Power/Activity LED:
Blue = on.
Blue ashing = infra-red (IR) command received.
Red = standby.
Wi-Fi signal strength indicator.
Warning! Before connecting or disconnecting the
Kamai 7Q to your TV using any kind of cable, rst
switch o the Kamai 7Q, the TV and all other devices
connected to it (A/V ampliers etc.) and disconnect
them from the mains electrical supply.
You have a choice of ways to connect the audio and
video produced by the Kamai 7Q to your TV:
1. HDMI: Recommended for best quality. Connect a
HDMI cable from the HDMI output of the Kamai 7Q
to the HDMI input of your TV.
2. Analog A/V: Provides good quality in SD only.
Composite video with analog audio left/right.
Connect the 3.5mm jack to the analogue A/V output
on the Kamai 7Q. Connect the yellow RCA plug to
the yellow video port on your TV. Connect the red
and white RCA plugs to the red and white audio
ports on your TV.
Connecting your television directly to the audio/video
output of your Set Top Box will assure a more vivid
picture and enhance your viewing enjoyment.
1. Reset button. This has no function in normal use.
Only use under guidance from your service provider.
2. Analogue A/V output.
3. S/PDIF optical output.
4. Ethernet port.
5. HDMI output.
6. USB port.
7. DC power input 12 V 2 A.

Your Kamai 7Q is supplied with the correct power
adapter for your region. Depending on the choices
made by your service provider, your box may also
contain the optional accessories shown below.
The Kamai 7Q is protected with a clear plastic lm.
This should be removed before use.

1. Connecting the Kamai 7Q to a TV

Connect one end of an optical S/PDIF cable to the S/
PDIF optical output of the Kamai 7Q. Connect the other
end to the S/PDIF optical input of your A/V amplier or
home cinema system.
3. Connecting the Kamai 7Q to power supply
Warning! The Kamai 7Q must only be used with the
power adapter provided with the product. Ensure you
have the right power adapter for your region. If you are
unsure, contact your service provider.
Connect the power adapter to the DC power input of
the Kamai 7Q, then insert the power adapter plug into
the mains supply.
