1. Safety information and warnings
1.1. Trial period
•Read the manual carefully and understand the different situations that may
arise. Become familiar with the controls for proper work and learn how to
quickly stop the machine in an emergency.
•Minors are not allowed to use the machine. Nor is anyone allowed to use
the machine if they have not read the manual.
•Keep the work area clear and free of people who could be harmed by the
machine.
1.2. Preparation
•Check the work area and remove any obstacles.
•Disconnect the blade drive and shift the machine into “N” gear before turning
it on.
•Do not use the machine if you do not have appropriate work clothing and
safety shoes.
•Be especially careful when handling fuel as it is very flammable:
oUse approved tanks for storage.
oDo not refuel the machine while it is running or when the engine is hot.
oRefuel in ventilated areas. Do not do this in closed areas due to the
toxic gases that may be released.
oTighten the fuel tank cap securely and wipe away any debris before
turning the machine back on.
•When the engine is running do not make any adjustments or changes to the
machine.
•Wear eye protection while driving or using the machine.
1.3. Operational
•Do not handle the blades with your feet or hands while the machine is on or
operating.
•Do not allow other people to be near the machine while you are working,
they may be injured. Pay special attention when working in any crowded
area.
•If the machine bounces while working, stop and check for damage before
continuing to work.
•Take care of your personal safety, avoid falls or slipping.
•If the machine makes a lot of noise, stop immediately and check the reason,
there may be serious damage.
•When not working with the machine, put the gear in neutral "N" and
ALWAYS turn off the engine.
•Before making any adjustment, cleaning, checking or repair on the machine,
the engine must be turned off and all working elements must be completely
