Description
This document includes installation information for the
Carrier Fire & Security LON2000 network interface module, a
LON700 driver that enables FP1200-2000 control panels to
connect to LON700 devices.
Installation
WARNING: Disconnect the control panel from mains power
and batteries before installation. All site data will be erased
during installation of this product. Be sure to back up site data
before installation.
Figure 1 shows connection details for the LON2000. Figure 2
shows LON2000 installation location on the host CPU module.

Push the LON2000 network interface module onto the host
CPU module making sure that the 20-pin connector points
make contact.
Connect the data cable and secure the LON2000 to the host
CPU module.
If the module is installed in the first or last control panel of a
LON network, the termination jumper should be set to T
(terminated). The default setting is D (not terminated).
The panel will automatically recognize the LON2000. Follow
the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.
For FP1200-2000 panels the LON network is limited to 32
nodes.
Cabling requirements
Caution: To ensure correct operation of your system, you
must follow the recommended cabling practices described
below.
CAT5 FTP cable is recommended, but any cable used must be
shielded twisted-pair and have a characteristic impedance of
100 to 120 Ω.
Maintenance
Basic maintenance is reduced to a yearly inspection. Do not
modify internal wiring or circuitry.

Popis
Tento document obsahuje instalační návod pro kartu LON2000
firmy Carrier Fire & Security. LON2000 je budič sběrnice
LON700, který umožňuje propojení ústředen FP1200/2000 s
tably a kartami série LON700.
Instalace
VAROVÁNÍ: Před instalací odpojte ústřednu od napájení 230V
a záložní baterie. Při instalaci této karty budou vymazána
všechna data z ústředny. Ujistěte se, že mate všechna data z
ústředny zálohována před započetím instalace.
Obrázek 1 ukazuje detaily zapojení LON2000. Obrázek 2
ukazuje umístění modulu LON2000 na desce procesoru HOST
v ústředně.

Zatlačte modul LON2000 na piny na desce procesoru Host co
nejvíce. Ujistěte se všech 20-pinů konektoru z procesoru
HOST jsou v příslušných otvorech a procházejí deskou
LON2000 a mají dobrý kontakt. Zapojte datový kabel.
Připevněte desku LON2000 na procesor HOST dodanou
matičkou a podložkou.
Pokud je LON2000 první nebo poslední na sběrnici, propojka
by měla být v poloze T (zakončovací odpor) pokud není,
propojka by měla být v poloze D (Default – tovární nastavení.
Po zapnutí ústředna automaticky rozpozná Postupujte podle
pokynů na dispaleji a dokončete instalaci.
Pro FP1200-2000, je LON-Sběrnice limitována na 32 uzlů -
nodů.
Požadavky na kabeláž
Upozornění: Pro zajištění správné funkce Vašeho systému,
musíte dodržet doporučené požadavky na kabeláž popsané
níže.
Je doporučen kabel CAT5 FTP, ale jakýkoliv použitý kabel
musí být stíněný twistovaný pár a mít charakteristickou
impedanci 100 – 120 Ω.
Údržba
Základní údržba je redukována na roční prohlídku. Neměňte
vnitřní zapojení nebo obvody karty.

Dette dokument indeholder information for installation af
LON2000 interface driver printkort fra Carrier Fire & Security.
LON2000 modulet er en LON700 driver, som tillader en
forbindelse mellem FP1200-2000 brandcentraler og LON700
serie enheder.
Installation
ADVARSEL: Afbryd centralen fra 230Vac -og batteri
forsyningen før installationen startes. Hele opsætningen i
centralen vil blives slettet ved installationen af dette modul.
Sørg for at have en komplet backup af opsætningen før
installationen startes.
Figur 1 viser i detaljer tilslutningerne på LON2000 modulet.

Pres forsigtigt LON2000 modulet på HOST CPU kortet, og så
langt ned som muligt. Vær sikker på at 20 pin forbindelsen fra
HOST CPU kortet passerer igennem stikket på LON2000
modulet, og at alle forbindelser har fået kontakt. Tilslut data
kablet.
Fastgør LON2000 modulet til HOST CPU kortet, med den
medfølgende møtrik og afstands stag.
Hvis LON2000 modulet er placeret i den første eller sidste
central i et LON netværk, skal jumper (figur 1, del 2) sættes til
“T” mode (terminering). Ellers sættes jumper til ”D” mode
(default).
Centralen vil automatisk genkende LON2000 som et nyt kort.
Og der kræver derfor ingen ny konfiguration. Følg instruktionen
på LCD displayet, for at færdiggøre installationen.
For FP1200-2000 er LON-bussen begrænset til 32 noder.
Krav til kabeltilslutning
Advarsel: For at sikre en korrekt brug af deres system, skal
følgende anbefaling for brug af kabeltilslutning, som beskrevet
nedenfor, overholdes.
CAT5 FTP er anbefalet , men ved brug af andet kabel, skal
dette være som twisted pair med skærm, og have en
impdedans på mellem 100 – 120 Ω.
Vedligeholdelse

