To get the best out of your new rechargeable insect killer, please read
through these instructions carefully before using it for the rst time. Take
particular note of the safety precautions. We also recommend that you keep
the instructions for future reference.

WARNING-When using electric appliances, the basic precautions should
always be followed:
1. Read all the instructions before using the appliance.
2. To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is necessary when an
appliance is used near children.
3.This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concern-
ing use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
4. Keep out of reach from children.
5. Do not touch moving parts.
6. Only use attachments recommended or sold by the manufacturer.
7. To disconnect, turn all controls to the off (“O”) position, then remove plug
from outlet.
8. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
9. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before servicing or cleaning.
10. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, after the
appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner.
11. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examina-
tion, repair, or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
12. To Reduce the Risk of Electric Shock, this appliance has a polarized plug
(one blade is wider than the other). This plug will t in a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not t fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still
does not t, contact a qualied electrician to install the proper outlet. Do
not change the plug in any way.
13. Not suitable for commercial use. Can be used indoors and
outdoors(dry weather conditions only.)
14. To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not put appliance in water or
other liquids. Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled
into a tub or sink.
15. This appliance is provided with double insulation. Use only identical
replacement parts. See instructions for Servicing of Double-Insulated
Appliances.
16. SERVICING OF DOUBLE-INSULATED APPLIANCES-
In a double-insulated appliance, two systems of insulation are provided
instead of grounding. Servicing of a double-insulated appliance requires
extreme care and knowledge of the system, and should be done only by
qualied service personnel.
Replacement parts for a double-insulated appliance must be identical to
those parts in the appliance.

PRODUCT FEATURES AND FUNCTIONING PRINCIPLES:
Please carefully read the instruction manual given with this product before
using it.
The Silent Bug Killer uses a 7W energy-efcient black light to attract insects.
A built-in powerful suction fan draws insects into the bottom collection box,
where they are dehydrated.
This unit is chemical free and environmentally friendly to human beings and
pets, it will help to rid your backyard and home of annoying biters and
ensuring you a bite-free summer! No high voltage! No zap! No unpleasant
burning smell!
PRODUCT CONSISTS OF:
- One UV-A lamp that is energy saving, low consumption, and high in
efciency
- Tube shield with reectors function
- One DC suction fan with ultra-long working life
- Anti-insect escaping device
- Removable Bottom Collection tray for easy cleaning
- Attracting Tray to place substances for attracting insects.
- Removable leg stands
FUNCTION OF ATTRACTING TRAY:
The attracting tray is installed in the middle of the unit, and is easily detach-
able. The user can put the suggested substances inside as attractants to lure
insects. The substance is eco-friendly and chemical-free.

Suggested substances:
- Sugar or honey water, mainly attractive to ies
- Beer and yogurt, mainly attractive to mosquitoes
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
- Read the instructions before using.
- Do not put any metal objects inside while working.
- Unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use and before
cleaning and repairing.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is
used by or near the Children.
- If any problems occur while device is working, please contact the
authorized service center.

MAINTENANCE:
Step1: Check the Bottom Collection Box through side panels to gauge if
cleaning is necessary.
Step2: Remove the plug and switch off.
Step3: Twist the bottom collection box and dispose of the insect remains.

Warranty
American Outland offers a 1 year limited warranty against defects in material
and workmanship for 1 year from the date of purchase, when used in accor-
dance with the instructions provided. Any defective part will be, at the
discretion of American Outland, repaired or replaced at no charge if the
product has not been tampered with has been used according to the printed
instructions. This warranty does not cover damages or wear resulting from
accident, misuse, abuse, commercial use, or unauthorized adjustment and/or
repair.
The consumer is responsible for charges incurred for shipping the defective
unit to American Outland for return/replacement. Keep your receipt as proof
of purchase. This warranty gives you specic legal rights as well as other
rights that vary from state to state.
