ISOFIX: Fix attachment for the connection between child car
seat and vehicle seats having two rigid anchorages according
to UN ECE Regulation No. 14.
Top Tether (Apramo®Dual Tether™): Top Tether is a fix attach-
ment system for the connection between child car seat and
vehicle seats having the 3rd point of anchorage according to
UN ECE Regulation No. 14.
Apramo®Dual Tether™ is an advanced Top Tether system con-
sist of a length of straps, two tether adjusters and a snap hook
on the end of the strap.

1. Important Information
1.1 Suitability
This child restraint system is suitable for children from 0 up to 36 KG. (Group 0+/I/II/III, from birth to
approx. 12 years)

This child restraint system has been approved in accordance with UN ECE Regulation No. 44/04,
and is suitable for general use in vehicles and is compatible with the majority of vehicle seats.
This child restraint is classified for "Semi-universal" use and is suitable for fixing into the seat positions
of the cars listed in “Compatible Vehicles List” . If in doubt,consult either the child restraint manufac-
turer or the retailer. The mass group and the ISOFIX size classes for which this device is intended are:
Group 0+/I, classes C.
This is an ISOFIX child restraint system. It is approved to UN ECE Regulation No. 44/04 series of
amendments for general use in vehicles fitted with ISOFIX anchorages systems. It will fit vehicles with
positions approved as ISOFIX positions (as detailed in the vehicle handbook), depending on the
category of the child car seat and of the fixture. The mass group and the ISOFIX size classes for
which this device is intended are: Group I, classes B1.
This child restraint is classified for "Semi-universal" use and is suitable for fixing into the seat positions
of the cars listed in “Compatible Vehicles List” . This child restraint is suitable for use in the listed vehi-
cles fitted with 3-point vehicle belt approved to UN ECE Regulation No. 16 or other equivalent stan-
dards. If in doubt, consult either the child restraint manufacturer or the retailer.
This child restraint is suitable for use in the listed vehicles fitted with 3-point vehicle belt approved to

1.3 General safety information
WARNING!
Please follow the instructions in this manual carefully. Failure to follow the instructions may
affect your child’s safety. The manufacturer is not responsible for the incorrect use of this
product.
NEVER use this child car seat without the covers supplied. DO NOT replace the cover with
any other than those recommended by the manufacturer, as this may affect the safe use
and performance of the child car seat.
Please avoid the child car seat in the heat of sun, which could be too hot to cause injury
of your child.

Children are safer when properly restrained in rear vehicle seating positions, rather than front seat-
ing positions. DO NOT use this child restraint on a passenger seat fitted with a frontal airbag. You
can use your child car seat as illustrator.

Replace the child restraint if it has been subject to violent stresses in an accident. It may
have been damaged, but the damage may not be visible. If you require replacement
parts, please contact the manufacturer or the retailer.
Secure properly any heavy or sharp-edge objects which might be liable to cause injury in
the event of a collision.
Install the child restraint properly and make sure none of the parts become trapped by a
moving seat or in the door of the vehicle, during everyday use of the vehicle.
DO NOT modify, or add to the child restraint in any way without approval of a competent
authority,or the manufacturer, as this will void any warranty and may affect safety and
performance.
Always ensure that the child restraint is securely fastened, even when unoccupied, a
loose restraint can cause injuries in the event of a collision.
DO NOT leave your child unattended in the child restraint.
Dry metal parts after any contact with water to prevent the formation of rust.
DO NOT use this child restraint on a passenger seat fitted with a frontal airbag under any
circumstance.
The illustrations in this manual are for reference, may differ slightly from your seat model.
Make sure the product is bought from a decent sales channel. The manufacturer doesn’ t
guarantee the quality of second hand products.

