AMX MAX-AVP User manual

MAX-AVP DATA SHEET
The Audio Video Player (MAX-AVP) plays audio and video – music, movies and personal multimedia – to
multiple zones throughout a commercial or residential property. Engineered as a streaming audio/video
content player with built-in standalone DVD/CD player, the MAX-AVP works in conjunction with the full line
of MAX-HT Integrated Content Servers.
IN ANY ZONE, AT ANY TIME
Deliver custom audio/video distribution by simply adding a MAX-AVP to each area (zone) where audio/video content can be
distributed and displayed, according to project specifications or as desired by the end user. The MAX-AVP communicates directly
with the MAX-HT server to create a distinct audio/video zone that can be controlled using an AMX Modero® Touch Panel. The
result: instant access to a library of digital content, all from multiple locations. The end user even has the ability to select and play
different audio/video files simultaneously, in any zone, at any time.
EXPONENTIAL RATE
As many as 25 separate MAX-AVPs can communicate with an MAX-HT server over an Ethernet network structure. For the
residential homeowner, this means having music and movies readily accessible from the living room, bedrooms, game room and
anywhere else desired as well as the ability to view or listen to standalone DVDs and CDs immediately, using the included player.
In the business arena, the MAX-AVP allows for the timely distribution of training videos, product promotions and background
music to multiple office locations. An ideal solution when employees need up-to-the-minute, accurate and consistent information.
