1 Product and Application
The AS Fill seasonbacterialterisspecicallydesigned
forllingmobiletanksusedinrecreationalvehicles(such
asmotorhomes,caravansorboats)withbacteriafreewater.
Thelterisconnectedtotheendofthellinghoseusinga
standardhoseadaptercreatingaphysicalbarrierforgerms
anddirtparticlesdirectlybeforeentrytothetank.The0.2µm
membraneinsidethelterensuresthatanyharmfulbacteria
orparticlesareblocked.Thisbacterialretentioncomplieswith
theLog7medicalstandardwiththeresultthatonlyclean
waterentersthetankandthedrinkingwatersystem.
Please note the following:
Beforeusingthelterforthersttime,theentiredrinking
watersysteminyourcampervanorboatshouldbe
thoroughlycleanedanddisinfected.Ifyouhaveany
questionsrelatingtocleaning/disinfection,pleasecontact
yourspecialistdealer.
To ensure the safe operation of your lter please read this
information prior to use and follow all instructions carefully.
5 Duration of use / Changing the lter
Dependingonthefrequencyofuseandwaterquality,theltercanbeusedforoneseason(i.e.upto6
monthsafterrst-timeuse).Ifthewaterowissolowastobeinsufcient,theltershouldbechanged
beforethisperiodisup.Connectionsandaccessoriescanbere-used.Pleaseensurethatthedevice
maintainsanimpeccablehygienicandfunctionalcondition.
Changing the lter:
• Layoutanew AS Fill seasonlterforchanging.
• Unscrewtheconnectionsfromtheusedlter,disinfecting/cleaningifnecessary,andscrewthemonto
thenewlter(see3).
• Continueasdescribedin4.
• Disposeoftheusedlterashouseholdwaste.
The manufacturer does not accept any liability for damage to the lter incurred by non-compliance
with these instructions for use.
Intheeventofamalfunction,theproductshouldbereturnedtoAquafree usingthe“ComplaintsReport”
form(canbedownloadedintheServiceareaatwww.aqua-free.com).

4 Handling the lter
• Useahosewithanappropriateadaptertoconnectthelter.
• Ifasuitableadaptorisnottted,usethesuppliedhose
adapter(5).Attachittothehoseandsecureittightlyto
avoidleaks.
• Removethesealingcapsfromthelterconnectorsandstore
inasafeplace.
• Connectthelterinletconnectortothehoseadapter(5).
Please note the ow direction of the lter (see arrow on the lter).
• Connectthellinghose(4)tothelteroutletconnectorand
 inserttheopenendofthehoseintothetank.
• Alternatively,tousethetanklidandangleadaptors(available
 asoptionalaccessories)screwthetanklidadaptertothetank
 inletandthenconnecttheangleadaptortothelteroutlet.
• Turnonthewatersupplyandstartllingthetank.
• Oncethetankisfull,turnoffthewatersupply,disconnectthe
 lterfromthehosesanddrainbriey.
• Usethesealingcapstosealthelterinletandoutletinorder
 topreventwaterfromleakingoutandputthelterintothe
 storagecaseforasafekeeping.
• Ensurethatthellinghoseandotheraccessoriesareasdryas
possiblebeforeputtingthemtoointothestoragecase.
Important information, please note:
• Afterusingthelterforthersttime,itshouldbeusedregularly,
i.e.atleastevery2-3weeks.Ifthetankisnotlledthisfrequently,
theltershouldberinsedfor1-2minutes(notingtheowdirection)
underacoldtap.
• Inyourowninterests,alwayskeepthellinghose,accessoriesandsealingcapsaswellasthe
lteroutletcleanandmakesurethattheyarenotleftontheground.Thiswillensurethatthe
lteredwaterkeptisfreeofcontamination.
• Protectthelterfromfrost.
• Protectthelterfromdamageanddonotletitfall.
Recommendations:Ifthecampervanorboatisnotusedforalongeroftime,thedrinkingwater
systemshouldbedrainedinfull.Whenusingyourownhose,itshouldbedriedoptimallyafteruse.
Werecommendushingthesupplyhosethoroughlybeforeconnectingthelter.
