameras are located at long
distances and video signal integrity is affected, the gain
control for each individual camera can be adjusted to
restore picture quality.
The multiplexer has two passwords: one for resetting
the unit to factory settings, one for configuring the
unit during installation.
