General safety instrucons
When using any electrical
appliance, basic safety
precauons should always
be followed, including:
• This appliance can be used
by children aged from 8
years and above and
persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental
capabilies or lack of
experience and knowledge if
they have been given
supervision or instrucon
concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not
play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be
made by children unless
they are older than 8 and
supervised. Keep the
appliance and its cord out of
reach of children less than 8
years old.
• Always ensure the voltage
on the rang label
corresponds to the voltage
in your home.
• Check the power cord and
plug regularly for any
damage. If the cord or the
plug is damaged, it must be
replaced by a qualied
electrician or a service repair
centre. If in doubt please
contact our customer
service team.
• The appliance is intended for
domesc use only. Industrial
or commercial use will void
the warranty. The supplier
cannot be held responsible
for injury or damage if the
appliance has been used for
anything other than its
intended use. Incorrect
operaon and use can
damage the appliance and
cause injury to the user.
• Do not use the appliance if it
has been dropped or
damaged in any way. If the
unit has been damaged take
the unit for examinaon and
or repair by an authorised
service agent.
• Do not immerse or expose
the assembly, plug or the
power cord in water or any
other liquid for any reason.
• If the supply cord is
damaged, it must be
replaced by the
manufacturer or by
someone who is suitably
qualied to avoid a potenal
hazard.
• Do not let the cord hang
over the edge of a table or
counter. Ensure that the
cord is not in a posion
where it can be pulled or
tripped over accidentally.
• Do not allow the cord to
touch hot surfaces and do
not place the cord near hot
gas, electric burners or in a
heated oven.

• If an extension cable is
required, it must have an
earth conductor. To avoid
overheang the extension
cable should be rated no less
than 13A and be fully
unwound before use.
• Ensure that the extension
cord is equal to or greater
than the power consumpon
of the appliance to avoid
overheang of the appliance
and extension cord. Do not
use any other appliance on
the extension cord. Do not
place the extension cord in a
posion where it can be
pulled on by children or
animals or be tripped over.
• Always operate the
appliance on a smooth, even
and stable surface. Do not
place the unit on a hot
surface.
• Always remove the plug of
the appliance safely. Do not
pull on the appliances cord
to remove the appliance
plug from the electrical
socket.
• Never handle or operate the
appliance with wet hands.
• The supply cord should be
regularly examined for signs
of damage, if the cord is
damaged the appliance must
not be used.
• The appliance must be
supplied through a residual
current device (RCD) having
a rated residual operang
current not exceeding 30
mA.
• The appliance should be
connected to a socket-outlet
that has an earth contact
(for class 1 appliances).
Appliance specic safety
instrucons
WARNING
The correct amount of water
must be added to the reector
tray before use in order to
prevent overheang.
• Cauon: Monitor the water
level during use.
• Warning! This electrical
appliance contains a heang
funcon. Surfaces other
than the grill rack can
develop high temperatures
that may be perceived
dierently by dierent
people. Use with CAUTION.
When operang, only touch
the product at the intended
handles and gripping
surfaces and use heat
resistant gloves. Allow the
product to cool down before
contacng surfaces other
than intended gripping
surfaces.
• Warning! Never cover the
appliance or grill rack by a
solid or exible material
such as an aluminium tray,
foil or other heat resistant
material. Covering the grill

rack would prevent the heat
from dissipang and may
result in the appliance
overheang.
• Cauon; The appliance gets
hot during use, always make
sure you use the appliance
in a safe area and do not
touch the grill rack, heang
element or housing to
prevent possible injury.
• Cauon: Never use charcoal
or similar fuels on the
electric grill.
• Be aware of hot surfaces.
Use suitable utensils and
heat resistant gloves. Keep
children and bystanders
away from the cooking area.
• Ensure the appliance is
placed on a level surface.
• Keep the manual in a safe
place. If the appliance is
passed onto a third party
ensure that the manual is
kept with the appliance.
• Do not use any accessories
that are not recommended
by the manufacturer.
• Always ensure the
thermostat is correctly
inserted into the appliance.
• The BBQ is ed with a
safety switch, if the
thermostat is removed from
the appliance the heang
element will automacally
switch o.
• This appliance has been
tested for outdoor use.
• Always ensure the appliance
is used on a at, stable and
heat proof surface.
• The appliance is designed
for grilling standard BBQ
food only.
·Do not use the appliance
near combusble materials
(e.g. near ammable gases
or spray cans).
·Do not expose the appliance
to rain or other damp
condions.
·Do not allow people under
the inuence of drugs or
alcohol to use the appliance.
·Always be cauous of fat
splashing when grilling meat
as there could be a risk of
burning.
·Do not use any plasc
utensils when cooking with
the appliance.
• Do not place any items on
the grill rack except for food
items to be cooked.
• The appliance must never
be used under a running
extractor fan or hanging
wall cupboards.
• Ensure the product has
cooled down before making
any adjustments, moving
the appliance, cleaning or
leaving the appliance
unaended aer use.

