OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Description of the heating elements
The radiant elements A-B-C consist of circ lar heating
elements. These become red a few seconds after they
have been switched on.
They are extremely easy to se beca se they are similar
to the other heating elements. Please refer to table 1.
Control knobs
Each cooking zone is fitted with a control knob E,
which can be sed to contin o sly adj st the tempe-
rat re intensity level to val es between a minim m of
1 and a maxim m of 12. Table1 lists the
correspondences between the positions indicated on
the knob and the se for which the hotplates are
recommended.
The A-B hotplate control knob s ally only activates
the small / part of the hotplate. To activate
the entire large hotplate, t rn the knob past position
12, to the / symbol; a click will indicate that
the entire hotplate has been activated. The tempera-
t re level may now be adj sted to the desired val e,
p to level 12, sing the same knob.

temperat re greater than 60°C, even after the cooking
zones have been switched off. The hob is fitted with 4
resid al heat indicator lights, one for each cooking zone.
Advice for the operation of the ceramic glass
hob
To achieve the best res lts sing yo r hob, there are
several basic s ggestions which sho ld be taken into
acco nt while cooking or preparing food.
 Use pans with a flat base so as to ens re the pan
adheres properly to the cooking zone.
 Always se pans with a diameter which is large
eno gh to cover the cooking zone f lly, in order to se
all the available heat.
 Make s re that pan bases are always clean and dry,
in order to g arantee perfect contact with the hob and
to safeg ard the d rability of the hotplates and the
pans themselves.
 Do not se cookware which has been sed with gas
b rners. The concentration of heat from gas b rners is
s ch that it may warp the base of the pan, and therefore
the desired res lt will never be achieved if it is then
sed on the glass ceramic hob.

MULTIFUNCTIONAL
ELECTRIC OVEN
The oven offers new, different combinations of electrical
heating elements; by selecting the most s itable
combination for the dish yo wish to cook, the res lts
achieved will be very precise.
The vario s f nctions can be selected by t rning
selector knob G to the following positions:
After selecting the cooking f nction, set thermostat
knob F to the desired temperat re.
 For normal cooking proced res sing conventional
methods (roasts, bisc its, etc.), se the f nction
(heat from above + below).
Only place the foods to be cooked in the oven when
the selected temperat re has been reached and, if
possible, se only one shelf.
If yo wish more heat to be generated below or above
the dish, t rn the selector to position (heat from
below), (heat from below + fan) or (heat from
above).
 With f nction (fan), cooking takes place thro gh
the action of air which has been preheated by a
heating element and which is then circ lated inside
the oven by a fan. The oven heats p very q ickly,
therefore the foods yo wish to cook may also be
placed inside the oven as soon as it is switched on.
It is also possible to cook sing two shelves at the
same time.
 The quick defrosting f nction takes place
witho t sing the heating elements; only the oven
light and the fan are activated.
 Cooking with the grill ses a high power level, which
makes it possible to brown the s rface of foods
q ickly; it is partic larly s ited to the cooking of
meats, which sho ld remain soft and j icy on the
inside.
To cook with the grill, t rn selector knob G to one
of the following positions: (grill), (maxigrill),
(maxigrill with fan).
While the grill is operating, the oven door
must be kept shut. he thermostat knob
should also be positioned at a maximum of
200°C.
Oven light
Lighting inside the oven is obtained a tomatically when
selector knob G is set to any position. If yo
wish to switch the light on witho t activating any of the
heating elements, set the thermostat knob to 0°C.
Indicator light I
This indicates the heating- p phase of the oven is
nderway; as soon as the inside of the oven reaches
the set temperat re the light switches off.
At this point the indicator light will begin switching on
and off intermittently; this shows that the thermostat
is operating correctly in order to maintain a constant
temperat re inside the oven.
Spit - Rotisserie
This accessory sho ld only be sed when cooking with
the grill. Proceed as follows: thread the meat yo wish
to cook onto the rod positioned across the oven
lengthwise, fixing it in place with the adj stable forks
s pplied (fig. 2a).
Position s pports A and B (fig. 2b) in the relevant
holes in dripping pan E, rest the groove on the rod in
slot C and se the g ide rail to place the rack in the
lowest position in the oven; next position the rod in the
rotisserie spit hole, sliding the groove forwards to slot
D. Activate the grill and rotisserie spit by t rning knob
H on the comm tator to the positions displaying the
(grill), (maxigrill) or (maxigrill with fan)
symbols.

