Introduction
The LS100 is a reader/scanner created to operate easily and silently, with a modern design and a
compact size. Thanks to these features the LS100 is the most suitable peripheral for all applications
where the available space is very small.
It has been designed especially for banking and financial institutions to be installed at cashier front
desks to carry out all necessary functions easily and without taking up too much space.
The LS100 can process both a single document at a time, to be manually inserted through a manual
drop feeder, and up to 15 documents to be automatically inserted in case the optional motorized
feeder is present.
It can read the codeline MICR, CMC7 / E13B or OCR, print a message on the back of the document
for completing endorsement stamp and scan both sides of the document.
The processed documents are deposited into the output pocket. Connection to the system is by USB
2.1 (USB1.1 compatible).
The peripheral can retain the document after it has read the codeline and scanned the front image,
return it in the input slot for endorsing the document depending on of the results of the codeline or
on the data extracted from the image.
In case the application requires first to process the code line and then to archive the image, the
LS100 can read the code line and send it in the real time, store the image and send it afterwards in
background.
