Safety of data processing equipment
In order to suspend the terminal, simply press the on/off
button once. If you wish to store the unit for long periods of
time while not in the charger, you can completely shut
down the unit by pressing both the on/off button and the
scan key simultaneously. Hold both keys for more than five
(5) seconds while the unit powers off. The LED light will flash
rapidly when the unit is powering down.

There are six (6) built-in programs that can be used on the
M5900 terminal right out of the box. You can also create
your own unique program(s) using either the On-Board
Programmer or the M5900 Program Generator software.
Please refer to the M5900 User's Guide to learn more about
creating programs.

NOTE: The M5900 terminal will automatically turn on
when connected to the in-line charger or placed in the
charging cradle.
A fully discharged
battery takes about
4 hours to recharge
before initial use and
6 hours to fully recharge.