GB
Important: he appliance must be disconnected
from the electricity supply before any cleaning
procedures are performed.
To maximise the lifespan of the appliance, it sho ld be
cleaned reg larly and in accordance with the following
instr ctions:
Inner surface of the oven door:
Clean sing a cloth which has been dampened with
hot water and non-abrasive liq id detergent, then rinse
and dry thoro ghly.
Inside the oven:
 The inside of the oven is coated with a special, self-
cleaning microporo s enamel which, at normal
cooking temperat res between 200 and 300°C,
oxidises and completely eliminates all traces of
grease or other s bstances which stick to the inner
walls of the appliance. Cleaning is therefore a m ch
shorter process: it is, in fact, eno gh simply to wipe
the s rfaces of the oven with a damp cloth after
every se, in order to remove the thin layer of d st
which may be deposited d ring the cooking
process. This will help to preserve the self-cleaning
feat re of the oven.
 In the event that liq ids have spilled over d ring
cooking, or if the resid e has not been completely
eliminated (for example, when cooking with the grill,
which does not reach a high eno gh temperat re
for the self-cleaning enamel to be activated
completely), we recommend that the oven is left to
operate at its maxim m temperat re when empty
so that all traces of grease and other s bstances
can be eliminated.
 If, after n mero s attempts, there are still obvio s
greasy marks on the self-cleaning areas which are
most likely d e to the non-observance of the
abovementioned maintenance g idelines, clean the
s rfaces thoro ghly sing hot water and a soft
cloth (do not se any type of detergent), then rinse
thoro ghly and dry.
 Do not se sharp objects to remove any cr sted-on
resid e, as doing so may scratch the self-cleaning
s rface.
 If the self-cleaning s rfaces inside the oven are
damaged or rendered n sable d e to
maintenance proced res being forgotten or
performed incorrectly over a n mber of years, it is
possible to req est a self-cleaning panels kit,
which can be sed to coat the inside of the oven.
To order this kit, please contact one of o r
a thorised Assistance Centres.
Outer areas of the oven:
 Only perform this cleaning proced re when the
oven is cold.
 Steel parts  especially areas with screen-printed
symbols - sho ld not be cleaned sing thinners or
abrasive detergents; yo sho ld preferably j st se
a cloth which has been dampened with warm water
and washing p liq id.
Stainless steel can be marked by hard water which
has been left on the s rface for a long time, or by
aggressive detergents containing phosphor s.
It is therefore necessary to rinse the s rface well and
dry it caref lly after it has been cleaned.
Important: cleaning must be performed hori-
zontally, in the same direction as the satin-
finish effect of the steel.
 After cleaning, vario s treatments may be
performed in order to restore the shine of the
s rfaces: only se prod cts which are designed for
se with stainless steel.
Important: do not se abrasive powders, aggressive
detergents or acidic s bstances for cleaning p rposes.
Removing/fitting the oven door
The oven door can be removed in order to make
cleaning the inside of the appliance easier. Proceed
as follows (fig. 6-7):
 Open the door f lly and lift p the two small levers
B (fig. 6);
 Now, when the door is closed slightly, it can be lifted
o t by removing hooks A as shown in fig re 7.
FIGURE 6 FIGURE 7
o replace the door:
 With the door in an pright position, insert the
2 hooks A into the vents;
 Make s re that slot D is perfectly fastened
to the edge of the vent (move the door forwards and
backwards slightly);
 Keep the door completely open, shift the 2
levers B downwards, then close the door.

-E 14 cap.
Cleaning the glass ceramic hob
Before cooking, the s rface of the hob sho ld be
cleaned sing a damp cloth, to remove d st or resi-
d e from foods cooked previo sly. The s rface of the
hob sho ld be cleaned reg larly with a sol tion of warm
water and non-abrasive detergent. It will occasionally
be necessary to se special cleaning prod cts for
glass ceramic hobs. First, remove all food resid es
and traces of grease from the hob sing a special
cleaning scraper, for example (not
s pplied). Clean the hob when it is warm; se a s itable
cleaning prod ct and absorbent kitchen paper, polish
with a damp cloth and dry. Al mini m foil, plastic
objects or synthetic materials which are accidentally
melted on the hob, even s gar or foods with a high
s gar content, sho ld be removed from the hot cooking
zone immediately, sing a scraper. Special cleaning
prod cts form a transparent protective layer which
repels dirt. This also protects the s rface from potential
damage ca sed by foods with a high s gar content.
Never se abrasive prod cts or sponges; even ag-
gressive chemical detergents s ch as oven sprays or
stain removal prod cts sho ld be avoided.