2. Preparatory Work and Functions
2.1 Prepare ISOFIX
If your car is not equipped with the ISOFIX guide socket,
please insert the guide socket (02) into the ISOFIX anchor
(01).
TIP: ISOFIX anchors are located between the backrest
and seat cushion.
Press the ISOFIX button (03), push rearward to the longest
position, then insert the ISOFIX connectors (15) into the
guide socket (02) one by the other, an audible “click” will
be heard, with the ISOFIX indicator (16) turns to green.
Make sure the child car seat is installed with ISOFIX, rear-
ward facing and in fullest recline position.
Press the release button of the Top Tether adjuster B (47)
to release the Top Tether strap (48) to the maximum or
desired length.
Thread the Top Tether strap (48) through one of the belt
guides (17) with the one at the inner side of the vehicle
seat.
Hold the Top Tether adjuster A (46) horizontally, and use
the other hand pull the strap with the snap hook (18), to
the maximum or desired length.
Hook the snap hook (18) onto the Top Tether anchorage
point recommended in your vehicle handbook. Look for
this sign in your vehicle or check with your vehicle
dealer.
CAUTION! The ISOFIX connectors (15) are secured ONLY
when both indicators (16) are completely green.

CAUTION! The Top Tether (Apramo®Dual Tether™) is
secured ONLY when the indicator is completely green.
Hook the snap hook (18) onto the Top Tether anchorage
point recommended in your vehicle owner's guide. Look
for this sign in your vehicle or check with your vehi-
cle dealer.
Tighten the free end of Top Tether adjuster A (46) until the
Top Tether adjuster B (47) sat on top of the backrest of
vehicle seat.
Ensure the child car seat is at the desired recline posi-
tion, and then tighten the free end of Top Tether adjuster
B (47) until the indicator shows green.

Press down on the central adjuster (04) and pull the
shoulder belts (05) towards you, (DO NOT pull on the
shoulder pads (06)) release the 5-point harness as far as
it will go.
Pull upwards on the adjusting ring (07), whilst pulling up or
pushing down the headrest (08) to the required position.
Adjusting the height of the headrest (08) will allow for the
shoulder belts (05) to be the same level as the child’ s
shoulders.
CAUTION! The shoulder belts (05) must not run behind the
back of the child, at ear height, or above the ears.

Make sure the child car seat is installed with ISOFIX and
forward facing.
Press the release button of the Top Tether adjuster B (47)
to release the Top Tether strap (48) to the desired length.
Hold the Top Tether adjuster A (46) horizontally, and use
the other hand pull the strap with the snap hook (18), to
the maximum or desired length.
Hook the snap hook (18) onto the Top Tether anchorage
point recommended in your vehicle owner's guide. Look

Pull upwards on the adjusting ring (07) in the direction of
the arrow to the maximum height.
Press on the release handle (09) in the direction of the
arrow to release the headrest (08), and then adjust the
headrest (08) up or down to the desired position. Upon
release of this handle (09), the headrest will lock into
place automatically.
The headrest (08) is in the correct position when the
diagonal belt section (10) of the 3-point vehicle belt sits
on the child’ s shoulders and when you can fit 2 fingers
between the bottom edge of the headrest and the
shoulder of the child.

Press the release button of the Top Tether adjuster B (47)
to release the Top Tether strap (48) to the desired length.
Pull and hold the release handle (11) to adjust the child
car seat (12) to the desired recline position. Upon
release of this handle (11), the child car seat (12) will
lock into place automatically.
Ensure the child car seat is at the desired recline posi-
tion, and then tighten the free end of Top Tether adjuster
B (47) until the indicator shows green.
Pull the rotation button (13) outwards to release the child
car seat (12), and then rotate the child car seat (12) by
90º, at where the child car seat will lock into place auto-
matically.
To rotate it back to the rearward facing position: pull the
rotation button (13) outwards to release the child car
seat (12), and then rotate the child car seat (12) by 90º
back to the rearward facing position, at where the child
car seat will lock into place automatically.
Ensure the child car seat is at the rearward facing posi-
tion, and in fullest recline position.
Double check the Top Tether. If necessary, tighten the
free end of Top Tether adjuster B (47) until the indicator
shows green.
Pull and hold the release handle (11) to adjust the child
car seat (12) to the desired recline position. Upon release
of this handle (11), the child car seat (12) will lock into
place automatically.
CAUTION! The child restraint system must be always in
fullest recline position (Group 0+/I, Rearward Facing).

