Highshortcircuitcurrentthroughconductivematerialscouldcausesevereburns.
Alicensedelectricianisrequiredtoinstallpermanentlywiredequipment.
Checkthatthepowercord(s),plug(s),andsocketsareingoodcondition.
Toreducetheriskofelectricshockwhengroundingcannotbeverified,disconnectthe
equipmentfromtheACpoweroutletbeforeinstallingorconnectingtootherequipment.
Reconnectthepowercordonlyafterallconnectionsaremade.
Donothandleanykindofmetallicconnectorbeforethepowerhasbeenremoved.
ConnecttheequipmenttoathreewireACoutlet(twopolesplusground).Thereceptacle
mustbeconnectedtoappropriatebranchcircuit/mainsprotection(fuseorcircuitbreaker).
Connectiontoanyothertypeofreceptaclemayresultinashockhazard.
General–Thesafetyinstructionsmanualfortheenclosuresshallcontainthefollowing
statementsorequivalentanditisshallshipwitheachproduct:
oProvidetheminimumspacingsbetweentheaccessories/componentsandthe
cabinethousingthatshallbemaintainedforsafeoperationoftheequipmentwhen
installedinaccordancewiththeNationalElectricCode,ANSI/NFPA70.
oAsappropriate,allwiringandequipmentshouldbeinstalledinaccordancewith
NFPA70,“NationalElectricalCode,”andtheapplicablesectionsofANSIC2,
