This manual is designed to help you familiarize yourself with the operation of the Digital-
to-Analog Converter Box. It also describes the features of the product and the remote
control. Please read this manual carefully before using the Digital-to-Analog Converter
Box.

Remote Control Review
POWER:Digital-to-Analog
Converter Box ON / OFF.
0-9:Toggles among TV
channels.
DASH:Sub-channel access.
DIRECTIONS:Browses,
Changes channels,
Adjusts the volume levels.
EXIT:Exits the menu setup.
SIGNAL:Press to view signal
strength of the current channel.
FREEZE:Press to freeze the
current picture. Press again to
resume motion.
CC:Enables Closed Caption
feature.
EPG:Enables Electronic
Program Guide (EPG).
OK:Conrms menus.
MUTE:Mutes sound.
AUDIO:Audio language.

Connecting Power:
1. Connect the DC jack to the backside of Digital-to-Analog Converter Box.
2. Connect the power adapter to AC outlet.
Antenna Cable
Connecting Antenna:
1. Connect the antenna cable to RF IN on the Digital-to-Analog Converter Box.

Connecting TV:
Select RF cable connection or AV cable (with RCA connector) connection connect
TV according to your personal requirement, connect methods as follows:
RF cable connection
1. Connect the RF cable to RF IN / ANT. IN
on the TV.
2. Connect the other end of the RF cable
to the RF OUT jack on the
Digital-to-Analog
Converter Box.

Start
AV cable (with RCA connector) connection
1. Connect the video plug (yellow) of the AV cable to the AV IN jack (yellow) on the TV
(As shown in image 1).
2. Connect the audio plug (white and red) of the AV cable to the corresponding jack
on the TV (As shown in image 2).
3. Connect the other end of the AV cable to the corresponding jack on the
Digital-to-Analog Converter Box (As shown in image 3).

Connecting to TV and Video Devices (VCR, DVD Recorder, etc):
1. Use a standard Audio/Video cable to connect the Audio/Video out jack on the
Converter Box to the Audio/Video input jack on the DVD recorder.
2. Use a standard Audio/Video cable to connect the Audio/Video output jack on the
DVD recorder to the Audio/Video input jack on the TV.

Set Up
Activate the Digital-to-Analog Converter Box
1. Follow the instructions (indicated in the "Connection Cable" section) to connect the
power supply and other required peripheral devices.
2. Make sure that the batteries have been properly installed in the remote control.
3. After the TV is on, press POWER on the remote control or POWER on the top of the
Digital-to-Analog Converter Box to turn on the Digital-to-Analog Converter Box.
Initial Setup
After the Digital-to-Analog Converter Box is turned on, it will automatically lead you to the
Install Guide.
1. Press (Next) buttons to start installation.
2. Press buttons to select Display Language and press (Next) buttons.
3. Press OK to start an automatic channel scan. Press (Next) buttons when nished.
4. Press buttons to select Time Zone and press (Next) buttons.
5. This setting is completed, press OK to exit.

Menu Function Guide
Press MENU on the remote control to enter the menu.
You can perform the following setup tasks after entering
the "MENU" :
CHANNEL
Channel Scan
1. Select Channel Scan from the
CHANNEL and press OK to start
channel scan.
Note:
If you want to re-scan channel when the
Lock System is set on the "On" mode,
then you have to input the previous Lock
Password number.
Channel Add
1. Select Channel Add from the CHANNEL
and press OK to star scan add channel.
Channel Input
1. Select Channel Input from the CHANNEL and
press OK.
2. Use the buttons to select input according to
your personal requirement.

OPTION
Channel Edit
1. Select Channel Edit from the CHANNEL and
press OK.
2. Use the buttons to move the color block to
dene certain programs you wish to delete or add,
press OK.
Manual Scan
1. Select Manual Scan from the CHANNEL and
press OK.
2. Use the buttons to select the channels.
3. Press OK to conrm delete or add channel.
Clock
1. Select Clock from the OPTION and press OK.
2. Use the buttons to select Time Zone to the
time zone where you are located.
Aspect Ratio
1. Select Aspect Ratio from the OPTION and
press OK.
2. Use the buttons to select the desired Aspect
Ratio mode.

Display Language
1. Select Display Language from the OPTION and
press OK.
2. Use the buttons to select your desired Display
Language.
Audio Language
1. Select Audio Language from the OPTION and
press OK.
2. Use the buttons to select your desired Audio
Language.
Caption Select
1. Select Caption Select from the OPTION and
press OK.
2. Use the buttons to select the desired ACC
(Analog Close Captioning) or DCC (Digital Close
Captioning) mode.
Note:
To enable the DCC View function, please select
DCC and select .
Note:
If your television is equipped with a caption feature,
you may want to turn captioning off on your television
in order to avoid double captions on the screen.

Picture
1. Select Picture from the OPTION and
press OK.
2. Use the buttons to select your
desired setting items, press OK.
3. Use the buttons to adjust the
number.
4. To reset the setting to the picture default,
please select Picture Default and press
OK.
Accessory
1. Select Accessory from the OPTION
and press OK.
2. Displays the current system software
version information.
3. To reset the setting to the factory default,
please press OK button, select Yes then
press OK.
Note:
If you want to return to factory default settings when the Lock System is set on the
"On" mode, then you have to input the previous Lock Password number.
Sleep Mode
1. Select Sleep Mode from the OPTION and press OK.
2. Use the buttons to select the desired time or Off
sleep timer.
Note:
If remote control has been inactive for more than 4 hours,
the Converter Box will automatically go into sleep mode.
Press POWER button, it will to restart active power on
the Converter Box.
DCC View
1. Select DCC View from the OPTION and press OK.
2. Use the buttons to select the desired DCC View.

Set Password
1. Select Set Password from the LOCK and press OK.
2. Enter and re-enter again to conrm your new
Password by pressing the NUMBER buttons on the
remote control.
Block Channel
1. Select Block Channel from the LOCK and press OK.
2. Use the buttons to move the color block to dene
certain programs you wish to Block or Unblock, press
OK.
Lock System
1. Select Lock System from the LOCK and press OK.
2. Use the buttons to select "Off" or "On" according
to your personal requirement.
1. Select Lock and press OK.
2. Enter your Password number by pressing the
NUMBER buttons on the remote control.
Note: The default code is "0000".

TV Rating-General
1. Select TV Rating-General from the
LOCK and press OK.
2. Use the buttons to select the desired
rating settings item, press OK. The rating
settings window will appear.
3. Use the buttons to move the color
block to dene certain rating item that
you want to Block or Unblock.

1. Select TV Rating-Children from the
LOCK and press OK.
2. Use the buttons to select the desired
rating settings item, press OK. The rating
settings window will appear.

Movie Rating
1. Select Movie Rating from the LOCK and press OK.
2. Use the buttons to move the color block to dene
certain rating item that you want to Block or Unblock.
