Button operation
1ON/OFF button
The machine starts when this button is
pressed and stops when the button is
pressed again.
2OPTION
Press the OPTION button to select
additional functions: SLEEP, TIMER,
FEEL, DISPLAY, FROST PROTEC-
TION. Use the buttons and to
select the desired function.
- SLEEP function
Press OPTION, select SLEEP, press
OPTION again.
- TIMER function
Timer OFF (heat pump switches off
after time set)
1. Press OPTION, select TIMER.
2. Set the switch-off time by pressing
and . Each time is pressed the set
start-up time automatically increases
with intervals of 30 minutes. When the
time set shows 10 h, each press will
increase the time set with 60 minute
intervals.
3. Press OPTION to save the settings.
To cancel the timer, press OPTION
again.

1. Press OPTION, select TIMER.
2. Set the start-up time by pressing
and . Each time is pressed the set

start-up time automatically increases

time set shows 10 h, each press will
increase the time set with 60 minute
intervals.
3. Press OPTION to save the settings.
4. Switch off the heat pump
To cancel the timer, press OPTION
again.
- FEEL function
The air conditioner adjusts the room
temperature according to the tempera-
ture around the remote control.
1. Press OPTION button, select the I
FEEL function.
2. Press OPTION again. The function
switches off 2 hours after being activated.
- DISPLAY function
Switch the LED screen on the heat pump
on/off.
1. Press the OPTION button, select the
DISPLAY function.
2. Press OPTION again.
The screen turns on.
Repeat the procedure to turn off the
display.
2. Press OPTION again.
3. Switch off the heat pump.“8” appears
on the screen and the frost protection is
now activated.

Press this button to increase the set
indoor temperature in intervals of 1°C
(up until 31°C).
4button
Press this button reduce the set indoor
temperature in intervals of 1°C (down
to 16°C).
Note: Temperature control is not avail-
able in DEHUMIDIFICATION mode.
5ECO button:
In this mode, the device is automatical-
ly set to energy saving mode.
1. Press the “ON/OFF” button to turn
the device on and select a COOL/
HEAT mode.
2. If the “ECO” button is pressed the
device will run in ECO mode.
3. Pressing the “ECO” button again
cancels the mode.“ECO” is no
longer displayed on the screen.
6TURBO button
Activate / deactivate TURBO mode.
TURBO mode allows the unit to reach
the preset temperature for cooling or
heating in the shortest possible time.

Press this button to change the mode
of the air conditioner in the following
order:
AUTO COOL DRY
FAN HEAT (AUTO, COOL, DEHU-
MIDIFY, FAN, HEAT mode)
AUTO mode
Make sure the device is connected
and the power is on. The OPERATION
indicator on the indoor unit display
starts ashing.
1. Press the MODE button to select
Auto.
2. Press the / buttons to set the
desired temperature. The tempera-
ture can be set from 16°C ~ 31°C in
intervals of 1°C.
3. Press the ON/OFF button to start the
air conditioner.
Note:
1.In AUTO mode, the air conditioner
can select COOL, FAN and HEAT
mode itself by measuring the differ-
ence between the actual room tem-
perature and the temperature set on
the remote control.
2.In AUTO mode the fan speed cannot
be changed. It is controlled automat-
ically.

COOL/HEAT/FAN mode
Make sure the device is connected
and the power is on.
1. Press the MODE button to select the
COOL, HEAT or FAN mode.
2. Press the / buttons to set the
desired temperature. The tempera-
ture can be set from 16°C ~ 31°C in
intervals of 1°C.
3. Press the FAN button to select one
of the four fan speeds - Auto, Low,
Medium or High.
Note:
In FAN mode, the set temperature is
not displayed on the remote control,
and you can also not control the room
temperature. In this case, only steps 1
and 3 can be performed.
DEHUMIDIFICATION mode
Make sure the device is connected
and the power is on. The OPERATION
indicator on the indoor unit display
starts ashing.
1. Press the MODE button to select
DRY mode.
2. Press the ON/OFF button to start the
air conditioner.
Note:
In DEHUMIDIFICATION mode, you
cannot change the fan speed or
change the temperature. These are
controlled automatically.

Used to select fan speed in four steps:
Auto, Low, Medium, High
Flashes
9button
Used to stop or start the movement of
the horizontal slats or to set the de-
sired air direction (up/down). Press the
button and the slats will swing up and
down automatically. Press the button
again to stop the movement and set
the desired position.
10 LOCK combination
Press the buttons and to lock all
current settings, after which the remote
control will not respond to signals
other than the LOCK combination. Use
lock mode when you want to prevent
the settings from being accidentally
changed. A lock symbol appears
on the remote control display when
the lock is activated. Press the LOCK
combination again to cancel the lock
function.

Handling the remote control
Location of the remote control.
Use the remote control within 8 metres
of the appliance and point it in the
direction of the receiver. Receipt is
conrmed with a beep.
Note:
The air conditioner does not work
if curtains, doors or anything else
blocks the signals from the re-
mote control to the indoor unit.
Make sure that the remote con-
trol is not exposed to liquid. Do
not expose the remote control to
direct sunlight or heat.
If the receiver of the infra-red sig-
nal on the indoor unit is exposed
to direct sunlight, the air condi-
tioner may not work properly.
If other electrical appliances
respond to the remote control,
either move these appliances or
contact your local dealer.
Do not drop the remote control.
Handle it with care.
Do not place heavy objects on the
remote control or step on it.

Handling the remote control
Replacement of batteries
The following may be signs of used
batteries.
The signal is not conrmed by a
beep.
Indicators on the LCD display fade.
Replace old batteries with new ones.
The remote control is powered by two
dry-cell batteries (R03/LR03X2) at the
bottom of the back side, which are
protected by a cover.
1. Remove the cover at the bottom, fur-
thest-to-the-back part of the remote
control.
2. Remove the old batteries, insert the
new batteries and remember to posi-
tion the poles (+) and (-) correctly.
3. Place the cover back on again.
Note:
When the batteries are removed, the
remote control deletes all its program-
ming. After inserting new batteries, the
remote control needs to be repro-
grammed.
Do not mix old and new batteries or
different types of batteries.
Do not leave the batteries in the
remote control if it is not going to be
used for the next 2 or 3 months.
Do not dispose of batteries as un-
sorted household waste. Such waste
needs to be collected separately for
special treatment.
