Ionic Technology
Many aspects of modern living, including air conditioning, contact
with man-made fibres and air pollution, even brushing and towel
drying hair contributes to a build-up of static. As a result hair
becomes dull, “fly-away” and difficult to style.
Ionic technology neutralises the static, smoothing hair and leaving
it looking shiny, conditioned and manageable.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• Plug the appliance into a suitable mains socket.
• Ensure the hair is towelled dry and combed through to remove
tangles prior to styling.
• It is not essential, but you may find it quicker and easier to use
a hairdryer first to rough dry your hair and remove the excess
moisture. Then once your hair is 80% dry, start to use the styler.
• Select the required heat and speed settings.
• Choose the attachment to use.
• ALWAYS ensure to keep hair away from the rear filter to prevent it
being sucked into the fan as this may cause the styler to overheat.
• Use the high heat / speed setting (II) for initial drying and for
thicker hair. Use the low heat / speed setting (I) for more controlled
styling and for finer or coloured hair.
• Line up the rounded raised panel on the attachment with the
corresponding raised panel on the appliance. Push the attachment
and appliance together until the buttons on either side of the
appliance click into place.
• The vent brush is perfect for general styling and introducing lift.
With the vent brush attached, place the appliance into the hair
and brush through to remove any tangles, brushing up and away
from the scalp to introduce lift.
• For added root lift and for creating body and volume, attach the
thermal brush. Place it into the hair close to the roots; hold the
brush in place at the roots for a few seconds then gently remove
from the hair trying to disturb the curl as little as possible to retain
the root lift. Alternatively place into the hair and brush down the
hair length stopping just short of the ends, wind the brush up the
hair length until it reaches the scalp, then hold in place for a few
seconds. Unwind the hair from the brush without pulling to retain
the shape you have created.
• Use the bristle brush in the same way as the thermal brush.
The smaller diameter of the brush creates greater shape and
movement in the hair.
• At any stage of styling you can set styled hair with cool air by
moving the slide switch to the first setting ✽.
• To remove the attachment, press the buttons on either side of the
5

appliance and pull the attachment away from the appliance.
• After use, switch off and unplug the appliance. Allow to cool
before storing away.
STYLING TIPS
For a sleek look that’s full of volume, use the thermal brush to create
great shape in your hair. Brush the hair in an arc as you dry to create
a really long lasting curve in the hair length and leave the hair
looking sculpted and full of body.
For a smooth straight look, divide the hair into sections and with the
vent brush attached, slowly brush down the hair length keeping
the hair as taut as possible. Place your free hand against the bristles
of the vent brush to increase the resistance and enhance the
straightening effect.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
To keep your styler in the best possible condition and
maintain optimum performance, the rear filter should be cleaned
on a regular basis.
• Ensure the appliance is switched off, unplugged and cool.
• To open the filter, pull the grips on either side of the power cord
to unclip it and let the hinged filter cover drop open. Using a soft
brush, clean any hair and debris from the sponge filter mesh and
the metal mesh on the hinged filter cover as well as the inlet to
the styler itself.
• Replace the rear filter before using the styler again making sure it
clicks shut.
Care of your styler
• Do not use the styler at a stretch from the power point. Stretching
the connection between the lead and the styler can be dangerous.
• Always keep the rear of the styler away from your hair during use
to prevent hair ingress.
• Always unplug after use. Smooth out the lead to remove kinks and
prevent damage.
• Do not wrap the lead around the styler, instead coil it loosely by
the side.
6

• Make sure the styler is used on the correct voltage.