Assembling the appliance
Unpack all the components.
Take the lower legs (1) and insert one connecter (2) onto the top of each leg.
Make sure the connecter is pushed all the way down. Also make sure that
the thick end of the connector is poinng down towards the ground, and the
‘elbow’ is poinng in.
Inset the legs, with the connecters on them, into the lower tray (3).
Screw the connecters (4) to the lower tray (3) using the nuts and bolts
provided (5).
Take the upper legs (4) and insert them into the lower tray (3). Then insert
the base rack (6) onto the top of the upper legs.
Insert the aluminium reector tray (7) into the base rack. Before use make
sure to ll the reector with water between the minimum and the maximum
levels.
Insert each side tray (8) into the base tray by clipping it into the holes.
Insert the heang element (9) into the base tray. The thermostat will t into
the gap at the front of the base.
Add the metal grill (10) to the top of the heang element. Line up the paern
on the boom of the metal grill to the heang element’s coils.
Take the wind shield (11) and clip it into the four holes on the back of the
base tray.
Take the warming shelf (12) and insert it into the holes in the wind shelf.
*If you wish to just use the BBQ without the lower tray follow steps 6-11, ensuring
that the BBQ is rested on a at, secure and heat resistant surface.
Cauon: Never use the appliance without water in the reector
tray, always ensure that the water level is between the
minimum and maximum marks.
Cauon: When adding water to the reector tray, always make
sure the water does not come into contact with the heang
element.

Operaonal instrucons
• Ensure that the water level in the aluminium reector tray is between the
minimum and maximum marks. Water is required to reect heat and
minimise the amount of smoke produced during the cooking process.
• Switch the appliance on and set the temperature using the control dial. The
appliance will heat up automacally unl the selected temperature is
reached. The element will then switch o unl the heat falls below the
selected temperature upon which the element will switch on again. This
ensures that a constant temperature is maintained. The indicator light will
be lit whenever the element is heang and the grill will turn o when the
element stops.
• The grill rack can be placed at various heights by placing it in one of the
three holes located on the base rack.
• Power consumpon depends on the thermostat seng. For lengthy grilling
it is advisable to set the temperature to high as “MAX”.
• When you have nished grilling turn the control dial to “MIN” and take the
plug out of the mains socket. The appliance will now cool down.
• Do not move the appliance unl it has fully cooled down.
Grilling
The appliance can be used to grill food such as sausages, meat, sh and vegetables
etc. always ensure that the food is placed directly onto the grill rack. Do not cover
the grill rack with materials such as aluminium foil or transparent lm.
Always ensure that the food is thoroughly cooked before consuming.
Cleaning
Before cleaning always remove the plug from the socket and let the
appliance cool down completely.
Remove the heang element and thermostat from the base of the plasc
cooking element.
Never immerse the plug, power cable, heang element or the thermostat in
any liquids. These parts must be wiped with a dry cloth.

The grill rack can be cleaned with a so brush.
Tip: Aer grilling let the grill rack cool down and then cover it with damp tea towels
and let it soak for 30-60 minutes.
In order to ensure that the unit works correctly it may be necessary to remove lime
scale deposits from the water tray.
Storage
Aer use, clean the product as above and store in a dry, secure locaon. Do not
expose the appliance to rain or other damp condions.
Troubleshoong
If the indicator light fails to come on, this is normally due to the heang element
being incorrectly inserted into the base rack. Insert the heang element correctly
and turn the appliance on again.
Cauon! Repairs carried out by an unauthorised person may cause damage to the
product and injury to persons.

intended, and all instrucons have
been followed accordingly. Please
note this product is only for domesc
use only and is not for commercial
use.
Abuse of your product will invalidate
the guarantee. Returned goods can
only be accepted if repackaged
properly within the original colour
product box, and presented with the
original receipt of sale/order number.
This does not aect your statutory
rights.
Returned products must be cleaned
and returned to us in as close to
delivery condion as possible.
If your product develops a problem
within the rst 12 months of the
xed warranty, we will pay all
shipping costs to have it returned to
us. Aer 12 months the customer will
be liable for the cost of returning the
product to us. We will then pay to
have the repaired/replaced item
shipped back to the customer.

full refund, you have the right to do

Customers are responsible for any
taxes applied to our products when
they are shipped outside of the EU.
All of our prices are inclusive of VAT.
Once a product has been returned to
us, we will aim to repair or replace it
within 30 days of receipt.
The guarantee does not cover any
defect arising from improper use,
damage, build-up of lime scale or
repair aempts made by third-
pares. Also, the guarantee does not
cover normal wear and tear of
individual parts.
Electrical Informaon
Always ensure the voltage on the
rang label corresponds to the power
supply where the product is being
used.
WARNING! This product must be
connected to an earthed electrical
power supply. The green/yellow
conductor in the supply cord must be
connected to the Earth terminal in the
plug. The power supply must have an
Earth connecon.

If a new mains plug needs to be ed
follow the ng instrucons supplied
with good quality BS1363A plugs. If in
doubt
consult a qualied electrician or
appliance repair agent.
Recommended fuse: 13 A.

Do not aempt to modify electrical
plugs or sockets or aempt to make an

must not be disposed of together with
ordinary household waste.

collecon organisaons may provide
for separate collecon of electrical
products, baeries and packaging.
