ELECTRONIC HEAT COST ALLOCATOR E-ITN 30
Description and usage
E-ITN 30 is modern electronic device intended for ratio
based allocation of eat cost in buildings wit central
eating system. Heat cost allocator E-ITN 30 uses t e two-
sensor measuring principle – integrates temperature
difference between sensor of radiator surface temperature
and sensor of surrounding temperature. Using t is principle,
allocator ensures measurement of consumption value only
w en t e radiator really emits eat. Agains to one-sensor
allocator it minimizes t e risk of summer consumption.
Allocator is equipped wit mec anic and electronic seal and
is delivered in sealed state wit activated electronic seal. In
t e case of unaut orized removing of base plate, t e
allocator saves t e date of breac of t e electronic seal to
its memory and stop to s ow measured data on t e display.
Only t e notice oPEn is displayed and indicates breac of
t e electronic seal, but allocator continues in measuring and
transmitting of measured data. Information about breac of
t e electronic seal is available in data transmitted by radio
module and in data transferred via IR interface.
Application
In one-tube orizontal/vertical and two-tube eating systems
wit t e lowest mean design eating medium temperature ≥
35 °C and ig est mean design eating medium
temperature ≤ 105 °C.
E-ITN 30 is not intended for eat cost allocation for floor
eating systems, ceiling radiant eating, flap controlled
radiators, radiators wit fan, systems wit steam eating
medium, air eaters and single tube radiators if exceeds t e
scope of one user. It must not be also used for eating
elements t at s ape and design does not allow reliable
transfer of eat to eat cost allocators.
Eac radiator in billing (account) unit wit common invoicing
eat meter must be equipped wit a eat cost allocator of
t e same type. Tec nical conditions of eating system must
be fulfilled w en using eat cost allocators E-ITN 30.

Installation o E-ITN 30
1. Install base plate to t e radiator according to t e
instructions in Installation and service manual.
2. Place allocator at t e upper end of t e aluminium back
plate, pus it down so t at t e locks in t e ousing fit
in t e aluminium back plate and pus t e bottom part
of allocator towards back plate. Allocator must be fixed
wit t e latc on bot sides of back plate.
Do not install allocator if notice Error or Open is displayed
on LCD.
Activation o E-ITN 30
I t e sign uPr is displayed on LCD, t e allocator must be
activated:
1. W en LCD is on and notice uPr is displayed, old t e
button till notice --A - - appears t at indicates submenu
activation.
2. Switc to item Act wit s ort button presses if
necessary.
3. W en notice Act appears, press and old t e button till
notice --A - - is displayed. W en you release t e button,
first menu item is displayed.
Reading o measured data
Basic allocator status and measured values can be
displayed on LCD. LCD can display five alp anumeric
c aracters. T ese values are ig lig ted by underline and
overline, e.g. oPEn. Meaning of some values may be
different if t e additional symbol „SM“ at t e rig t bottom
corner is displayed. T ese values are mentioned wit „SM“
symbol in text , e.g. 385 SM.
