AMT Motorsport C5/C6 Gas Pedal Extension
Thank you for purchasing the AMT Motorsport Gas Pedal Extension. This is a simple but very effective piece that will
make heel/toe downshifts much easier. The install will take about 5 minutes. We guarantee satisfaction with this
product so if you install it and don’t love it for any reason, send it back for a full refund.

What You’ll Need
.216 Diameter Drill Bit (5.5mm, No. 2 Drill, 7/32 all acceptable)
Tape or Something
Phillips Head Screwdriver

Installation
We installed this pedal on our car before we included the handy dandy pedal template.
You can cut out the template on the back of this instruction booklet if you’d like to drill
the holes in your pedal without the extension in place. We’ll be demonstrating the
process with the actual pedal extension.
1. Here’s the stock C5/C6 Corvette
Pedal. Obviously our pedal
extension was already installed on
this vehicle but you can either A)
Pretend you don’t see the holes or
B) Realize from this picture
approximately where you’ll be
drilling the holes on your gas pedal
2. Affix Tape or Something on the back of
the Pedal Extension so it sticks to your
gas pedal. Or feel free to wrap it around
the outside of the extension and tape to
gas pedal. Or this would be the point
where you’d cut out the template and
stick it right over the gas pedal.

3. Place Pedal Extension (or template)
over gas pedal.
4. With gas pedal in place drill hole thru
one hole only
5. Secure pedal extension to gas pedal
with provided screws. Proper torque
value is Good’n Tite. The coarse threads
and nature of the plastic should not
allow these from ever coming loose thru
normal use.
6. Proceed to drill second hole and
insert screw. After the second hole is
drilled and screw inserted the pedal will
no longer be able to twist, so you’re safe
to drill the last 2 holes without the pedal
moving

7. Finished product. 4 holes drilled and screws inserted. Enjoy the new ease of
perfectly executed Heel/Toe downshifts!
