inaprotectionenclosure.Tomountit,youwillrequirethemountingscrewsfoundintheaccessorybox.
Step3. Useascrewdrivertotightenthefourscrews,makesurethattheARD-1008RXiscorrectlyand
securelysituatedintotheenclosure.
Step2. Takethecoverontheenclosure,andalignthescrewholesontheenclosurewiththescrewholeson
thecover.

BeforeconnectingtheARD-1008RXextenderreceiver,youshouldprepareAristaARD-1007LocalHost(ARD-1007TX) 
inhand,thenpleasefollowtheinstructionsbelowtodotheconnections.
1. ConnecttheHDMI cable andRS-232cable(touch signal) between theARD-1007TX and yourPC(BOX
PC-138G)forHDMIsignalinput.
2. ConnectthePCandtheARD-1007TX(USBHostconnector)viaUSBcablefor controllingbymouseand
keyboardonthetouchdisplayscreen.
3. ConnectthedisplaymonitorandtheARD-1007TX(HDMILoopOutconnector)byHDMIcable.
4. ConnectoneendoftheCat5e/Cat6cabletotheLocalOutconnectorofARD-1007TX,andconnecttheother
endtotheRemoteInportattherearoftheARD-1008RX.
5. ConnecttheHDMI cableandRS-232 cable betweentheARD-1008RXand the touchdisplayfor HDMI
signalandtouchsignaloutput.
6.InsertaUSBdeviceontheARD-1008RXifyouhaveUSBconnectionbetweenthePCandARD-1007TX.
7. Connectoneendof the suppliedpoweradapter to DC48Vpowerconnector of theARD-1007TX, and
connecttheotherendtothewallACoutlet.
8.If you require network connection, connecttheLAN1_HUB_LAN2portontheARD-1007TX toaRouter
andconnecttheLANportontheARD-1008RXtoyourdesirednetworkdevice.
9.Ifyourequireremotecontrol,insertRemotecontrolconnectorterminalintotheIRRemotecontrol(In/Out)
connectorontheARD-1007TXandARD-1008RXboth.

TheArista Corporation warrantstheARD-1008RX HDMIDigitalExtenderReceiver to befreefrom defects
inthematerial and workmanshipfor2 year fromthedate of purchasefromtheAristaCorporationor an
authorizeddealer.Shouldthisproduct fail tobe in goodworking order within2year warranty period,The
AristaCorp.,atitsoption,repairorreplacetheunit,providedthattheunithasnotbeensubjectedtoaccident,
disaster,abuseoranyunauthorizedmodicationsincludingstaticdischargeandpowersurges.
Unitthatfails under conditionsotherthan those coveredwillbe repaired atthe current price ofparts and
laborine󰀨ect at thetimeof repair.Suchrepairs are warrantedfor 90 daysfromthe day ofreshipmentto
theBUYER. Iftheunitisdeliveredbymail,customersagreetoinsuretheunit orassumetheriskoflossor
damageintransit.Undernocircumstanceswillaunitbeacceptedwithoutareturnauthorizationnumber.

No power
• Insertthepowerplugproperlyintothepoweroutlet.
• CheckiftheON/OFFbuttononthedisplayissetto“on”.
• CheckifthereispowerattheACoutletbyplugginganotherdeviceforatest.
No signal on the Local Host or Remote device.
• Checkifallthecablesareconnectedcorrectly.
