The AMK-WB Time Window
Explanation:
1. The AMK-WB can be user programmed to
keep the water hot in a room for some
amount of time. This time interval can be
programmed to: 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 30
minutes or 60 minutes.
This is the time that the AMK-WB and Hot
pump will keep giving you hot water. All
units have been programmed for 30
minutes.
2. For example, say that you come into the
room and want to use hot water for 5
minutes (like for shaving) then not use hot
water for 15 minutes, then use hot water
again for a shower , then you would want to
program the AMK-WB for 30 minutes.
During this time, the Hot pump will
automatically work when it needs to in order
to keep your water hot.
3. For example, if the AMK-WB is in a
bathroom with only a sink, and you just want
to come into the room and want to use hot
water for 5 minutes (like for washing your
hands), then you would want to program the
AMK-WB for 5 minutes.
4. For example, say that the AMK-WB is in
your kitchen and you want to use hot water
for 5 minutes (to fill a pot) then not use hot
water for 15 minutes while preparing food.
Then you use hot water again for to clean
some dishes. If you keep cooking and using
hot water like this for one hour, then you
may want to program the AMK-WB for 60
minutes. During this time, the Hot pump will
automatically work when it needs to in order
to keep your water hot.
5. This time can be set by following steps 9 to
13 above in the Instructions for
Programming of the AMK-WB.
Changing the Battery:
1. When the Red lamp on the front of the
transmitter does not flash during operation,
then it is time to change the battery.
2. Slide open the battery cover on the back of
the transmitter. Remove the old battery and
replace it with a new lithium battery CR-
2032. Make sure that the positive side is
facing up. Slide the battery cover closed.
