Membranluftpumpe für Aquarien mit einer maximalen Förderkapazität von 2.500 l/Std. (Mistral
2000) bzw. 4.000 Litern/Stunde (Mistral 4000).
Mit dem Kauf dieser Pumpe haben Sie si h für ein Qualitätsgerät ents hieden. Sie ist speziell für den
aquaristis hen Gebrau h entwi kelt worden und von Fa hleuten erprobt.
1. Eigenschaften
Die Membranluftpumpen der Mistral Reihe sind Universalgeräte. Sie sind ausgelegt für eine lange Lebensdauer
bei hoher Leistung. Das Gehäuse besteht aus massivem Aluminiumguss. In Verbindung mit der Lagerung und
den s hwingungsdämpfenden Füßen führt dies zu einem besonders ruhigen Betrieb.

3. Anschluss
Die Pumpe wird über einen Lufts hlau h mit 12 mm Dur hmesser mit dem Verbrau her verbunden. Beim Betrieb
mit Ozon muss ozonfester S hlau h (z. B. Silikons hlau h) verwendet werden. Beim Betrieb mehrerer

Verbrau her kann der mitgelieferte Verteiler verwendet werden. Daran können 10 Verbrau her über einen 6/4
Aquarienlufts hlau h anges hlossen werden.
4. Aufstellung
Die Pumpe muss tro ken aufgestellt werden. Außerdem muss verhindert werden, dass bei Stromausfall oder
abges halteter Pumpe Wasser über den Lufts hlau h in die Pumpe gelangt. Es gibt zwei
Aufstellungsmögli hkeiten:
- oberhalb des Wasserspiegels
- unterhalb des Wasserspiegels. In diesem Fall muss ein gutes Rü ks hlagventil in die Luftleitung ges haltet
werden.
Die Aufstellung hat so zu erfolgen, dass der Netzste ker au h na h der Aufstellung zugängli h bleibt.

5. Wartung/Reinigung
Luftfilter: An der Oberseite der Pumpe befindet si h der Lufteintritt und der Luftfilter. Je na h
Vers hmutzungsgrad der Luft muss die Watte im Luftfilter regelmäßig gewe hselt werden. Dazu wird die
S hraube am Filter mit dem S hraubenzieher gelöst. Die Watte kann jetzt lei ht getaus ht werden .
6. Störungen
Die Pumpe läuft über lange Zeit wartungsfrei. Bei Leistungsverlusten ist zunä hst der Luftfilter zu überprüfen
(s. o.). Lässt si h der Fehler dur h Austaus h des Luftfilters ni ht beheben, kann die Membrangarnitur in der
Pumpe gewe hselt werden.
7. Garantie
AB Aqua Medi GmbH gewährt eine 24-monatige Garantie ab Kaufdatum auf alle Material- und
Verarbeitungsfehler des Gerätes. Als Garantiena hweis gilt der Original-Kaufbeleg. Während dieser Zeit werden
wir das Produkt kostenlos dur h Einbau neuer oder erneuerter Teile instand setzen (ausgenommen
Fra htkosten). Im Fall, dass während oder na h Ablauf der Garantiezeit Probleme mit Ihrem Gerät auftreten,
wenden Sie si h bitte an Ihren Fa hhändler. Diese Garantie gilt nur für den Erstkäufer. Sie de kt nur Material-
und Verarbeitungsfehler, die bei bestimmungsgemäßem Gebrau h auftreten. Sie gilt ni ht bei S häden dur h
Transporte oder unsa hgemäße Behandlung, Fahrlässigkeit, fals hen Einbau sowie Eingriffen und
Veränderungen, die von ni ht-autorisierten Stellen vorgenommen wurden.
AB Aqua Medi GmbH haftet ni ht für Folges häden, die dur h den Gebrau h des Gerätes entstehen.

Sicherheitshinweise
Die Pumpe ist nur zur Verwendung in ges hlossenen Räumen zugelassen. Bei Arbeiten an der Pumpe muss
der Netzste ker gezogen werden. Bei Bes hädigung des Kabels darf die Pumpe ni ht betrieben werden.

In pur hasing this unit, you have sele ted a top quality produ t. It has been spe ifi ally designed for aquarium
use and has been tested by experts. This unit will effi iently meet the air supply requirements of most types of
aquarium.
1. Features
The Mistral membrane air pumps are designed for universal use. The housing is made from ast aluminium and
this, ombined with the magneti ontrol system and the vibration redu ing rubber feet, results in ex eptionally
quiet operation.

3. Connections
The pump is onne ted to the equipment it supplies with an aquarium air hose (12 mm, ½”). If ozone is to be
used, ozone resistant tubing (e. g. sili one) must be used after the ozonizer. When operating several onsumers
the distributor provided an be used. 10 onsumers an be atta hed via a 6/4 aquarium air hose.

4. Installation
The pump should be positioned in a dry pla e. Care should be taken to ensure that water annot enter the pump
when, for instan e, it is swit hed off for aquarium maintenan e or during a power failure. There are two methods
of installation:
- above the water level – see Fig. A below
- below the water level. In this ase, a reliable non-return valve must be fitted in the air line – see Fig. B
below.
Ensure that the power plug an easily be rea hed at any time.

5. Maintenance/Cleaning
The pump is onstru ted for long-term low-maintenan e operation. The only item requiring regular attention is
the air filter. The air filter is positioned at the top of the pump. This otton filter has to be hanged at regular
intervals dependant on the quality of ambient air. To hange the filter, undo the se uring s rew, remove the
plasti ap, remove the ontaminated filter pad, fit a genuine Aqua Medi repla ement and repla e the ap,
finally repla ing the se uring s rew.
6. Failures
The pump is onstru ted for long-term low maintenan e operation. In ase of a de rease in air apa ity that is
not remedied by repla ing the air filter, it will be ne essary to repla e the membrane inside the pump.
7. Warranty
Should any defe t in materials or workmanship be found within 24 months of the date of pur hase AB Aqua
Medi undertakes to repair, or at our option repla e, the defe tive part free of harge – always provided the
produ t has been installed orre tly, is used for the purpose that was intended by us, is used in a ordan e with
the operating instru tions and is returned to us arriage paid. Proof of Pur hase is required by presentation of
the original invoi e or re eipt indi ating the dealer’s name, the model number and date of pur hase. This
warranty may not apply if any model or produ tion number has been altered, deleted or removed, unauthorised
persons or organisations have exe uted repairs, modifi ations or alterations, or damage is aused by a ident,
misuse or negle t. Please note that the produ t is not defe tive under the terms of this Warranty where the
produ t, or any of its omponent parts, was not originally designed and / or manufa tured for the market in
whi h it is used. These statements do not affe t your statutory rights as a ustomer.

Security advices
The pump is onstru ted for indoor use only. Before working at the pump, the power plug has to be removed.
The onne tion able and the power plug may not be hanged. If the power able is damaged, the pump may
not be used any more.