Pull the rotation button (13) outwards to release the child car seat (12), and then rotate the
child car seat (12) by 180º, at where the child car seat will lock into place automatically.
Unthread the Top Tether strap (48) out of the belt guide (17). (Refer to section 2.2.2)
Adjust the recline position to the desired position if necessary. (Refer to section 2.4.1)
Ensure the child car seat is at the forward facing position, and the desired recline position.
Then tighten the free end of Top Tether adjuster B (47) until the indicator shows green.
Press the release button of the Top Tether adjuster B (47) to release the Top Tether strap
(48) to the maximum or desired length.
Pull the rotation button (13) outwards to release the child car seat (12), and then rotate
the child car seat (12) by 90º or 180º, at where the child car seat will lock into place
automatically.

Ensure the child car seat is at the forward facing posi-
tion, and the desired recline position. Then tighten the
free end of Top Tether adjuster B (47) until the indicator
shows green.
Pull the rotation button (13) outwards to release the child
car seat (12), and then rotate the child car seat (12) by
90º or 180º, both left and right, at where the child car
seat will lock into place automatically.
CAUTION! The Top Tether (Apramo®Dual Tether™) is
secured ONLY when the indicator is completely green.
CAUTION! The child restraint system can ONLY be used
in forward or rearward facing position when travelling.
Always ensure that the rotating part of the child
restraint is fully engaged by trying to turn the child car
seat (12) around in both directions.

To rotate it back to the forward facing position: pull the rotation button (13) outwards to
release the child car seat (12), and then rotate the child car seat (12) back to the
forward facing position, at where the child car seat will lock into place automatically.

2.5.4 Without Top Tether (Apramo®Dual Tether™) (Group II/III)
Adjust the child car seat to the fullest recline position (Refer
to section 2.4.1) and make sure recline mechanism is
securely locked.
Rotate the child car seat (If necessary refer to section 2.5), to
the rear of the vehicle against the direction of travel.
Ensure that the child car seat is in the rearward facing posi-
tion and the rotation mechanism is securely locked.
Double check to make sure that the child car seat is in the
fullest reclined position.
Install the ISOFIX. (Refer to section 2.1)
Prepare the ISOFIX. (Refer to section 2.1)
Ensure that the 5-point harness is correctly installed. (Refer to section 5)
Ensure that the 5-point harness is correctly adjusted. (Refer to section 2.3.1)
Push the child seat towards the backrest applying a firm,
even pressure on both sides.
Install the Top Tether. (Refer to section 2.2.1)
3. Installation
3.1 Rearward Facing Installation
3.1.1 Group 0+/I (0 – 18 KG, birth to approx. 4 years) With 5-point harness + ISOFIX + Top

Press the red button (19) to release the 5-point harness
buckle and press on the central adjuster (04) to pull out
the shoulder belts (05). DO NOT pull on the shoulder
pads (06).
Place your child in the child car seat, and ensure that
your child's back is lying flat against the backrest of the child
car seat.
Guide the two buckle latches (20) together and insert
them into the 5-point harness buckle (19). An audible
“click” will be heard once the buckle is locked.

Pull the adjuster strap (21) towards you until the harness
lies flat and is close against your child's body.

Ensure that the child car seat is in the forward facing
position and the rotation mechanism is securely locked.
Place the child restraint on the vehicle seat facing the
front of the vehicle in the direction of travel.
Install the ISOFIX. (Refer to section 2.1)
Push the child car seat towards the backrest applying
firm, even pressure on both sides.
Install the Top Tether. (Refer to section 2.2.2)

Adjust the child car seat to the desired recline position (Refer to section 2.4.1)
and ensure that recline mechanism is securely locked.

anchors and the indicators are both completely
green.
The Top Tether (Apramo®Dual Tether™) is securely
installed and the indicator is completely green.
The child restraint is sat up against the backrest of the
vehicle seat.
The 5-point harness is fitted snugly to the child. Make sure you can fit no more than
one finger between the harness and the child’ s body, approximately 1 cm. If there is
more space, tighten the harness further.
The straps are not twisted.
The shoulder straps sit in the correct position on the child’s shoulders.
Any lap strap must be worn low down, so that the pelvis is firmly engaged.
The 5-point harness buckle is properly secured.

