Installation of cradle
1. Refer to the below pictures, connect the host with the scanner with different cables
firstly, and then connect the adaptor to the power socket.
2. Ensure that all connections are secure. After a few seconds, if only the blue LED on
the cradle is ON, it indicates the cradle is in normal working mode.
Note: If you use the PS/2 keyboard cable, you must restart the device after the connection is
successful.

Indication of handheld unit for wireless data transmission
➢A standard kit contains: a handheld unit, a cradle, a cable, and a quick guide.
➢It is suggested to read the user manual in details before use.
➢Please charge the battery before the first time of
use. The Red LED on the handheld unit is turned
on when the charging is in process. When the
charging process completes, the Red LED is
turned off, and the Green LED is turned on.
➢Charging time: 6 hours for fully charged.
➢You can charge the battery via a USB port on the
device or an optional 5 VDC adapter.

Turn off/on handheld unit
1. If you want to turn off the handheld unit, scan the
barcode as shown right.
2. If you want to turn off the handheld unit via trigger key, please press and hold the
trigger key, after the laser beam turns off, wait for another 5 seconds, the handheld
unit will be turned off, then you can release the trigger key at this moment.
3. If you want to turn on the handheld unit again, please keep the trigger key being
pressing for 3 seconds.
Quick setting to wireless network
1. Make sure that both the handheld unit and the cradle are in
normal working mode. Normally it means that only the blue
LED on the cradle are ON.
2. The handheld terminal scans the connection barcode at the
bottom of the base, and the handheld terminal will attempt to
connect to the base. At the same time, the handheld terminal
will make beep-beep-beep sound.
3. If the connection is successful, the handheld terminal can be used directly. If the
connection is unsuccessful, the handheld terminal will make a beep——beep——
sound, and the red LED on the handheld will blinks 2 times, and then turns off.
4. If you want to disconnect, you can scan the barcode as shown below.
