Intended Use
The GlucoSure Autocode Blood Glucose Monitoring Syste is intended for the quantita-
tive easure ent of glucose in fresh capillary whole blood sa ples drawn fro the finger-
tips, forear , or pal . Testing is done outside the body (In Vitro diagnostic use). It is
intended for both lay use by people with diabetes and in a clinical setting by healthcare
professionals, as an aid to onitoring levels in Diabetes Mellitus. It is not in intended for
the diagnosis or screening of diabetes or for neonatal use.
IMPORTANT:
• Dehydration – Severe dehydration ay lead to inaccurate blood glucose test result. If you
suspect you are severely dehydrated, contact your healthcare professional i ediately.
• He atocrit range – A he atocrit range that is higher than 55% or lower than 30% can
cause inaccurate blood glucose test results.
• Not intended for use on neonates.

The GlucoSure Autocode Blood Glucose Test Strip
The Gluc Sure Aut c de Test Strips are gluc se specific, bi sens r-based test strips that
can test gluc se in capillary wh le bl d in as quickly as 6 sec nds and requires very little
bl d sample. The test result is plasma referenced f r easy c mparis n t lab results and
has under-fill detecti n t alert y u when there is n t en ugh bl d t perf rm a test, s
y u can be assure that each reading y u get is an accurate and meaningful result.
IMPORTANT:
• Be sure t use nly the Gluc Sure Aut c de Test Strip with the Gluc Sure Aut c de
Bl d Gluc se Meter. Other brands f test strips will n t w rk with the meter.
• The Gluc Sure Aut c de Bl d Gluc se Test Strips are sensitive t m isture and light
, it is imp rtant t cl se the vial cap f the test strip b ttle tightly after each use. DO
NOT leave any test strips utside the b ttle while n t in use.
• Carefully discard used test strips and lancets in pr per waste c ntainers.

Insert a new battery according to the direction fo nd on the battery
cover and inside the battery compartment. Slide the battery cover back
into the meter firmly.
NOTE:
• When yo change the battery, the meter a tomatically prompts yo to check the time and
date when t rned on either by a Test Strip or pressing “ .” If it is correct, press “ ”
again to exit, or if the time and date are not correct, on page 13 for Setting the Clock .
• The date and stored res lts will not be erased when the batteries are being changed.
• Discard sed batteries according to yo r local reg lation.
