• Congratulations on choosing freestyler™ as your new styling iron,
createdbyAnoroc™withyouinmind.
• Thefreestylerhasbeenmanufacturedtothehigheststandardsand
willprovideyouwitheffective,reliableresultseverytimewhenused
inaccordancewiththestylingiron’sinstructions.
• Thestylingironoffersadvancedceramictourmalinetechnologythat
evenlydistributesheatoverceramicheatedplatesusingasoftware
supportedmicroprocessorforstabletemperaturecontrol.
• The freestyler styling irons will reach their optimum operating
temperature(200ºC)within60seconds.
• Themouldedshapeofthestylingironhasbeenspecicallydesigned
forcomfortandeaseofuse,witha3meterswivelcord,preventing
thecordfrombecomingentangled.

Protection
• The freestyler offers peace of mind, using negative ions that are
emitted from the rare tourmaline mineral to seal in natural oils,
moistureandcolourinthehair,givingyoubeautifullystyled,static-
freehaircompletewithanattractivehealthyshine.
Compliance
• The freestyler has undergone independent compliance testing by
Intertek,aninternationallyrecognisedelectricalappliancecertier
andcomplieswithregulationswithinNewZealandandcarriesthe
CEsymbolforpeaceofmind.
Use
• The freestyler is intended to be solely used as a hairstyling aid
and should not be used for any other purpose and only products
approvedbyareputablesalonorhairprofessionalshouldbeusedin
conjunctionwiththestylingiron.

Operation
• Thefreestylerwasdesignedwithauniversalvoltagefeaturetooperate
at110Vor230V(AConly)which,whentravelling,willautomatically
determineandadjusttotheincomingvoltage.
• Foradded safetythefreestylerhasabuiltinthermalfusethat will
automaticallycutoffthepowersupplyifthetemperatureistoohigh
and a current fuse that will again automatically cut off the power
supply if the current is too high or in the unlikely event any other
internalcomponentfails.
• In the unlikely event the freestyler fails to operate, contact Anoroc
Limited, no repair should be attempted by the user or any other
unauthorisedperson.
• Foradded safetythefreestyleris ttedwithasleepmodethat will
automaticallyturnofftheiron30minutesafterit’slastuse,howeverit
remainspowereduntiltheironisswitchedoff.Thestylingironwillemit
awarningbeepintermittentlyandtheLEDwillchangefromgreento
redandashuntiltheironisresetbyusingtheon/offswitch.

• Thefreestylerisreadytouseoncetheon/offswitchissettotheon
positionilluminatingtheLEDwitharedlightandwillemitasingle
beep.Whilstheating,theLEDwillashfromredtogreenandwhen
the optimal operating temperature has been reached (within 60
seconds)theLEDwillilluminatetheLEDwithagreenlightandwill
emitadoublebeeptoalerttheuser.
• If you have purchased a freestyler styling iron that is tted with
an adjustable temperature control, simply select the desired
temperature by turning the control dial and follow the above
procedure.
• Afterusing,alwaysturnoffandunplugthefreestylerandallowto
cool completely before storing, ensuring the power cord is never
wrappedaroundthestylingironasthismaydamagethepowercord
voidingyourwarranty.

Cleaning
• Ensure the styling iron is switched off, remove the plug from the
powersocketandleavetocompletelycoolbeforecleaning.
• Use a clean, soft slightly dampened cloth to remove any marks
orexcessmake-upfromtheoutsidecasingandapplywithasoft
dry cloth an approved product from a reputable salon or hair
professional directly onto the plates to remove any excess hair
productensuringnottoscratchtheplatesasthiswilllessonthe
effectivenessoftheplates.

For the safety of both yourself and others you should observe the
following safety precautions without exception:

• Neverattempttousethestylingironifithasbecomedefectiveor
malfunctionsinanyway

• Nevertouchtheplateswhentheyarehotandavoidanycontactwith
theskin
• Neverplacethestylingirononanyheatsensitivesurfaceandalways
allowtocoolcompletelybeforestoring
• Neverwrapthepowercordaroundthestylingiron
• Neverapplystylingproductsdirectlyontothestylingiron
