ELOCK:usethemanualreleasekeymechanismonthe

Verifythatthewallisloadbearingandcapableofholdingapossibleloadof300kg(660lbs).
Consultwithanengineerifinanydoubt.
Ifinstallingonawoodenframedwall;locatetheverticalstudcenters.NOTEthechassismust
besecureddirectlyintotheseframingstuds.
NotethattheMX800Modelsaresuitablefor400mm(16in)studcentertimberframedwalls.
600mm(24in)centerwallsrequiretheoptionalwalladapterkit(contactThureon).Forsolid
masonrywallsusethe400mm(16in)holes–allothermountingsubstratesarerequiredto

recommendeddepthforthechosenfastenerssuitablefor
thetypeofwallandanchoringsystem.
ThetoptwomountingholesintheArmaracchassisare
“keyholed”tofacilitateeaseofmounting–pleaseensure
thattheheadofyourselectedfastenerpassesthrough
thekeyhole.
Fitthefastenerintotheholethroughthechassis(start
withtoplefthole).

Noteifusingachemicalmasonryanchoritwillneedto
curebeforetakingtheweightofthechassis.
Usingaspiritlevelonthetopandsidesofthechassisto
ensurethebracketissquare,markthetop‐rightmounting
holecenter.
Ifneeded(e.g.chemicalanchorsystem)removethe
chassis,drilltheholetotherecommendedsizeanddepth
fortheanchoringsystembeingused.
Step5–Drilltheremainingholes
Withthechassisheldinplacebythetoptwofasteners,markanddrilltheremainingsix
holesthroughthechassismountingholes.
Fitandtightentheremainingsixfasteners.
Step6–ConfirmChassisissecure
Confirmalleight(8)fastenershavesecuredthechassistothewall.
Verifyallrecommendedtorque(andifapplicablecuringtimes)specifiedbytheanchoring
systemmanufacturershavebeenmet.
Foreaseofaccessitisnotrecommendedthatyouremountthedoorsuntilyouhave
completedthepowersupplyingressstepsthatfollow.
Ifpoweristobecompletedbysomeoneelse,oratalatertime,pleaseremounttheleft
handsidedoorandengagethedoorclipsuponclosure.Thenmounttherighthandsidedoor
andclose&lock.

6.ConnectingaPowerSupply
N4Xair‐conditioningunitsrequiredadedicated10ASingle‐phaseACpowersupplyforeach
airconmodule.EachAirconmodulehasadedicatedpoweringresspointatthetoprearof
thechassiswithamatchingIECC19lockingpowerreceptacle.
Anadditional10Asingle‐phasepowersupplyisrequiredfortheinternalequipmenttobe
mountedwithintheArmaracenclosure.Thispoweringresspointisatthebottomrearofthe
chassis(leftorrightsidetosuit)orcanbesetupwithdual/redundantpowerfeedswithtwo
receptacles.
6.1InternalIEC‐C19powerreceptacles
Step1–Removethepowerreceptacle
RemovetheupperandlowerPatchPanelMountingTrays
fromwithinthechassisusinga2.5mmhexkey.
Removethepowersocketshieldusinga7mmhexsocket.
Removetheplasticclosedgrommetfromthesiderearof
thechassiscoveringthecableentryholeprovidedto
facilitatepowercableentrytothatpowerreceptacle.
Step2–Terminatethepowerfeed
Ifusingconduit,terminateyourglandintotheopening
providedonthechassis(1‐inchdiameter).
RoutethecableinsidetheArmaracandthroughthehole
onthesideofthepowersocketshield
TerminatethepowerfeedontosuppliedIECC19power
terminationsocket(maximumrating250V16A).
RefitthepowersocketshieldtotheChassis.
Refitthepatchpanelmountingtraytothechassis.

Step2–Install/connectthepoweroutlet
Ifthepoweroutletisalreadyinplaceyoucan
nowinstalltheArmaracintopositionandfixit
tothewallasdescribedinSection5above.
Alternativelyyoucannowinstallanewoutlet
inthecorrectposition.
Thecut‐outinthechassisissuitableforasingle
(shown),doubleorquadpoweroutlettobe
fitted.

7.InstallingAir‐conditioningModules
Itiscriticaltotheoperationandwarrantyoftheair‐conditioningmodulesthattheyremain
uprightatalltimes.
Allair‐conditioningmodulesmustbeleftfor24hoursaftermountinginsidetheN4Xdoorspriorto
runningthemforthefirsttime.
7.1 InstallingtheRightHandAirConModule
Step1–Deboxyouraircon(IceQube)modules
Cutthecardboardpackagingawaywhereindicated
ontheoutsideoftheIceQubebox.Removethe
packagingtoexposetheairconmoduleandaccessory
kit.
PlacethegasketkitandEthernetcontrollersafelyto
oneside.
Step2–Applyairconmodulemounting/sealinggasket
CarefullyplacetheIceQubemoduleonasuitable
worksurfacewhilstmaintainingtheunituprightatall
times.
Applythesuppliedgasketkittothe‘front’surfaceof
theIceQubeasshowninthegasketinstallationkit

Step3–FittheLiftHandlestotheAirconMountPanel
IdentifythetwoLiftHandlesfromyourArmarac
Accessoriesboxandmounttotherighthandside
doorinnerairconmountpanelwiththefour(4)
M6x25FlatHeadscrewsprovided.
Step4–RemovetheAirconMountPanelfrominside
theDoor
Removetheinsulatingfoamfrominfrontofthe
AirconMountPaneltoexposeallthesfasteners.
RemovetheblackM6Buttonheadscrewsfrom
aroundtheperimeteroftheAirconMountPanel.
Usethe4.0mmBall‐endhexdriversuppliedin
theAccessoriesbox.
Onceunscrewed,removethispanelfromthe
doorusingtheLiftHandlesfittedinthestep
above.
Step5–FittheAirconMountPaneltotheIceQube
airconmodule
Aligntheeight(8)mountingholesintheAircon
MountPanelwiththematchinganchorpointson
theIceQubeairconmodule.Fastenwiththe
suppliedeight(8)M6Blackbuttonheadscrews.
Donotovertightenthescrews.Insteadthe
gasketfittedinStep2shouldcompressevenlyto
approximately3mm(1/8in).
