SAFETY:
Your safety and that of others

these should only be relied on in emergencies as a last resort. When taking part in a watersport, ensure you have as much information and
education as possible in order to avoid placing yourself in life-threatening situations.
The Basics
• Know how to swim. Even if you’re a good swimmer, wear a life jacket/PFD when you’re on the water.
• Never go out alone.
• Check weather and sea conditions before heading out.
• When starting learning, take lessons from experienced and qualied professional sources.
• Protect your head with a watersports helmet.
• Know the local rules.
• Be respectful of ALL sea life.
• Label your gear with contact info.
• Protect your skin.
• Be respectful to all water users and keep a safe distance to avoid incidents.
Foil Sports and Environments
The range of foil sport activities is diverse and different safety concerns will arise depending on the activity. For example, the safety
requirements and considerations for surf or SUP foiling will be different to someone intending to wake or tow foil behind a boat. The
environment in which the sport is practiced will also have a bearing on what safety advice you should follow.

1: Mast
Our tapered one-piece carbon fibre
masts are ultra solid at the top and
slick through the water down below.
The unique core layup delivers a mast
with smooth consistent reactive flex
which generates sweet handling
response, better stability and flex to
drive you through turns.
2: Hardware
Our mast to board hardware are
the crown jewels of the foil world.
We developed an ultra-strong
and corrosion free mast to board
connection system that takes it to the
next level with titanium bi-directional
washers, titanium t-nuts and our own
torx head stainless steel 316L screws.
3: Stabiliser
Designed to harmonise with our front
foils. The angle of the stabiliser can be
adjusted with our Polycarbonate Pro
Shims (PPS), allowing you to tune your
set up to your personal preference.
Construction consists of a foam core
wrapped with high quality carbon
to keep it light and rigid. Titanium
screw inserts are in keeping with our
philosophy of zero corrosion materials
throughout.
4: Fuselage
The Armstrong TC fuselage is a
ground breaking work of art in
terms of engineering and design.
The fuselage has a solid titanium
core running throughout its length,
and all screws tap into this core for
strength and a corrosion free ride.
5: Front foils
Our foils are shaped and refined
to deliver that sublime Armstrong
feeling. The foil sections have
been carefully refined by one of
the world’s foremost sport wing
designers. Construction is based
around a high-density foam core,
wrapped with 100% IM and high
modulus carbon fibre.

Disassemble:
1. To remove the front foil, undo the screws and hold the front of the mast. Apply rm pressure at the back of the foil with your
