INFLATING YOUR KAYAK
DEFLATING YOUR KAYAK
Unroll and unfold the kayak and lay flat on
a smooth surface - do not set up on sharp
rocks or shells, or drag the kayak.
Ensure the side tube valves are securely
screwed into their ring plate. Attach the
air tap on your pump to each side tube,
inflating to 1.5 PSI / 0.1 bar. Once inflated,
firmly cap the valve.
If possible allow your kayak to dry
before deflating and packing away.
Follow the same procedure for the kayak
floor. Secure the valve to the ring plate,
attach the pump air tap and inflate to 1.5
PSI / 0.1 bar. Cap the valve when done.

Unscrew the ring plate from the kayak
floor, followed by both the side tubes.
For compact storage your kayak should
be as flat as possible. Once flattened,
please roll and fold the kayak from the
nose down.
Remove the fin. Detach the seats and any
other bags, straps or other items
connected to your kayak.

THE PADDLE
Connect the blades to the shaft by
depressing the sprung pin in the blade
and sliding into the shaft - the pin will pop
out through a hole. Repeat for all sections
of the paddle.

Check the kayak looks straight. If a twist is
present, deflate, adjust and re-inflate.

The seat attaches to the kayak floor with
velcro. Solo paddlers should position the
seat slightly behind the centre. For
2-person kayaks, the heavier paddler
should be sat at the rear of the kayak.
ATTACH THE SEAT

Turn the kayak upside down. Slide the fin
into the fin box and then insert the
locking pin through both the fin box
channel and fin base to secure in place.

Once attached to the floor, connect the
seat straps to the side tube D-rings,
forward of the seat. Adjust the straps to
ensure an upright position.
