SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
WARNING
This cot has been manufactured for one child only,with a maximum weight of 18kgs in cot conguration and
27kg when in cot bed conguration.
The drop side must be raised when the child is unsupervised.
When the mattress base is assembled in the lower position, ensure the higher cot base holes are covered
tightly with the lling bolts supplied.This is to prevent nger entrapment,swallowing and inhalation hazards.
ENSURE the cot is placed at a reasonable distance from curtains,blinds,heaters and power points.
ENSURE the cot is completely assembled and check that all parts are securely tightened before placing the
child into the cot.
ENSURE medication,string,elastic,small toys or small items such as money etc are always kept out of the
child’s reach when in the cot.
DO NOT over tighten bolts/screws.
DO NOT provide a foothold for your child to climb out by xing a toy or decoration to the inside of the cot
ENSURE that the child is clear of any moving parts when adjusting the cot.
For warranty purposes,keep your sales receipt to provide proof of purchase.
RECOMMENDED MATTRESS SIZE (SOLD SEPARATELY):
THIS COT HAS BEEN MANUFACTURED FOR USE WITH A MATTRESS WHICH MEASURES 1300MM LONG BY
690MM WIDE AND 100-150MM IN THICKNESS.
The width and length are specied because it is important that the gaps between the mattress and the sides
and ends of the cot will not exceed 40 mm when the mattress is pushed to one side or end,and 20mm when
the mattress is centred in the cot.
This is to minimise the risk of a child’s limb becoming caught in the gap.
The thickness of the mattress has been specied to ensure that the depth of the cot is greater than 500 mm
with the mattress base in the lower position and is greater than 300mm with the mattress base in the upper
position,to minimise the risk of a child climbing or falling out of the cot.

To attach Top Rails...

Select either the Flat Top Rails or the Arch Top Rails to
be attached to the end panel.
Store other top rails.
Place selected top rail on top of end panel.
Secure with 82mm bolts by inserting them
underneath the top end panel as shown. Tighten with
supplied allen key.
Repeat previous step for the opposite end panel.
It is advisable that two people assemble the cot in the room in which it is to be
used.
As small parts are involved in assembly, children should be kept clear of the
assembly area.
Dispose of all packaging material immediately after the cot is assembled.
Identify all parts and components.
Clear an area on the floor for assembly and place a sheet on the floor to ensure
the cot is not scratched during assembly.

PLEASE NOTE! Previous steps under ‘To attach Top Rails’ apply to both Flat Top Rail
and Arch Top Rail.
To prepare End Panels...
1Screw the drop side round plastic guides into
each end panel with the threaded bolt.
Screw the locating guide pins into position.

To attach Fixed Side...
1Attach one end panel to the fixed side panel
using two x 43mm bolts.
Tighten bolts until firm.
Repeat for other end panel.

To attach Mattress Base...

Lay the cot down on the fixed side.
Carefully slide the mattress base between the
end panels.
Locate the holes in end panel and secure using two x
43mm bolts.
Repeat for other end of mattress base.
Tighten all bolts securely.

WARNING! Do not over-tighten bolts.
To fit the Drop Side Panel...
1Loosen upper mattress bolts 6 turns.
Place the drop side between the end panels, making
sure the small slot in the drop side panel track is
facing toward the mattress base.

PLEASE NOTE! Fitting the drop side panel is easier with 2 people.

To fit the Drop Side Panel continued...
2Align and insert the round guide plastic (on the
end panel) at the top of the track in the drop
side panel on both ends.

Slide the drop side up to allow the locating pin to
match up with the small track on the drop side.
Move end panel outwards and release when guide
pin locates in the small track.
Repeat for other end.
Remember to re-tighten mattress base bolts.
Carefully stand cot upright and check that all bolts
are firm.

To operate Drop Side Panel...
Mattress Base Heights...

To Lower Drop Side Panel
Lift the drop side panel in the centre and push
lower rail inwards with your leg, allowing it to
lower in to place.
Mattress base in High Position
The base height is set for when your baby is young and cannot sit up
unaided.
Mattress base in Low Position.
This is the normal position for an active baby who can sit up unaided.
To Raise Drop Side Panel
Lift the drop side panel in the centre and raise
up until it locks in to place.

PLEASE NOTE! To ensure the drop-side mechanism functions properly please
ensure that the contour top rail of the drop-side panel is in the upper most
position as shown. Please ensure that the xed side panel also has the contour
top rail in the upper most position.

To lower Mattress Base Height...

Remove the two filling bolts and nuts from each
of the end panels.
Lay down the cot on a side panel.
Remove the four mattress base bolts from the
end panels.
Carefully slide the base to match the lower
holes and replace mattress base bolts.

To convert to Toddler Bed Mode...
1Lay the cot down with drop side facing up.
Loosen upper mattress base bolts 6 turns.

PLEASE NOTE! Re-t lling bolt and nut to the higher base positions to prevent
possible nger entrapment.
THIS COT IS DESIGNED TO BE USED AS A TODDLER BED WHEN IT IS ASSEMBLED WITHTHE
COT BED RAILS (INCLUDED).
THETODDLER BED IS ONLY DESIGNED FOR USE WHENTHE CHILD CAN GET ON AND OFF
THE BED UNAIDED,AT APPROXIMATELY 2-5YEARS OF AGE.
THE COT BED RAILS ARE ONLY DESIGNED FOR USE WITH BEBE CARE COTS AND
RECOMMENDED WITHTHE INNER SPRING MATTRESS WHICH HASTHE FOLLOWING
DIMENSIONS:(1300MM LONG X 690MM WIDE X 100-150MMTHICK).

Carefully move end panel outwards to release
the locating pin from the track.
Repeat for other side.
With both locating pins released, slide the drop
side panel down to release the plastic guide at
the end of the track.
Lift drop side panel off.
Carefully turn cot back onto its feet.
Remove two filler bolts from both end panels.
Unscrew plastic guides and remove locating
pins from both end panels.
Insert two barrel nuts into each end of the toddler
bed rails.
Position bed rails between end panels.
Screw two x 83mm bolts through end panel
into bed rail.
Tighten four bed-rail bolts and 2 mattress bolts
until firm.

To convert to Toddler Bed Mode continued...
WARNING! Do not over-tighten bolts.
PLEASE NOTE! Slot in the barrel nuts need to be facing end panel.

Undo four x 43mm side panel bolts and
remove fixed side panel.
Repeat steps 4b - 6c.
The toddler bed is now ready for use.

with the mattress base in the lower position.
Lay the cot down with drop side facing up.
Loosen upper mattress base bolts 6 turns.
Carefully move end panel outwards to release

Repeat for other side.
With both locating pins released, slide the drop
side panel down to release the plastic guide at
the end of the track.
Lift drop side panel off.

Unscrew plastic guides and remove locating
pins from both end panels.
Carefully stand sofa cot back onto its feet.
Tighten all bolts on mattress base.

Cleaning
Maintenance
This product has been designed and developed with safety, comfort and
functionality in mind. Please take the time to read this manual carefully before
using this product and keep it in a safe place for future reference.
To ensure the long-lasting use of your cot, wipe down with a damp cloth and
use a mild soap solution if necessary. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Always
store product in a clean dry place.
Always check parts regularly for tightness of screws, nuts and other fasteners
– tighten or replace if required. To maintain the safety of your cot, seek
prompt repairs for bent, torn, worn or broken parts. Use only those parts and
accessories approved by CNP Brands.