Beschreibung
Dieses Dokument beinhaltet Installationsinformationen für das
Carrier Fire & Security LON2000 Modul. Das LON2000 ist ein
LON700 Treiber der die Anschaltung von LON700
Komponenten an die Zentralen der Serie FP1200-2000
ermöglicht.
Installation
WARNUNG: Die Steuerzentrale von der Netzspannung und
den Batterien trennen, bevor das Modul eingesetzt, ausgebaut
oder umgesetzt werden muss. Alle Zentralendaten werden bei
der Installation dieses Moduls gelöscht. Sichern Sie die
Zentralen-programmierung vor der Installation.
Abbildung 1 zeigt Anschlussdetails für das LON2000.
Abbildung 2 zeigt LON2000 Modul Steckplatz am Host CPU
Board.

Stecken Sie das LON2000 Modul vorsichtig und sorgsam auf
die Steckerleiste am Host CPU Board. Stellen Sie sicher das
die 20-Buchsenleiste von dem Host CPU Board mit der
LON2000 Modulkarte aufgesteckt ist und die Stecker
ordnungsgemäß kontaktieren. Verbinden Sie das Datenkabel.
Schrauben Sie das LON2000 Modul an den vorher montierten
Haltebolzen mit der beigefügten Unterlegscheibe und
selbstsichernden Mutter M4.
Es ist keine Konfiguration hierfür erforderlich. Ist das LON2000
Modul als erster Teilnehmer im LON Netzwerk, muss der
Jumper auf die Stellung T (Terminated) gesetzt werden, wenn
nicht erforderlich kann der Jumper auf D (Default) Stellung
verbleiben.
Die Zentrale erkennt automatisch die LON2000 Modulkarte.
Folgen Sie den Anweisungen im Display zur Vervoll-
ständigung der Installation.
Für die FP1200-2000 ist der LON-Bus auf 32 Teilnehmer
limitiert.
Verkabelungsanforderungen
Achtung: Um eine korrekte Funktionsweise ihres Systems zu
gewährleisten, müssen die empfohlenen Kabelspezifikationen
wie folgend beachtet werden.
CAT5 FTP Kabel werden empfohlen, sollten andere
geschirmte Twisted- Pair- Kabeltypen verwendet werden,
müssen diese eine charakteristische Impedanz von 100 – 120
Ωhaben.
Wartung
Grundlegend sollte einmal jährlich eine Wartung erfolgen. Die
interne Verdrahtung nicht verändern.

Description
Ce document contient les informations pour l'installation pour
la carte LON2000 de Carrier Fire & Security. Le LON2000 est
une interface pour les centrales FP1200-2000 afin de pouvoir
raccorder un dispositif de la série LON700.
Installation
ATTENTION: Déconnecter la centrale du secteur et des
batteries avant le déplacement, le remplacement ou l’ajout du
module. Toutes données seront effacées pendant l’installation
de ce produit. N’oubliez pas de faire une copie de sauvegarde
avant l’installation.
Le schéma 1 montre des détails de raccordement pour le
LON2000. Le schéma 2 montre l’emplacement du module
LON2000 sur l'unité centrale.

Placer la carte LON2000 aussi loin que possible de la carte
principale. Assurez-vous que le connecteur mâle 20-pins est
bien connecté. Reliez le câble de données
Fixer la carte LON2000 à la carte principale au moyen de
l'écrou et les rondelles fournis.
Si le panneau de l'interface LON2000 est placé au niveau du
premier ou du dernier panneau d'un réseau de LON, le pontet
(figure 1, le point 2) devrait être placé en mode T (terminé)
sinon que le pontet devrait être placé en mode D (défaut).
Le panneau s’identifiera automatiquement. Suivez les
instructions sur l’écran pour compléter l’installation.
Pour les FP1200-2000, le bus LON est limité à 32 nœuds.
Exigences de câblage
AVERTISSEMENT: Pour assurer le bon fonctionnement de
votre système, vous devez suivre les recommandations de
câblage décrites ci-dessous.
Un câble CAT5 FTP est recommandé, ou tout autre câble à
paires torsadées et faradisé possédant une impédance
caractéristique de 100 - 120 Ω.

