The Electronic Insect Killer utilizes the black light (ultra-violet rays) of the
wave length, which is proven to be the most effective lure for light sensitive
ying insects such as ies, moths, mosquitoes, and other ying insects.
These insects are electrocuted by the high voltage inner grid. There are no
chemicals, no smell, no sprays, no mess, pollution free and harmless to
humans and pets. It is ideal for use in homes, ofces, factories, food outlets,
and hospitals.

1. The product is not suitable for commercial use.
2. CAUTION– This product is intended for indoor use. To avoid risk of re
or electric shock, do not use where it may be exposed to water or direct
sunlight.
3. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
4. Keep out of reach from children.
5. Use extension cords marked SJW-A, SJEW-A, or SJTW-A only.
6. Use only extension cords which have plugs and receptacles which accept
the product’s plug. Replace or repair damaged cords.
7. The electrical rating of the extension cord must be as great as the
electrical rating of the product.
8. Don’t Abuse Cord – Never carry product by cord or yank it to disconnect
from outlet. Keep cord away from heat, oil, and sharp edges.
9. Disconnect the product from the power supply when not in use, before
servicing, when changing bulbs, cleaning, and similar actions.
10. Do not insert foreign objects into this product.
11. The connection to an extension cord should be kept dry and off the
ground.
12. Store products indoors and out of reach of children when not in use.
13. Do not clean this product with a water spray or similar methods.
14. CAUTION - Risk of UV exposure. Ensure product is installed such that no
continuous human activity is likely to be performed within 1.5 ft distance of
the unit while illuminated
15. WARNING: Skin or eye damage may result from directly viewing the
light produced by the lamp in this apparatus. Always disconnect power
before servicing.
WARNING: Do not use consistently for more than 8 hours a day.
16. CAUTION-High Voltage , keep out of reach of children.
17. CAUTION-To reduce the risk of sparks remove insects frequently.
18. CAUTION-The unit must be repaired by professional workers.

19. CAUTION-Use supply wires suitable for 221°F
20. CAUTION-Electrical shock hazard may exist if water from a garden hose
is directed at unit while in operation.

Maintenance and Cleaning

1. Always clean the collection tray for the sake of your health and
safety. Dispose of the debris in a sealable dustbin.
2. Before cleaning, disconnect power plug from the socket.
3. Don't submerge appliances in water to clean.
4. If the appliance will not be used for a long period of time, seal and
store in a dry place.
5. If the appliance, cord or plug has been damaged, stop using and
call customer service.

Warranty
WARRANTY
American Outland offers a 1 year limited warranty against defects in material
and workmanship for 1 year from the date of purchase, when used in accor-
dance with the instructions provided. Any defective part will be, at the
discretion of American Outland, repaired or replaced at no charge if the
product has not been tampered with has been used according to the printed
instructions. This warranty does not cover damages or wear resulting from
accident, misuse, abuse, commercial use, or unauthorized adjustment and/or
repair.
The consumer is responsible for charges incurred for shipping the defective
unit to American Outland for return/replacement. Keep your receipt as proof
of purchase. This warranty gives you specic legal rights as well as other
rights that vary from state to state.
