8. Mounting
Industrial Ethernet switch RB-SW006/AM1 is designed to mount in horizontal or
vertical position using four holes with 6 mm diameter.
8.1. Installation rules
Unit must be mounted and positioned as shown on figure below.
To ensure the right cooling and access to unit we recommend to keep a free
space minimally 50 mm around equipment.
PE terminal of power supply connector must be connected with local installation
earthing terminal. All connections to PE terminal must be realized with as low as
possible impedance. Technical parameters of industrial Ethernet switch are
warranted only when these wiring rules are applied.
The cables or individual wires being connected to Ethernet switch must be
protected against mechanical stress. Cables or individual wires connected to
Ethernet switch must be protected against mechanical stress by binding to the
solid installation part. Lenght of cable or individual wire between last binding
point and connector through which is cable or wire attached to the Ethrenet
switch connector should not exceed 15 cm.

10. Maintenance
With exception of cleaning the device requires no periodic control nor
maintenance.
Depending on equipment usage, the dust is to be removed occassionally from
equipment. The equipment can be cleaned by dry soft brush or vacuum cleaner,
only when turned-off and disassembled.
Inspection must be carried out once every five years.
The maintenance mentioned above can be performed by manufacturer or
authorized service only!