Secure your child in the child car seat with 5-point
harness. (Refer to section 3.1.2)

The ISOFIX connectors are securely engaged in the anchors and the indicators are
both completely green.
The Top Tether (Apramo®Dual Tether™) is securely installed and the indicator is com-
pletely green.
The child restraint is sat up against the backrest of the vehicle seat.
The 5-point harness is fitted snugly to the child. Make sure you can fit no more than
one finger between the harness and the child’ s body, approximately 1 cm. If there is

CAUTION! The 3-point vehicle belt buckle must not be positioned between the
red belt guide and the armrest. Please contact the manufacturer if in doubt.
CAUTION! DO NOT use any load bearing points other than those prescribed in
the instructions and marked in red on the child car seat.
CAUTION! Ensure that 3-point vehicle belt is not twisted at any point.
Place the child in the child car seat.
Pull out the 3-point vehicle belt as far as possible and
guide it around the front of the child, and secure the
vehicle seat buckle (24). An audible “click” will be heard
once the buckle is locked.
Place the diagonal belt section (10) and the lap belt
section (26) on the same side of the vehicle seat buckle
(24), under the armrest and through the red belt guide
gap (27) of the child car seat.
Place the lap belt section (26) on the opposite side of
the child car seat through the red belt guide gap (28).
Guide the diagonal belt section (10) through the red belt
guide (30) of the headrest (08), ensuring that the 3-point
vehicle belt is not twisted at any point.
Ensure that the diagonal belt of the 3-point vehicle belt
sits over the child’ s collar bone and not in front of their
neck.

The ISOFIX connectors are securely engaged in the anchors and the indicators are
both completely green.
The Top Tether (Apramo®Dual Tether™) is securely installed and the indicator is com-
pletely green.
The child car seat is sat up against the backrest of the vehicle seat.
The diagonal belt section (10) of the 3-point vehicle belt and the lap belt section (26)
on the side of vehicle seat buckle (24) are passed through the red belt guide gap (27).
The lap belt section (26) on the opposite side to the vehicle seat buckle (24) is passed
through the red belt guide gap (28).
The diagonal belt section (10) of the 3-point vehicle belt is passed through the red belt
guide (30) of the headrest (08).
The diagonal belt of the vehicle seat belt sits over the child’s collar bone
and not in front of their neck.
Any lap strap must be worn low down, so that the pelvis is firmly engaged.

TIP: If necessary, adjust the headrest to ensure that the seat

Remove the webbing (40) from the joint plate (32).
Place the joint plate (32) under the clip (33) shown in the
cover.
Press down on the central adjuster (04), and pull the
shoulder straps towards you (05), extending the 5-point

Pull the adjusting ring (07) upwards, whilst pushing the
headrest (08) downwards to its lowest position.

Press the ISOFIX release buttons to release the ISOFIX connectors, push the ISOFIX
connectors back into the base of the child restraint.
Press the release button of the Top Tether adjuster B (47) to release the strap and unlock
the snap hook (18) from the vehicle anchorage point.
Remove the child car seat from the vehicle seat.
Release the buckle tongue from the vehicle seat buckle. Unthread 3-point vehicle belt
from the child car seat and allow it to retract.
Press the ISOFIX release buttons to release the ISOFIX connectors, push the ISOFIX
connectors back into the base of the child restraint.
Press the release button of the Top Tether adjuster B (47) to release the strap and unlock
the snap hook (18) from the vehicle anchorage point.
Remove the child car seat from the vehicle seat.

