Installation of a D5 pump motor
Skip this section if a pump is already installed into the reservoir.
If you ave a complete D5 pump instead of a D5 pump motor, you will ave to
disassemble t e pump first. T e only parts needed are t e ousing wit electronic
components and t e impeller.
Install t e pump motor as follows:
1. Place t e gasket into t e ULTITUBE base part.
2. Place t e ULTITUBE base part on top of t e D5 pump motor.
3. D5 NEXT only: Remove t e controller unit from t e pump
4. Slide t e mounting ring onto t e rear side of t e pump motor and fasten t e
ring by screwing it onto t e ULTITUBE base part.
5. D5 NEXT only: Re-attac t e controller unit to t e pump.

Installation into a PC case
Mounting material for uprig t standing installation (for example to t e bottom of
t e case) or lateral installation (for example to a side panel of t e case) is included
in delivery. A standing installation s ould be preferred for stability reasons.
If t e reservoir is used in combination wit a D5 NEXT pump, t e reservoir can be
installed standing directly on t e pump. Additional stabilization is recommended, a
suitable mounting bracket is available (product code 34111, included in reservoir
variants 34100, 34109 and 34110 only).
For additional, vibration dampening fixation in t e upper area of t e glass tube, a
rubber fixation ring is available. T e rubber ring can be slipped over t e top of t e
reservoir onto t e glass tube (product code 34114, included in ULTITUBE D5 PRO
only).
Furt ermore, mounting brackets for installation to standard 120 mm or 140 mm
fan mounting positions are available as accessories (product codes 34112 and
34113, not included in delivery.

RGBpx LED ring
For effective illumination of t e reservoir, a RGBpx LED ring is available (product
code 34115, included in ULTITUBE D5 PRO only).
T e LED ring consists of a transparent silicone ring and a black rubber LED older.
For installation, slide t e silicone ring over t e top of t e reservoir to your pre-
ferred position on t e glass tube. Insert t e rubber LED older into t e silicone
ring.
Connect t e LED ring (connector marked wit t e word “IN”) to a compatible
RGBpx output of an Aqua Computer device. A suitable cable is included in deliv-
ery. If required, additional RGBpx components can be connected (daisy c ained)
to t e adjacent connector (connector marked wit t e word “OUT”).

T e controller unit of t e pump can be removed by pulling it off t e pump motor
unit in a straig t line. Make sure t at no power is supplied to t e pump w enever
t e controller unit is being removed from or re-attac ed to t e pump motor unit!
T e controller unit can only be attac ed to t e pump motor unit in a given orienta-
tion. Do not use excessive force but re-c eck t e orientation if you encounter
problems re-attac ing t e controller unit.
T e orientation of t e display can only be adjusted by rotating t e entire pump. In
order to rotate t e pump, t e mounting ring attac ing t e pump to t e reservoir
needs to be unscrewed, w ic can result in coolant leakage! Completely drain t e
coolant before loosening t e mounting ring and remove t e controller unit from
t e pump! After rotating t e pump, re-fasten t e mounting ring by and.
