AD1641 series receiver models with an “E” suffix are
provided with a NEMA 4 weatherproof enclosure and
appropriate mounting accessories. Following is a parts
list for the 1641E outdoor conversion kit.

1. Mount the enclosure with the hinged side of the unit
on the left (see Figure 1). For mounting details see
the Model 1641 Series Installation and Operating
Instructions. Attach the receiver within the
enclosure with the four Phillips head screws
provided in the kit.
2. Pass-throughs are provided on the bottom of the unit
for wiring access. Fit the components of the liquid-
tight hub (A, B, and C in Figure 2 below) as well as
the O ring (D in Figure 2) in an appropriate pass-
through as needed. Note: hub component B fits
through the O ring on the outside of the enclosure,
and connects with hub component C on the inside of
the enclosure. Liquid-tight knockouts are provided
in the kit to seal unused pass-throughs.