Pull out the shoulder belts (05) and shoulder pads (06)
from the headrest slots (36) in front of the headrest.
Open the buckle (19) of the 5-point harness.
Unfasten the fabric cover (37) and place the buckle
latches into the child car seat back on each side, and
then refasten the fabric cover (37).
Turn the metal plate (38) to be vertical and remove from
the housing (39), remove the 5-point harness buckle (19).
Remove the loops of the shoulder pads (34) from the
headrest lever (35).

Turn the child car seat around so that the front is facing you.
5.1 Removal of the 5-point harness

Place the 5-point harness buckle (19) into the crotch pad
(41).
Turn the metal plate (38) of the 5-point harness buckle (19)
to be vertical and insert it into the housing (39). Slot B is
ONLY suitable for Group I at forward facing.
Unfasten the fabric cover (37) and take the buckle latches
out of the child car seat from each side, and then refasten
the fabric cover.
Guide the two buckle latches (20) together and insert them
into the 5-point harness buckle (19). An audible “click” will
be heard once the buckle is locked.
Press on the release handle (09) in the direction of the
arrow to release the headrest (08), and then adjust the
headrest (08) downwards to the lowest position. Pull the
headrest adjusting ring (07) upwards, whilst pushing the
headrest (08) downwards to its lowest position.
Thread both of the shoulder belts (05) through the shoulder
pads (06).

Buckle failure can cause injury. DO NOT use oil or other lubricants on any part of the 5-point
harness buckle. Buckle malfunctions are usually caused by a build-up of debris such as food
crumbs or other small particles.
CAUTION! Ensure that the straps are not twisted at any
point.
The buckle latches are slow to release when the red release button is pressed.
The buckle latches will not lock into the buckle securely (i.e. they are ejected again if you
try to push them in).
The buckle latches engage without an audible “click”.
The buckle latches are difficult to insert (you will feel resistance).
The buckle opens ONLY when extreme force is applied.
Thread the loops of both shoulder belts (05) and shoulder
pads (06) through the headrest slots (36). The straps of the
shoulder pads should be beneath the straps of shoulder
belt.
Fix the loops of the shoulder pads (34) onto the headrest
lever (35).
Remove the joint plate (32) from the clip (33) in the back.
Place the webbing loops of the shoulder straps (40) over
the joint plate (32).
Close up the child car seat rear cover (31).

6.1 Care for the 5-point harness buckle

To wash the harness buckle so that it functions as required:
Step 1:
Remove the 5-point harness buckle from the child car
seat. (Refer to section 5)
Step 2:
Soak the 5-point harness buckle in warm water with mild
washing-up liquid for at least an hour. Rinse and allow it to air dry
thoroughly before attaching back onto the child car seat.

Step 1:
Repeat the above steps in reverse order.
Step 2:
Fit the child car seat cover using the fabric tidier (43) to
ensure all covers and trims is fitted properly.
The internal cushion (45) of the child car seat cover is
suitable for Group I (9 – 18 KG, from approx. 9 months to
4 years).
The semicircle foam cushion (44) plus the internal cushion
(45) of the child car seat cover are suitable for Group 0+
(0 – 13 KG, from birth to approx. 18 months).
The child car seat cover is removable and washable. Please
refer to the fabric care label on the child car seat cover for full
instructions.
CAUTION: Always ensure that the covers and
harness straps are correctly installed. In case of
doubt, please contact the manufacturer or the
retailer for advice.

Ce système de retenue pour enfants a été homologué conformément à la norme UN ECE Règlement
n° 44/04 pour usage général et applicable à la majorité des sièges de véhicules.
Ce système de retenue pour enfants a été classifié «semi-universel» et convient à l'installation sur les
sièges répertoriés dans la «Liste des véhicules applicables». En cas de doute, consultez le fabricant ou
le revendeur. Le Groupe de poids et les classes de catégorie ISOFIX pour lesquels ce dispositif est
destiné sont: 0+/Groupe I, classe C.
C’ est un système de retenue pour enfants, homologué selon la norme UN ECE R 44/04 et ses amende-
ments pour une utilisation générale avec système d’ ancrage ISOFIX. Il peut être monté sur des véhicules
avec des positions approuvées comme positions ISOFIX (comme indiqué dans la notice d’ emploi du
véhicule), en fonction du type de siège auto pour et de la fixation. Le Groupe de poids et les classes de
catégorie ISOFIX pour lesquels ce dispositif est destiné sont : Groupe I, classe B1.
Ce système de retenue pour enfants est classé comme «semi-universe» et convient pour l’ installation sur les
sièges des véhicules figurant dans la «Liste des véhicules applicables». Ce système de retenue pour enfants