Ez a dokumentáció a Carrier Fire & Security LON2000 illesztő

LON2000 egy olyan illesztő egység, mely lehetőséget biztosít

Telepítés
FIGYELEM: A LON2000 csatlakozása előtt kapcsolja le a

Helyezze a LON2000 kártyát a Host CPU panelen lévő
csatlakozóra. Ügyeljen rá, hogy a 20 pólusú csatlakozó minden
eleme megfelelően csatlakozzon. Csatlakoztassa az
adatkábelt.
A mellékelt távtartó és csavar segítségével rögzítse a
LON2000-es kártyát.
Ha a LON2000 illesztő kártya az első vagy az utolsó eszköz a
LON hálózaton akkor a jumper-t T állásba kell tenni. Ha nem
az első vagy utolsó eszköz a LON hálózaton akkor D állásba
tegye a jumper-t.
A központ automatikusan felismeri a LON2000-es illesztő
egységet. Kövesse a kijelzőn megjelenő utasításokat a
telepítés befejezéséhez.
Az FP1200-2000 központok esetében a LON hálózat 32 node-
ból állhat.
Kábelezési követelmények
Vigyázat: A rendszer megfelelő működése érdekében kövesse
az alábbiakban felsorolt kábelezéssel kapcsolatos javaslatokat.
CAT5 FTP javasolt, de bármilyen kábelt is használ annak
árnyékolt, csavart érpárnak kell lennie, 100 – 120 Ω
impedanciával.
Karbantartás
Alap esetben a karbantartást évente szükséges megtenni. Ne

Descrizione
Questo documento include le informazioni di installazione per il
driver di interfaccia Carrier Fire & Security modello LON2000. Il
modulo è un driver LON700 che permette il collegamento delle
Centrali antincendio FP1200-2000 con gli apparati della serie
LON700.
Installazione
AVVERTENZA: Prima dell’installazione, scollegare la rete
230Vac e le batterie dalla Centrale. Durante l’installazione di
questo prodotto, tutti i dati della configurazione dell’impianto
verranno cancellati. Effettuare pertanto un Back Up dei dati
inerenti la configurazione dell’impianto prima dell’installazione
del modulo.
La figura 1 mostra i dettagli di collegamento per la scheda
LON2000. La figura 2 mostra la posizione del modulo
LON2000 sulla scheda host CPU.

Premere verso il basso e fin dove è possibile, la scheda
LON2000 sulla scheda host CPU. Prestare attenzione al
connettore munito di 20-pin situato sulla scheda host CPU; è
necessario che quest’ultimo si infili in modo corretto nel
connettore femmina della scheda LON2000.
La linea dati non è sensibile alle polarità. Fissare la scheda
LON2000 alla scheda host CPU con il dado e le rondelle
fornite.
Se la scheda di interfaccia LON2000 viene posta sulla prima o
sull’ultima Centrale di una rete LON, il jumper di terminazione
necessita di essere impostato su T (terminato); se invece la
scheda LON2000 risulterà essere in una posizione intermedia
della rete LON, il jumper andrà impostato su D (default).
La Centrale riconoscerà automaticamente la scheda LON2000.
Per completare l’installazione seguire le istruzioni a display.
Con la Centrale FP1200-2000, il bus LON è limitato a 32 nodi.
Requisiti di cablaggio
Attenzione: perchè il sistema possa funzionare correttamente
è assolutamente necessario rispettare i requisiti di cablaggio di
cui sotto.
E’ raccomandato l’uso di cavo CAT5 FTP; in ogni caso il cavo
utilizzato deve essere twistato e schermato a coppie, dotato di
schermatura generale e deve avere un’impedenza di 100 –
120 Ω.
Manutenzione
La manutenzione richiesta è stata ridotta ad una ispezione
all’anno. Non modificare I collegamenti interni o la circuiteria.

NL: Installatie instructies
Omschrijving
Dit document bevat installatie informatie voor de Carrier Fire &
Security LON2000 interface driver. De LON2000 is een
LON700 driver voor het aansluiten van LON700 serie modules
op de FP1200-2000 serie brandmeldpanelen.
Installatie
WAARSCHUWING: Verwijder voor installatie de
voedingsspanning en accu’s van het paneel. Alle
programmering zal worden gewist als dit product wordt
geinstalleerd. Maak een back up van de programmering voor
installatie.
Figuur 1 is voor de aansluitgegevens van de LON2000. Figuur
2 is voor de LON2000 module locatie op de Host CPU print.