2.1 Préparation de l'ISOFIX
Si votre véhicule est équipé de guides pour les connect-
eurs ISOFIX (02) fixez-les dans les fentes des ancrages
ISOFIX (01)
Conseil:Les connecteurs ISOFIX sont situés entre le dos-
sier et l’assise.
Appuyez sur le bouton de l’ ISOFIX (03), repoussez vers
l’arrière au maximum,
insérez les connecteurs ISOFIX (15) dans les fentes (02)
jusqu'à ce que vous entendiez un «clic» et l'indicateur
ISOFIX (16) devienne vert.
Assurez-vous que le siège auto pour les enfants soit installé
avec ISOFIX dos à la route et la position entièrement
inclinée.
Appuyez sur le bouton de déverrouillage du régulateur du
Top Tether B (47) et décrochez la sangle du Top Tether (48)
à l’étendue maximale ou à la longueur désirée.
ATTENTION ! Les connecteurs ISOFIX (15) sont fixés
SEULEMENT lorsque les deux indicateurs (16) sont
complètement verts.

Enfilez la sangle du Top Tether (48) par un des guides

Maintenez le régulateur du Top Tether A (46) horizontale-

souhaitée.

Serrez le bout libre du régulateur du Top Tether B (47)
jusqu'à ce que l'indicateur devienne vert.

2.2.2 Groupe I, face à la route
Assurez-vous que le siège auto soit installé avec l’ ISOFIX
et face à la route.
Appuyez sur le bouton de déverrouillage du régulateur
du Top Tether B (47) pour dégager la sangle du Top
Tether (48) à la longueur désirée.
Maintenez le contrôleur du Top Tether A(46) horizontal, et
utilisez l'autre main pour tirer la sangle avec le crochet de
sécurité (18), jusqu'à la longueur maximale ou désirée.
Connectez le mousqueton (18) dans le point d'ancrage
du Top Tether recommandé par le constructeur du
véhicule. Recherchez ce marquage dans le véhicule
ou consultez votre revendeur.
Serrez le bout libre du régulateur du Top Tether A (46)
jusqu'à ce que le régulateur du Top Tether B (47) soit
au-dessus du dossier du siège du véhicule.
Assurez-vous que le siège auto pour enfants soit dans la
position inclinée désirée, puis serrez Le bout libre du régu-
lateur du Top Tether B (47) jusqu'à ce que l'indicateur devi-
enne vert.

Assurez-vous que le siège auto soit installé avec les con-
necteurs ISOFIX et positionné face à la route.
Appuyez sur le bouton du régulateur du Top Tether B (47)
pour désengager la sangle du Top Tether A (48) à la
longueur désirée.
Tenez le régulateur du Top Tether A (46) horizontalement
et utilisez l'autre main pour tirer la sangle avec le crochet
(18) à mousqueton jusqu'à la longueur maximale ou
désirée.
Accrochez le crochet à mousqueton (18) dans le point
d'ancrage du Top Tether recommandé dans le mode
d’emploi de votre véhicule. Recherchez ce signe
dans le véhicule ou contactez votre revendeur.
Serrez le bout libre du régulateur du Top Tether A (46)
jusqu'à ce que le régulateur du Top Tether B (47) soit
au-dessus du dossier du siège du véhicule.
Assurez-vous que le siège auto soit dans la position
inclinée désirée et serrez le régulateur du Top Tether B
(47) jusqu'à ce que l’indicateur devienne vert.