Druk de LON2000 print zover mogelijk op de host CPU print.
De 20-pin connector van de Host CPU moet in zijn geheel door
de LON2000 print en de connector punten moeten contact
maken. Sluit de data kabel.
Bevestig de LON2000 print op de host CPU print met de
meegeleverde ring en verlengstuk.
Als de LON2000 interface print is geplaatst in het eerste of
laatste paneel van een LON netwerk, de jumper moet in de T
mode (Terminated) worden geplaatst zo niet moet de jumper in
de D mode (Default) worden geplaatst.
Het paneel zal automatisch de LON2000 herkennen. Volg de
onscreen instructies voor een complete installatie.
Voor de FP1200-2000, de LON-Bus is gelimiteerd tot 32
nodes.
Kabel vereisten
Waarschuwing: Voor een goede werking van het systeem,
moeten de volgende kabelvoorschriften die hieronder zijn
beschereven worden opgevolgd.
CAT5 FTP kabel wordt aanbevolen, maar elke kabel die
gebruikt wordt moet twisted-pair zijn, afgeschermd, en voldoen
een karakteristieke impedantie hebben van 100 – 120 Ω.
Onderhoud
Basis onderhoud is verminderd tot een jaarlijkse inspectie.
Wijzig geen interne bedrading of circuits.

Descrição
Este documento contem informação de instalação do interface
LON2000 da Carrier Fire & Security. O LON2000 é um driver
da LON700 que permite a ligação dos painéis de incêndio da
série FP1200-2000 aos dispositivos da série LON700.
Instalação
AVISO: Desligue o painel antes de efectuar a instalação. Os
dados da central são todos apagados durante a instalação
deste produto. Certifique-se de que efectua p backup de todos
os dados, antes de efectuar a instalação.

Coloque a placa LON2000 na placa host CPU pressionando o
mais possível. Certifique-se de que o conector de 20-pinos da
Host CPU se encontra perfeitamente ligado. Ligue o cabo de
dados.
Fixe a carta LON2000 á carta host CPU com a porta e anilha
fornecidos.
Se a placa de interface LON2000 for colocado no primeiro ou
ultimo painel da rede LON, o jumper (figura1, item 2) deve ser
colocado na posição de modo T (Terminal) se não colocar na
posição modo D (Default).
O painel irá reconhecer automaticamente a LON2000. Siga as
instruções apresentadas no display para completar a
instalação.
Para a FP1200-2000, o bus-LON encontra-se limitado a 32
dispositivos.
Requisitos de cablagem
Cuidado: Para assegurar a correcta operação do seu sistema,
deve seguir as recomendações de cabos descritas de seguida.
É recomendado o cabo tipo CAT5 FTP, no entanto qualquer
cabo utilizado deve ser blindado e de par entrançado, e de
acordo impedância característica de 100 – 120 Ω.
Manutenção
A manutenção básica encontra-se reduzida a uma inspecção
anual. Não modificar as ligações ou circuitos internos.

Popis produktu
Tento dokument obsahuje informácie ohľadne inštalácie
rozhrania LON2000 od Carrier Fire & Security. LON2000 je
LON700 driver, ktorý umožňuje spojenie požiarnych ústrední
FP1200-2000 so zariadeniami série LON700.
Inštalácia
VAROVANIE: Pred inštaláciou odpojte z ústredne sieťové
napájanie a batérie. Počas inštalácie tohto produktu sa
vymažú všetky nastavenia ústredne. Uistite sa, že data sú pred
inštaláciou zálohované.
Obrázok 1 zobrazuje detaily pripojenia pre LON2000. Obrázok
2 zobrazuje umiestnenie modulu LON2000 na hlavnej
procesorovej doske.

Zasuňte dosku LON2000 na hlavnú procesorovú dosku a
uistite sa, že vývody majú kontakt s 20-pinovým konektorom.
Pripojte dátový kábel a upevnite kartu LON2000 na hlavnú
procesorovú dosku.
Ak je doska rozhrania LON2000 osadená v prvom alebo
poslednom bode LON siete, prepojka má byť nastavená v
režime T (ukončené), ak nie, prepojka má byť v režime D
(štandardný).
Ústredňa automaticky rozpozná novú dosku LON2000. Na
ukončenie inštalácie sledujte inštrukcie na displeji.
Pre FP1200-2000 je LON-zbernica obmedzená na 32 uzlov.
Požiadavky na káble
Upozornenie: Na zaistenie správneho fungovania vášho
systému, musíte dodržať odporúčané princípy káblovania
opísané nižšie.
Odporúča sa kábel CAT5 FTP, ale akýkoľvek použitý kábel
musí byť tienený krútený pár a mať charakteristickú
impedanciu 100 – 120 Ω.
